I didn't mean it as hard/easy, but in terms of quantity. Study simulation is hardcore no matter what the period is.
It would be like saying that B-17 and a P-51 would be the same amount of work to simulate. It's not that P-51 would be easier, it's just that B-17 is the same level of work, just a couple of times more of it.
So you have the propeller instead of a turbine/jet engine. Jets have hydraulic bends too I guess :)
AFM would be AFM. Now what about hydraulic systems, jet has more. Electric systems, jet has more. Weapons systems, jet has more. Defense systems, jet has more. Radar, HUD, backup systems, weapons, missile AFM, etc, etc. Way, way more coding in terms of quantity, not quality.
Just saying... but we'll see soon. How long it takes for a jet, and how long for a WWII plane.
