The Hornet shares the same texture file for all the aux tanks, unfortunately.

I'm bumping this thread for the same issues as has been posted. I'm doing a Cold Ramp Start with set radio frequencies preloaded via the ME. In this case, 356.6 and 336.6 as presets 2 & 3 (for the tankers) in the ARC-159. Incidentally, Preset 1 is 327.5 for ATC. None work. I've used Jester to dial up ATC on the secondary ARC-182 and that works, but stil cant get the tankers to respond. So is this a bug or what??

AG radar has been on the drawing board for years. However, HB and now Deka both have theirs working. My reply was just simply stating that it appears to be more than ED can achieve at this point.

Maybe the F/A-18 was a poor choice then, if you cant deliver its full capabilities. Sticking to A-to-A aircraft might be a better plan.

The Pa-48 was a Piper built aircraft based loosely off the NA P-51. What we've got in DCS just wouldnt look the part and an entirely new 3D model would be required. However, there was a mod several years back that added some modern weapons to the P-51. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=172345&highlight=P-51 Not sure if it works anymore. It was meant as a A-1 Skyraider stand-in, ish.

General Av doesnt get the acceleration you'd require to get anything close. And I too have experience in fast jets and heavies. Sorry, but this isnt correct.

When the AB is initiated, the compass on the right panel rolls vertically, rendering it unusable. My trk file didnt save, as I was in S/P, but I did take these screen shots in VR. Notice the fuel flow and engine RPM during each to show when the issue occurs.

IR wont give any warning on RWR unless equipped with the MWS, as has been said. You need to stay above known MANPAD altitudes and watch for IR missiles coming from enemy aircraft.

To address this line, a correct DM for a trainer shows if you've done something wrong. Pranged one in on a hard landing. Clipped a wing in formation. Its the complete package, not just a partial. For many, the current state is ok. Others want the full capability. Nav via ADF is rather an important feature, along with a Kneeboard for vis Nav. If ED said this was placed on sale, AS-IS, then maybe people wouldn't expect more than what it is now. But it was sold as EA meaning it was only partially completed.

Without the T-38/F-5 formation guide, I've always used the AIM-9 rail as my reference and place the Lead's head toward the front of the rail, if not slightly in front of it. Then, place the rail slightly low along the canopy to fuselage joint. Transposes pretty well for the Hornet also.

Seems to be a trend with some of these smaller devs. So much for product support.
