  1. Callsigns in the stock game have been broken for a while now. They come out as a number (instead of the callsign/name) and then the order in the formation. Just as you've typed above. Add another to the long list of broken base stuff.
  2. Is this a new "feature" of this update? Now in any external view in VR, the grey info bar is displayed about 1/4 from the bottom of the screen. Kind of kills it. Can we turn that off?
  3. This is my photo. I took it back in 2006 and the 52nd FW PA stole it and removed my watermark and name.

  5. To solve this, since ED has allowed the skins of non-US users of the F/A-18 to be included in the base pack, having the ability to use a civilian based ILS/VORTAC/TACAN as an option. They've caved on many other non-real items, so why the push back now?
  6. I'll have to go through and test which of my skins have been broken during the various updates and release with fixes. Thanks for the interim.

  9. The trees are your issue, as with many others. Reducing the number drawn makes the terrain look empty and unlike Normandy. Leaving them in, drops FPS. This is the major complaint with the map.

  12. I noticed last night that between 400-300 knots, the jet will shimmy and yaw, uncommanded. Sim mode, not game. I'll try and replicate and post a track file.
  13. Yeah, I noticed it while flying off my squadmate's wing the other night and again last night behind the KC-130. Also the basket didnt bounce much, if any. Still a nice added challenge.
  14. Parade formation in the Hornet takes allot more work now, with the inclusion of turbulence. I'm loving the effect. Bravo!
  15. One day, you'll be on the receiving end of a broken product that did not meet standards and you couldnt use it as is. The builder will say, but its complete. Then, you'll understand how we've been feeling.
  16. Feature complete? You mean buildings, terrain detail, etc... Ok sure, but thats not what I said. Having FPS at a usable level, by your own published specs btw, is not a "feature". Its a service obligation. Normandy wasn't properly optimized and had plenty of people post up how poorly it ran. But yet it sat, untouched, until now. I'll be happy to see what all changes. It will determine whether or not I purchase Syria.
  17. I wish the word "Free" would stop being thrown around like they're doing us a favor. Its called Product Support. It wasn't kept current or to a usable level where the DCS specs allowed it to have decent FPS.
  18. Based on their previous work and lack of commitment to making their sole product properly usable (FPS), I wont be purchasing the Syria map.
  19. :thumbup: Your objects pack make the NTTR map. Without it, its just Nevada. I use your 60s and 70s series range templates to create training for our guys and is outstanding. I wish they'd implement it into the stock library.
  20. NOT A BUG. Seem the new EDM thing has broken several objects from various mod packs that were being used to complement the default objects.

  22. Yeah the first time, I wasnt locked, only uncaged to search for a target. It just didnt zoom in. Went back and re-flew a mission, worked fine. So just a temp thing. Sorry to cause a stir.

  24. Sorry, my mistake. I was following my bomb via F6 and when I saw that it hit where a vehicle should have been, I used F7 and saw the other vehicles. But the static vehicles arent visible.
