  1. But why? Even going against an infantry platoon with their machineguns would be suicidal. For that reason the Tiger was build... Agree to Jester, maybe you show us what you mean... I don't see a bug here... Maybe a wishlist item.
  2. So definitely a general AI thing. No Gazelle bug. A normal 7.62 round would be deadly because even the L is far away from something called gunship.

  6. They don't fly the Gazelle M nor L in the version we have in DCS :music_whistling: But thanks for your open communication Polychop. Some other developers don't even reply to the community.
  7. I have serious doubts that the russian Air Force will be more cooperative than the US Navy. If I remember correctly one moderator or ED employee said some years ago this is the main reason why we will never see a modern russian fighter in full fidelity in DCS.
  8. Maybe you guys could attach a track. I never experienced the roll effect with symmetric loadouts. I calibrated my Warthog Hotas last time when I plugged it in 3 years ago.
  9. Hm, sure but let me show you this: UH-1H on the Normandy map at 1000ft and 0kts. Dropped collective to zero, made a minor correction on the cyclic to prevent foward speed und descended like a stone. Raised collective instantly at 35feet and not only recovered the helo before touchdown but he popped up like a rocket and needed 2 seconds to get him down again. Track and tacview attached... How you would call this? I don't deny that there is some work left on the FM but I never saw such things coming up in the Huey forum and it seems to me that there are some people on something like a little crusade against handpicked developers. I monitored this threads the last year very carefully and decided to keep quite but since for some people the glass is always half empty even if the developers acknowledge (and patch!!!) their modules this had to be said. BTW show me the pilot who would do such a stupid test like I did and Holbeach also referenced to in RL. I'm only a fixed wing spare time pilot but I personally know nobody who would risk ending in a burning hole for this.
  10. Sorry but in which world this is a similar outcome? You give no numbers for the after part and the except list has at least 3 points different from before... I won't start commenting the other stuff since FM is WIP and I have no idea what you wan't to show with some of these tests.

  14. Isn't 29kts not the official top speed of the Kuznetsov? But interesting that the ME allows a higher value. I assume headwind is not taken into account...
  15. You wouldn't make a lot of people happy since it depends on season, daylight and presence of algae. So a very subjective matter...

  17. Hmmm, not in my version. I also failed to get the blocks working. BTW when pressing U my plane jumps to the right ramp starting position no matter where I was before. Takeoff permission simply get's the blast deflector working but that is also done by the "U" key....

  20. After watching the really fantastic looking comparism screens of Batumi one thing came to my mind... Will we get updates for the campaigns (mostly payware) after the new terrain arrived? Especially with changed building positions, a lot of more trees and a changed heightmap in the mountains I would expect some issues with existing A/G campaigns. I'm aware that it is in the hands of each single developer if they go over their work again but maybe an ED statement for their official campaigns could be a leading example :smartass:

  22. And as Helljumper tested for you one page ago it was 47 vs 50 fps on his system. There is no miracle behind it. All that was said by winter was that it is the most demanding on his computer. It can mean anything from 1fps less to 100. Btw he also didn't posted his specs. EDIT: Here from my system. Empty map, Batumi parking hot.
  23. You don't get it. There is no issue if your hardware is up to date or at least decent. For me there are less than 4fps difference between M2000 and Gazelle. Telling the developers their pits should use the same no of triangles is like telling GM, Ford and Pontiac to use identical interiors in all of their cars.... The point remains. You are well below minimum specs. Otherwise you would not have to post here. Simply no bug...
  24. No simply not. Why should they keep developers to a low standard? A lot of the current pits look much better than the Shark pit. As time goes on the effects and clouds will also be updated and I think nobody is so green to believe it will improve fps. As DCS developes the Hardware also developes and there is defenitely no reason to complain about fps with a video card below minimum specs no matter if some other modules are running. Some other companies wouldn't even reply to such posts but at least you could try to stay polite...
