  1. It's currently available for me, not sure why it's not showing up for you.
  2. That would explain why there is shake while stationary but smooths out when you start moving instead of the original severe shake after throttling up on takeoff roll. My friend said we were cold in the cockpit... he was closer than I thought.
  3. I was having a similar issue in 1.5.3 with AI JTAC and player a A-10C, also. I would drop around 12k feet and it would just drift and not track. Perhaps a laser code issue? The JTAC called 1688 and the A-10C had that as well. I didn't voice anything about it because I wanted to research it more but this post is relevant.

This would be a blast! Pun intended :pilotfly: I'm looking forward to some A-10C FAC and Mirage bomb truck fun, myself.
  5. Your constant clarification and freedom of information has me hooked on your products. I picked up the Mirage because it looked nice, it is now among my favorite ships in the fleet. Thank you.
  6. I watch that original compilation each time before I fire up the M2K and your video hit each mark like I was watching the same clip. Absolutely wonderful recreation! Honestly got chills from the similarities.
  7. Sure, I'll put my dream sheet in: A-4M Skyhawk (personal reasons, but any version of Heinemann's hot rod will do) Mirage 2000D A-6 Intruder F-4 Phantom
  8. Like I mentioned, I totally agree and I'll be adding this mod to my game, it looks fantastic.

Here is a great tutorial for that alignment: [ame] [/ame]
  10. I agree, the Navs in DCS are too much, however, I want to make sure you're not being mislead by this statement. All aircraft must have position lights to assist in visual separation, ICAO governs this requirement. By having a red light on the left wing, it shows oncoming aircraft from the left that they must yeild. Just because they're military aircraft doesn't make them any different. However, they do have a low intensity option that most civil aircraft do not and if they do not wish to be seen in a tactical environment, they will turn them off.
  11. That brings up another possible addition. Change bars along the side of updated paragraphs and lines would bring attention to the differences since the previous revision. That way, if something has been changed we wouldn't have to skim the entire manual looking for something that is different than how we initially learned it, it would stand out. Just a suggestion.
  12. I said across her nose, not up it!
  13. Climb profile to intercept a target after a scramble takeoff. I extracted the data from paragraphs 202-205 in the MiG-21bis manual that was posted somewhere on this forum. My search is failing me but this post contains an excerpt of that section. As for GCI, I haven't made one myself but a squadmate of mine has put it into our practice mission so I know that there is a way. I've flown several B-52 intercepts from a cold ramp start with my squadron.
  14. No worries, glad you like it.
  15. I've updated the two booklet printed versions to include the intercept takeoff regimes for both afterburner and full throttle settings. I also created a larger font, smaller page version that is intended for use with the in-game kneeboard. It should work well with AlaskanGrizzly's DCS Kneeboard Builder. Though I have yet to try it out, personally. Let me know if anyone has any issues.
  16. I'm quite removed from my computer and haven't had a chance to fly the current release but do you have the SPRD cover open?
  17. Ovy!!! Welcome to the MiG-21! Hopefully someday I can wing up with you again on a weekend, sir. It's a bit different than the A6Ms we flew before.
  18. I'm sure it will come down to licensing fees to the owners of the soundtrack. However, I'm all for the full cheese of the guitar theme and if the one LNS picks doesn't give me chills, I'll mod my install :pilotfly:
  19. No slight intended to the OP but these sarcastic thoughts came immediately to mind: What about a canopy ajar or fasten ejection seat belt ding?
  20. Haha, that was great, thank you!
  21. Typo in the warning box on the B&W version: "Engine stat," corrected it to "Engine start." Corrected the dates on the B&W version.
  22. I created tables to replace the images of the warning panels on the last page and removed the background watermark. The pdf is saved in grayscale so it should look that way coming out of the printer. Very fine point you've made and I hope that I have provided a suitable alternative. It is attached to the original post. The cover page's date doesn't match the header/footer date... I'll correct it in a later revision as I see it as a minor typo.
  23. Ah, good point, I'll get a B&W one generated up.
  24. A few of us over at JG-1 have developed the following checklist for the MiG-21. It is made so it can be printed in a booklet form and use one page, front and back, and then folded for simplicity. I will be laminating mine now that the revisions will be farther apart. I took this formatting inspiration from my flying club's DA-40 checklist :pilotfly: This checklist is based on the game release manual with a few additions from previous checklists for DCS and what I thought would be commonly used actions. There is a bit of subjective input within this checklist and I'm sure that there will be criticism from the pilots here, that is actually why I've made it public. Please voice your suggestions below and I will take each one under consideration for revision. I kept the emergency procedures very short, as I don't see these in my normal DCS life. If additions are necessary, the cover page can be removed making another page available for text. I do intend to keep it within four booklet pages, though. 29.6.15: Added black and white version. 30.6.15: Corrected date and typo in warnings table. 8.7.16: Added intercept regimes and created in-game kneeboard version. Intended to work with AlaskanGrizzly's DCS Kneeboard Builder. 20.2.18: Added SPRD and Pitot Heat switches to preflight. 22.2.18: Corrected title alignment on 4 page booklet. 25. Fair enough, thank you for answering. By the way, my phonetic understanding of Cyrillic didn't let me down on the rheostat :smilewink:
