  5. Agreed. I find this by far the easiest way to trim. Not at all sure if it is "correct" or not. But while manuvering I hold the trim button in and when I get to the desired attitude I release it. Out
  6. Aero's animation answers this question. Nice work Aero! Out
  7. The case looks highly functional and really great if you are going to go with the liquid cooling system shown but IMHO it is an ugly looking thing with lots of fiddly little bits that you may lose and never get replaced. So I think it is cool, functional, and butt ugly.;) Out
  8. The 104th Phoenix is recruiting members for both Black Shark and Lock On. We have our own dedicated servers for both running 24/7. If you are interested in either please visit our website forums and fill out an application. www.104thPhoenix.com We are currently building the training section for our Black Shark wing now. This will consist of missions that check out cadets on all fundamental aspects including basic flight, navigation, communication, data link, and weapons delivery. Once cadets learn these aspects and are tested and then passed they are allowed to become a full member of the 104th and can move on to study of more intricate aspects of the Black Shark's systems and advanced cooperative tactics. If this sounds interesting to you please stop by our Teamspeak server and have a chat with Manawar and myself. We are usually there evenings EST. IP Address: 64.34.169.148:8056 Password: phoenix You must use Push to talk on our Teamspeak server. Do not forget to set up a key bind for it. Please introduce yourself if it’s your first time joining our teamspeak server. Out
  9. Yes. Problem 1 (Solution): Use Alchemy or similar program for your sound card. Problem 2 (My take): I have less crashes under 7 with Lockon then I ever had with XP. This sounds like it may be just your particular setup. Perhaps an affinity fix or the graphics/game settings need to be re adjusted or tweaked etc. Problem 3 (Not sure): I can not speak to this one but I have no issues with a Cougar and simped vario pro w/toe brakes rudders. 13. There is no specific incompatibility here. This would most likely have to be a system issue specific to you or your configuration. I suspect bad/improperly configured hardware or drivers may be the problem from what you describe. If the issues are sound related try moving your sound card to a different slot on MB. also make sure you have the latest drivers for all devices. Panzertard knows his stuff as does EtherealN. Heed their words and try all they suggest. I am running Black Shark under Win7 x64 with an X-FI card. I don't use Alchemy at all as it I do not believe it is required for Black Shark. I use it for LockOn but not Black Shark. Latest drivers for my Fatility pro, no issues. Best of Luck! Out

  22. It sounds like you need to work on your joystick curves within the game options. I suggest you alter the x and y axis curves a little and see if you can find the feel you are looking for. I think you probably will. In the 25/25T you should use a pure linear setting (no curve) on X and Y axis as that is the best way to experience the flight model. After power on you need to let the HSI needle completely settle to a stopped position before starting other systems or it will be inaccurate for the flight. Remember Lock On was developed before widescreen monitors were the norm. If you enter the options in the game for any reason any widescreen aspect ratio reverts to default. Once you have your in game options for input, graphics, sounds, difficulty etc. then just set the desired aspect ratio in the Graphics.cfg last, save and close and you are good to go. You can alternatively set the Graphics.cfg file as read only. I just use the LoCFG tweak app. If I change anything in game options I use the app to reset the aspect before running the sim again. I am simply happy I can use the proper aspect ratio with only such a minor inconvenience. Once you have the sim setup just to your liking it becomes a non issue fast. Out
  23. Or get with the program and buy a TIR!;) Out
