Raid level should not be relevant though basic system info would be: Go to the shortcut you use to start lockon with and right click on it (Alternate click) Click "properties". Copy the target line from the properties dialog box. Example "c:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\lockon.exe" Now start hyperlobby and at the top of the interface where it says "player list" click the dot and click "Connect/Select Game" Now click the "Disconnect" buttton. Select the game "Lock On Modern Air Combat" from the list. Now hold down the left ctrl and left shft buttons and click connect. In the game path dialog paste in your game path including the exe without the quotes. c:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\lockon.exe Then click save and you should be good to go. If under Windows 7 or Vista 64 and installed to default path try UAC disabled and admin rights. I hope this is of some help. Out

Looking for suggestions. Here is my setup: One 28" monitor center, two 22" monitors sides. GTX-275 driving 28" and left 22" while a 9800GT is driving the right 22". I am also running a notebook on the network that has a 17" touchscreen overlay on a secondary 17" flat panel connected to it. I would like suggestions on setup in this config. I think I like the idea of 28" as cockpit and one 22" side as camera/abris. I want something really effective on the touch screen for controlling everything quickly. Should not run in any compatibility mode under Win7 for Lockon. Sounds like you have a screwed up install. Windows 7 is essentially just a rebrand of Vista with some small changes but even though I also like it much more then Vista. Best of Luck with the install. Although not confirmed by official sources, these objects are believed to be a form of unknown technology. Now the world is re-writing its history books. Very recently strange vibrations were detected beneath the ruins. The shocking part was that the patterns in these vibrations were artificial in nature and even contained a message. I was under the impression that the CH split throttle was not a consumer level HOTAS and that it may not be available to the public. So why list it along side of all these other products that will be consumer level? Apples to oranges? Will the CH be a consumer product or not? Any one of you CH guys have the scoop on that? Would love to know. It is great to see so much happening with controllers out there. Oh and surprise! The armed forces complain about their hardware....no this can't be true. Out

The good old hat switch still works a treat if you must. TIR is excellent and highly recommended but not a requirement in the least. Out

The TFS3 is just around the corner and will be free to the owners of the TFS2 which is good. Even without specific title support using what we now have available IMHO the ivibe is still a beter choice then the buttkicker. With title support using FSX or rFactor as examples it is incredible. I am certainly hoping for the continued development of this product. I have to take the fact that Craig is now producing a version 3 of the hardware as a very good sign. Out

Update: Returned the Asus and went with an EVGA P-55 FTW (LOTES Socket) to avoid the foxconn issue. Also one of the mushkin sticks failed and I returned them as well. I replaced it with 8GB of GSkill Trident DDR3-2000 I only have 4GB installed while I test the OC. So far it rocks pretty good. Got the i860 to 4.2GHz See screenshot. Out

I am one of the many beta testers and even though Windows 7 was not available to test the patch on it runs perfectly well under Windows 7 x86 and x64 environments. No compatibility modes needed AFAIK. Should be installed under admin as you say though. Your issues are likely to be related to some other problem with your machine or your install etc. Out

Make sure you are logged in under the same account you purchased under. The files section is towards the top left not the one under the FAQ section. Did the purchase appear to go through>? You should see the serial right next to the picture of the box product on that page. Out

Login to the website where you purchased. Click "Files" on left then "products" in the middle and It will be displayed there. Out

Could be many possible reasons. Some ideas....... First uninstall Lockon completely and remove any left over folders. (Remember to save any missions/tracks/screenshots you want to keep) Preperation: 1: If you are Overclocking bring your system back to stock for testing purposes. 2: Get and update to the latest BIOS for your motherboard (If needed) 3: Run disk maintenance (chkdsk and defrag) 4: Make sure the following divers are up to date: DirectX Chipset Video Sound NIC These are instructions for installing LockOn flaming Cliffs and modifying it for a much more visually pleasing experience. This install along with these mods requires a reasonably modern, stable and powerful system with a good fast CPU, 2GB+ memory and a decent Graphics card to run well. If you have a slower system you may leave out the Mods instructions. This will still yield a nice orderly LockOn install complete with backup. These instructions are intended for use on a new clean install. All information is provided as is and you undertake it at your own risk. I take no responsibility for trashed systems or screwed up installs. If you choose to attempt the mod section with an existing install your results may vary, particularly if you have any MODS installed. I am merely posting this as a guide that works well for myself and many others in the 104th. 1: Install Lock On (If under Vista/Win7 install with admin rights and UAC disabled or withfull read/write access to the game directory, consider install outside of program files directory ie; "C:\Games\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\") 2: Install Flaming Cliffs (If FC DL version also install the all seasons terrain.) 3: Install the correct Flaming cliffs 1.12 patch for your version CD or DL. (Available at Lockon.ru). 4: Windows Vista or Windows 7 users should Install the latest Starforce Driver update (SFUpdate) here then reboot.) http://www.star-force.com/support/drivers/ 5: Enter the game and configure your HOTAS, Sound and Graphics options. (Under Vista/7 x64 OS you will need to use Creative Alchemy or a similar utility for your specific sound card for proper audio) 6: Back up the entire Lock On folder (Make a copy of the LockOn folder. Rar or zip is also fine). This marks the end of the vanilla install. From here forward are optional Utility and MOD installation instructions. Most of the mods listed below can be found at www.Lockonfiles.com and our own websites download section www.104thphoenix.com 7: Install LoCFG tweak app. (this app allows you to easily set up many of the graphics settings for LockOn including resolutions and aspect ratios for wide screens as well as backup many vital files for safe keeping including input and graphics settings). 8: Install Modman 7.1.1.0 (This most excellent app simplifies the install of many LockOn Mods. It is required to install all non "exe" mods listed below) 9: Install Walmis F-15 model (exe) 10: Install updated weapons for Walmis F-15 Model (modman) 11: Install conformal fuel tanks F-15 (modman) 12: Install Simmod A-10A (modman pack) 13: Install Simmod A10A + Walmis F-15 + Walmis weapons compatibility pack (modman) (included in the above package (unrar to get all the compatibility packs)). 14: Install Su-27 3GO mod (exe). 15: Do a quick fly in each of the above listed AC. F-15, A10A, and Su-27. Make sure you can see the new models on each AC from external view. 16: From here I install my 104th v1.5 squad specific skins made by Ruggbutt and Aero, through modman. You can get many non squad specific skins at lockonfiles.com) Terrain mods next: 17: Install LOReload B1 (Modman). 18: Install Enhanced terrain by Ruggbutt. (Modman) 19: Install Enhanced buildings by Ruggbutt. (Modman) Multiplayer and communication 20: If planning on Multiplayer install Hyperlobby and Team speak and configure for use.
