If you think about it, an airbase that would rearm you wouldn't be neutral.
To be neutral means not taking sides. Only friendly air bases (same color) can re-arm.
Congrats,
Great feeling the first time you hear "You're taking fuel"
Even better when you manage to fill the tank
The first several times I succeeded I felt like I ran a marathon. Each time you get more tense and it gets a little easier.
your specs are decent. You can verify them by clicking start then run and typing Dxdiag and hit enter.
You won't be able to run everything on high but definitely in the mid range for sure.
This link might help.

If you haven't trimed the A-10 then you are constantly fighting it.
You should be able to let go of the stick and have the plane continue with little or no drift. Try it out and you will probably find it much easier to fly and control.
Auto pilot will usually work if you hold the stick to get the vertical velocity and angle in range.
I usually turn on the apu and generator before landing. Just one less thing to do when I get on the ground.
Also once the countdown timer starts you can refuel and reload.
That way you are ready to go once the repair is completed.
Yes the HOTAS is bothe the throttle and stick (Hands On Throttle And Stick)
With the X52/pro the 2 are connected to each other with a cable. Some setups such as the warthog each have a separate USB connection. Those setups allow you to mix the stick from one brand with the throttle of another. Either way you would typically have one on each side of you so that both hands are used.
Trackir uses an IR camera and I have never seen it used for anything else but tracking ir lighting.
If you don't wear a headset then the track clip is pretty much not an option. You may want to try out a few different headsets at your local supplier. You might find one that feels good. I started using them to avoid anoying my wife years ago, thus giving me more play time.
The hat clip works fine. It reflects light emited from the trackir unit. The track clip pro does a better job and of course removes the need for the hat. Most simmers tend to use headsets so the later is the better choice for them.
Dumb question but have you ever used teamspeak before?
if not did you set it up for a known channel?
There are many servers with teamspeak. if one is empty try another.
When you click on the dcs server sometimes they.ll list the teamspeak channel
Congrats on getting your new toys
Wonder what she wants in return or already bought
You will be more than happy with both products and they are compatible with windows 7 64 bit. Make sure you pick up the trackclip pro for the trackir.
Don't think he meant he was running 32 bit os but wanted to know if things will get better when the game becomes 64 bit only.
To the OP, That remains to be seen. Best thing to do is experiment with your settings. While you can get good results with your set-up you won't be able to max-out on settings.
Simple enough
Just hit Alt and the Apostrophe Key the same time.
You can customize from there.
Another thing you can do is select one of the standard loadouts that is closest to yours. Then you can just adjust the hardpoints before loading.
Free training and the first thing you do is turn it down/
That's the best way to start flying on-line with people.
People that put in the time to learn how to do things right won't always fly with you until they know you're not going to do something like kill friendlies, take off from the taxiway, or generally get them shot down. I would take up their offer or anyone elses. It's a good way to meet them and could wind up being exactly what you are looking for.

Only one more thing to add. If you truly intend on learning the A-10C, forget CA for now. The A-10 will be a full time job for quite a while. In the end it will be rewarding though.
Go to the download section and get a refueling mission. Takes more practice than anything else in the game. It's also very rewarding when you get the hang of it.
