We dont use a 60 degree turn during Air Refueling. Even tactical arrivals are limited to 60 degree banks. That "wifferdill" with the B-52 was a CFIC (Instructor course) to demonstrate a controlled minimum G maneuver. But not used in practice. Typically a racetrack is flown with 15 degree banks, depending on airspace.

Yes, but they wont fire. The necessary weapons LUA file for the F-5 is locked. If it could be edited, you could make the jet recognize the additional two AIM-9 wired hard-points on the outer wings. I experimented with it a few years ago and could never get beyond them showing visually, but unusable.

Love the metal color on the fuselage. I've always wanted for the USAF Thunderbirds to go retro and use a metal dope base (like yours), with the red, white and blue scallops and Tbird on the belly. Much like the F-100 and F-105. The white base is boring now. Paint the #4 jet's tail with a black smoke stain.

The aircraft is so simple to start manually, just click through and bypass the auto-start omission.

The guys from the F/A-18E/F/G seem to have done ok. I'm not sure where their model came from, but it seems to have been compatible. Source a 3D model from the same author and go from there. Again, ED isnt saying its on their radar, so the community may need to step in as an interim. Look at the Military Aircraft Mod. Commercial off the shelf models and they seem to interact ok.

Ding ding. I believe we'll start seeing more of these updates becoming DLC. Granted, what is being added to the A-10C are a new and proper HMD that wasnt fielded yet when the original DCS C-model was released. But the Ka-50, I dont agree how its being handled. Long standing bugs fixed only as a DLC.

Pretty sad, when the carrier from years ago, still works. It's replacement and latest CVs, are still MIA.

Is that Single Player mode or M/P? Online last night, I attacked a Soviet FFG to follow-up a Harpoon strike. The Mk.20 VTs were set to 300ft but they opened at 50ft and dispersion was terrible. There seems to be a huge problem with this, in between S/P and M/P. Getting ED to test in M/P to confirm for themselves, doesnt appear to be an option.

ED has many "plans". So do I. Not all of them will come to light in this lifetime. And I fully understand its not as easy as copy and paste in a new 3D model. But if people want it now, as we do interact with it frequently, then taking it upon themselves might be the quicker solution.

At this point, you'll be better off buying a commercial 3D model of the S-3 and adding it as a mod. Much like the Military Aircraft Mod guys did. ED is content with their LOMAC era AI air assets. But hey, we've got cows...

Without pre-purchasing it in EA, there would be no SC. They need those $$ to continue development. Do some researching, they've admitted it. So you and your buddies can handle the dev costs when we stop pre-purchasing? Good luck with that.

Likely this will be ignored too, as they've washed their hands of NTTR. But there are so many parking and spawning errors throughout the map, its stunning. At Nellis, the entire Golf live weapons parking row, are backwards. They should point East, not West. The south/west ramp is the Green Flag ramp (155 on) and only has the 4-5 spots facing East. The EOR just east of that, isnt parking, but roll through spots. When they moved on and left it unoptimised with so many errors, its another sign of the lack of follow-up they do.

Maybe this is different in Russia, but when you begin taking money for a product, then it becomes a job. Main or side, not my problem. He has an obligation to support the product within a reasonable amount of time. As is pointed out here, he has gone past what people see as that reasonable amount of time. Because this game continues to enable that business model, its customers are frustrated.

You answered your question with that last line. Sell Additional DLC... Neglect something long enough so that when you decide to revisit it, they'll throw money at anything. Seems to be the common thread here. They have an obligation to support their current products so that they function without fail, under the current version. As has been stated with examples, the F-5 has not been properly maintained since its release. I'd wager it'll eventually get a makeover, but at a price. Despite the fact its had known broken areas and faults for a long time. Absorbing BST was one of the worst deals for us, the customer.

Remember the next time you look to buy anything from this dev. It wont be supported after release.
