We can go round and round forever with all kinds of scenarios but the fact remains that if someone wants to bring the plane down bad enough and they are a pilot copilot whatever.. They are going to bring it down... There is no silver bullet answer to questions like these and it sucks for sure.. But that is the way of it..

Well I am not certain if DCS has implemented wing vapor "Like that", but they may have and we simply haven't met the conditions to see it.. We have no idea how fast this plane is flying, what altitude, what the temperature is or the relative humidity.. All of these items effect the vapor coming off the wings.. So my answer is .. I don't know, but just because you haven't seen it doesn't necessarily mean it isn't modelled in the sim..

Try turning the detail level up and then fly the Huey close to the ground and check that again.. I am betting your CPU utilization will be much higher then. Currently, your CPU is able to handle the load at 60%.. This is a good thing... Try turning the details up slowly and see the difference it makes and then pick a setting that gets good fps / cpu utilization / detail... Remember that ground clutter and water will tax your system greatly, so try flying near a city and close to the ground.. I am betting your utilization will go up substantially..

Actually a well designed case will have enough fans properly placed so that it will intake air from outside and will have positive pressure (Meaning that the case is slightly pressurized) When done properly, the positive pressure inside helps keep dust out by pushing air outward thru all holes and cracks so that dust is not pulled in thru those openings. So the INTAKE fan (s) should pull slightly more air than the exhaust fans can exhaust and this causes the slight pressurization... So be sure to keep those side panels in place as well...

If that is the case, it violates the first rule of piloting and is something they pound into your head in training.. "ALWAYS fly the plane" Even when using aids you must keep track of your plane and what it is doing at all times.. Very sad event..

Yeah it is highly dependent on what else is running in the background.. (Many folks have no idea what else is running or why) I always load up with minimum 16 Gigs because it takes that aspect (memory) out of the equation.. Too many folks try running with bare minimums and then fight it constantly. The savings in cost is not worth it to me so I buy 16 minimum and have no issues..

I have no recommendations regarding Mobos right now, but you should definitely upgrade your memory... 8 Gig at the least, and if you can afford it I would get 16 since we have no idea how memory intensive EDGE will be...

It isn't real difficult to figure out if you pick a hard deck of 10,000 feet and you take off from ground level and say you are 30 MILES away from the mountains at takeoff, it is conceivable that once you reach the mountains, your hard deck is no longer valid... The real mistake here was allowing them to fly that close to the mountains in the first place...

Besides, there is no specific timetable or time limit on a BETA program.. Either you have the stomach for a BETA and everything that entails... Or you don't.. Based on the complaints in this thread, most folks here do not have the patience to go thru the BETA process and would do well to not participate and simply wait for the announcement that the module is complete... Of course that also means that you will be complaining the entire time about how long it is taking to complete the module so either way you will be unhappy.. And we have to listen to it... At least with the BETA you can actively fly the module while waiting.. And remember that no matter how much you complain it won't change the required time to complete..

Well the only thing I can say is that the only part of this statement that has any merit whatsoever is you questioning yourself whether you should buy a module.. I agree wholeheartedly that you should not buy another module and hopefully you won't waste everyone's elses time with drivel such as what you just posted... Actually not to be difficult but Double Ugly was the nickname (along with Rhino) for the F4 Phantom not the Intruder...
