I'm speculating that your native language is Russian due to the location listed in your profile. With that in mind, I am genuinely curious as to why a manual for an aircraft, built by Russian engineers, would be easier to understand in English than in Russian? Of course, if you're talking about the simplified game manual, I can certainly understand where English may be easier.

I'm just going to chime in with another thank you, Chuck! Simply an amazing piece of work, broken down so anyone can understand it. I love the added humor, too.

Perhaps there is something lost between the languages but it seems that you're looking for proof-of-life on a jewel case with a DVD that has yet to be burned. Neil has a fine point about the code still being a beta.

Is the ASP switch on in the right panel, near the Gun Camera switch? Bottom row of black ones. I just flew two days ago and had no issues with the Fix Net or the Pipper.

One of my squad mates says to turn the battery on prior to engine start. It sounds like a bug that isn't present in single player but it is in multiplayer.

Sure thing. I completely forgot how DCS saved MP Tracks. Here is one from last night. I have a longer one where I'm the client on one server but the file is too large. This one is after we saw the MiG-15 not start for myself or my friend on my friend's hosted mission, here I'm alone on my server. One thing to note is that both of us were running the same mission, we looked for planned failures in the editor and didn't see any. This has occurred to other pilots, client and host alike, on our mission but not to everyone. We see up to 2 out of 5 pilots get this failure but not every time. In this track I attempt two starts on my own then attempt an auto start. server-20150308-003255.trk

We've had a few instances of this as well while flying in MP. Are there further ideas of why this isn't working consistently?

Pulse command would only blip the wheel brake once even if you hold the key down, it's not a latching lever. Stay with the option where you hold the key/button and the command is repeated, if you let go, it stops.

I can only speculate from the photo but I believe the airbrake control on the throttle is a two position switch, similar to the A-10. This would have two commands. I do think you guys are right asking for a toggle option but I don't think it's an argument of realism.

I'm not sure what I've been doing wrong but I'm having issues getting the MiG over Mach 1.1 when I'm clean.

I found my MP mission radios to be off by one preset from what my SP tutorials use with the same settings in the aircraft ME radio presets. For example, Krymsk is 124.00 and preset 10 in the tutorials but 9 works in my MP mission, both .miz files show preset 09 to be 124.00.

I'm sure there is a fair amount of people that want these touches removed. I, however, applaud the detail that LS put into the aircraft, making it look well used and not pampered.

In short, no it isn't supposed to land with heavy loads. Here's an excerpt from page 32-34 in the Manual:

As always, I love your videos. You have a simple way of explaining things to the lowest common denominator. In my line of work, we call it "Breaking it down, Barney style." And it works. This range you use, is it a publicly available mission? Is it already in Georgia and I just don't know about it?

Your pitch is going to change, but you can maintain altitude if you do what Exorcet says. Also, use rudder to coordinate your roll.

I kicked in to the level of the printed manual and for whatever reason I expected it to be a recreation of a WWII manual. Since it's just a modern manual for the game, I wouldn't mind not having a physical copy. On September 12th, 2013 they updated the reward tiers to include a t-shirt at my level of backing, I was pleasantly surprised. However, if the money could better used elsewhere, I fully understand and I don't really need another t-shirt in my closet.

Chair, did you try to assign the axis for the rudder by using the dropdown box instead of pushing them? In the assign box where the axis would pop up, click the down arrow and pick it from there.

Habu, We took a pair of A-10Cs from Pig flight (4 slot with voice over JTAC) and had no issues over the target. The sequence continued as soon as all the targets were destroyed from the first call. Works great!

The one we hit the mortar target and killed everything on the hilltop was the two ship slot and the first was one of the four ships and the enemy was in the tree lines. There is a reasonable possibility that someone got away in the trees, the firefight stopped and we couldn't find anyone with the TGP. We'll have to give it another shot, which I look forward to!:pilotfly:
