  1. Some good points made about the DCS WWII situation. I too supported the Kickstarter with hard earned and am happy to have DCS take it under its wing. After all what was the alternative?.....the whole thing just folding? As said before I will just be happy to see a DCS new map and WWII planes and ground vehicles.
  2. Thanks for the extra info Mike.....I am sure it will come in useful as a check if others have a similar fault. Glad you up and running. Cheers
  3. Glad to hear Mike. But please don't leave it there! To help others in the future..... ..what exactly did you take apart?....The joystick? ..and which wire was broken eg: colour and finally why do you think it broke? Cheers....it all helps the community.
  4. Neat job gothicghost. I have done something similar and back lit them with green LEDs. Then I print on thin printer paper inserts for each MFD and the green light shines through the paper so that I can fly and read then at night! Just an idea.
  5. Brillant work upuaut. They really look up to DCS standard and something we could really do with. Especially the under slung loads and new tents. Do they all have a 'damage model'? ie: if you bomb/ shoot/ crash into them do they deform/damage? I would really like to see good work like this in DCS World base so that all can enjoy. Cheers
  6. Yes with complex on line missions we have experienced frame rate problems.
  7. Wow Romeokilo.....what a fantastic effort. looks like a great set of controls you are building up for yourself. Thanks for sharing ..it is always good to see other enthusiasts ideas.....any rough ideas of what you have spent? Cheers
  8. Hi Doveman, I went to a few car scrap yards and I have got....what is for me a perfect seat. It is a passenger seat, because that is the seat least used, from a people carrier. I think it was a Citroen Picassa. It even has a fold up arm rest....great for stabilising my joystick arm and swivels. I mounted it rails and all on concrete building block with some wood and bolts. If you are interested I can give you more details. Regards
  9. Yes there does seem to be a difference between what you see of and aircraft and what other see of you. It is some sort of synchronisation problem. In MP it is more of a problem. however over that past few versions it has got better.
  10. Some really good work. How easy would it be to incorporate these object in the Free DCS World?... ...and why don't they do it? It seems to me that we have had all these new modules but no extra ground features that go with them.
  11. Well msalama I am not expert but when flying multiplayer it we have found that you may have put a fire out according to your graphics....but to others flying and looking at you plane you still look as though you are on fire.
  12. Yes as Magic say check network connection and ping rates of all concerned. We always fly in MP and a solid server is always a must. Cheers
  13. This sometimes happens to me. However check your multi player connection settings. Change the speed setting to one that matches your modem/connection. Try LAN as a connection speed. Hope this helps
  14. Well Simulatoregp I have watched this thread with amazement! What a fantastic simulator. Great work all round you should work for Kamov! Please keep sharing.
  15. If you try to enter an aircraft in mp that you do not have a registered copy of.....or you Dcs does not recognise the serial number.....you get kicked to an Outside view. Check your serial number in module manager.
  16. Excellent work and thanks for sharing. We have a truly international hobby.
  17. Good video. Well produced, edited and great sound track. Looks like your squadron enjoy flying DCS.
  18. We'll from my experience the screen can be offset. However, while the multi player programme is loading if I keep clicking, left mouse button, on the desktop of my centre monitor the image loads perfectly...almost every time. That may help or be totally irrelevant.;)
  19. Some good screen shots there and confirms to me the level of fidelity the final simulation will be. Appreciate the update and good luck with the future coding. My money well spent, so far any way.
  20. Thanks. Just printed it out will give it a try. Keep up the good work. Regards
  21. Thanks guys but I don't seem to be able to zoom out far enough to save a default position. For example 126 SU25T Free flight ...the pilot position is sitting well back. same flight in 127 the pilot view is much near the HUD? What has changed?
  22. I have just connected 3 monitors together using an NVidia 770. Frame rates seem good. However, the default zoom seems too close. I do have cockpit zoom set up on a slider but I would like the default setting set back about 30cms or so. Any ideas what I change in the lua code and where do I find the file to edit? Any help would be appreciated. Regard
  23. Some great workmanship there. I particularly like how neat it looks with the centre panel screen. Do you fly any other DCS module and if so how does it look in that? Thanks for sharing. BTW Shrek Squadron is a friendly British based squad that has a group of regulars that fly from all over Europe. Some are A10 jockies...come on over you would be welcome.
  24. Wow a really neat set up. I like the way it is so multi sim functional. The track ball and bottle of beer...quality! Regards
  25. Great I really liked the way you built up the tension and coordinated the music to the action. Fantastic work...keep it up.
