YES I had ZERO interest in this module and bought it to support DCS... And I love this little plane.. :thumbup:

So what happens when the servers are down or your connection is down for whatever reason? You can't even play the game in single player mode.. Nope not going along with that idea..

OK for those folks that were getting "Unknown Module" errors like I was, try running the updater now as it pushes a new version and once loaded THEN the module will load correctly from Module Manager.. And nice module it is too! Spent about 15 minutes flying around NTTR and really love the feel and the cockpit looks awesome. Very nice first module by Razbam...

Exact same issue here.. Updated everything but the install still errors out.. Any suggestions?

Remember that the A10C was designed as a simulator specifically for use by the US military... IMHO This is a simulator first and a game 2nd.. Obviously there is all kinds of overlap , but my take is a sim first and a game 2nd.. That is why it is the only simulator on my machine..

Actually there were TWO votes for the Eurocopter Tiger.. (I requested it on the first page.) But whatever as it doesn't look like 2 votes is going to get that project going any time soon.. :( :thumbup:

Not so sure about that considering the fact that the F4 is STILL in use today and some of it's current systems are still top secret... :music_whistling:

HAWK and C-101 are excellent choices.. (And if you buy the HAWK it is very easy to fly as it has an easier flight model so you can get up to speed very quickly.) Then once the advanced flight model is finished you will receive the newer update for free so it is kind of like two planes for one.. This would allow you an easier plane to get the feel and then the more advanced flight model down the road once you are better used to things..

Maybe you would prefer pink? DCS GRADIENT maybe? WTF? :cry:

Because there were multiple versions of this aircraft and the one modelled in DCS does not have it..

I penned the following quite a while back in answer to the last guy that was complaining about trainers.. Looking back the same points are just as valid now as they were when I posted it before.. Go figure:music_whistling: So jumping into a $30 million airplane and cratering it into the ground repeatedly sounds much more realistic? For folks that are interested in realism, trainers make perfect sense so you can learn how to fly just like they do in real life... Once mastered, then you graduate to more sophisticated planes and then MAYBE you might have a chance of not crashing your brains out repeatedly.. I for one am a huge fan of the trainer philosophy and am looking forward to real flight training by VEAO systems.. (And maybe some other devs will follow suit) As far as which plane to buy..? I am buying them all once available in AFM... They will all fly differently and have their own character.. Kinda like asking what girl to take home.. Blonde, Brunette or Redhead.. They all look good to me... (But since I am married, all I can do is LOOK) LOL

There definitely is something amiss with this view in 1.5 as I get super smooth game play from the cockpit but when I switch to the F2 view things are horribly choppy and while I am able to pan, it is terribly slow and choppy... Enough so that you "chase" the view all over the place. I have simply stopped using it as it is frustrating. (CORE i5 16 megs and GTX770)

Not sure what issue you are talking about but the campaign still errors out for me when trying to install.. EDIT: Just went back in and this time it prompted me for an update and when complete, this time the campaign downloaded properly.. :thumbup:

Yep i think that may be the issue as well.. I fought withmine for the longest time and then I got up one day and noticed that the light in the other room was directly behind my head.. I shut the door to my home office and never had another issue... Make sure that there are no light sources behind you..

Yeah who cares if it is not competition for current aircraft, the damn thing is a VTOL plane! Since we aren't going to see an F-35 anytime soon, the Yak would still be a very unique and fun aircraft to fly.. I would buy one in a heartbeat.. And same for any version of Harrier as well..

I have a 12 port hub that has 2 on off rocker switches on it.. Ports 1-6 are the first switch and 7-12 the secoind one. So I plug all of my sim gear into ports 7-12 and turn them all on or off with one switch... Works great and zero issues
