  3. I'm curious how some of you virtual squadrons log flight hours for DCS. I've seen programs from groups that you logged into, input the info on a form and it tallied everything into an online spreadsheet. Any recommendations? Thanks!
  4. I think the problem lies in the lack of shadowing underneath the tanker. In VR, I can see the lights and know from experience what they're telling me, but do agree they are washed out and not clear.

  6. They left it in an unfinished state, with many errors still in place. In addition to not upgrading it with the optimizations that PG, Normandy and Caucasus received. Sad as its my favorite map, but the worst on FPS.

  8. I spent the better part of the morning with your AH-6J. It installed via OVGME perfectly. I bound my controls like a normal helicopter, without any curves for my first few flights. Lifting off, its very squirrely. It wanted to rotate backwards immediately and wanted to "fall off" if not kept perfectly centered. So I went back into the controls and used similar settings to the Gazelle, because of its size. For Pitch & Roll, I used 0 Deadzone, 100 for X, 80 for Y and a +5 Curve. For my pedals, I brought it back to -10 and again to -5, settling there. With these, I was able to maintain a stable hover, but again with some left stick and pedal to prevent it from drifting off right. As I moved into forward flight, at 80kts, I'm having to put nearly full forward cyclic to prevent the nose from going skyward. I flew around and made several transitions into a hover and landing. No VRS was encountered that I noticed and you mentioned. On the final few flights, I armed up. No noticeable effect of weight or change in the FM with weapons on board. So these were purely cosmetic but very fun. All in all, you've got the beginning of a believable helo FM. It has inertia and isnt on rails. Some trim would be nice, to overcome the excessive amount of pitch. I look forward to the next version.

  12. Livery Errors On the 13th FS, you've used the fuselage from the 52nd FW USAFE jets. The 13th is PACAF and part of the 35th FW. Also, the 14th FS skin has the patches of the 13th FS on the right intake, not the correct 14th ones. Swapping these around and correcting the number issues, shouldnt take you guys more than an hour. Details gentlemen...
  13. In the skin description file, you can change "FALSE" to "TRUE" on the decals you dont want to show.
  14. I think you're thinking of the F-5A for the tip tanks. And there is a mod.
  15. Every CBU, aside from the CBU-97, is borked. The CBU-52, Mk.20, CBU-87 and CBU-99 all have such a tiny dispersion, they're useless. This has been an issue since release of the F-5, without anything being done. Another abandon area by ED and BST.

  19. Pulling coords direct from the TPOD in TOO, the bombs are still off the mark by 1000s of yards. And against static vehicles. However, on my last bomb of 4, I targeted a building and it tracked. So why this allowed to be passed on into 2.5.6, if its been a known issue?
  20. So I'm trying to use several older skins, that were never updated by their creators. I've got them to show up, but the specular files are not included so I'm using the defaults and renaming hem according to the description luas. However, I'm still seeing them as pixelated, overly glossy and showing missing. Any ideas?
  21. Yeah, I was wondering how that is going to be implemented. Seems to be a huge missing piece for this map. I guess it'll be just a Harrier show.
  22. Has anyone encountered the JDAMs not being armed after selecting the Auto Loft option, and then switching back to Manual drop? I've been lofting mine using the profile and they've been hitting but not exploding.
  23. Specifically these two objects have disappeared after the 2.5.6 update. I ran a test mission with an AI Hornet bombing a rig with Walleyes. Nothing was visible.
  24. Pretty disappointed that The Deid never made it in. Along with Bahrain to the north. Plenty of deployment time at OTBH, but I doubt they'll expand it.
  25. Nice mod. I can see the GIF and that effect is outstanding. Much better than the default. Plans on releasing it publicly?
