  1. Ich glaube du verstehst da was falsch. Man kann auch DCS 1.5 offline spielen nur zur Installation brauchst du eine online Verbindung. ABER: Es gibt keine kostenlose UH-1 Huey... Nur die TF-51 und die Su-25T sind free to Play.
  2. And welcome to the problems.. I followed this thread over weeks and everybody has another idea of which version with which weapons should be made. I stopped counting at 8 versions... How should do ED this? Hm wait, a module with 10 subversions for 400 bucks :megalol: If you choose one model you will disappoint many fans of the other versions (and countries). Remember the numerous demands in the LNS forums for more modern MiG-21 versions. I can only speculate what the developers have in mind but I won't touch such a tricky subject
  3. Even if ED would take into account to produce a seperate module the question would be how much is known about the 29K that can be used for flight modeling, avionics and weapon systems. Since it has new engines, colour mfd's, a new radar (with terrain mapping) and the ability to carry reconnaissance pods it would be a huge amount of work (if even possible) to get this done right. For a reason I don't understand, the russian military is less chat happy then their counterparts in the west when it goes into detail :music_whistling:
  5. Thanks, will take a look as soon as I'm home.
  6. Hey John, would you be so kind to post the mission you used for your video? I have tried several approaches to deal with the tanker speed up and it would be nice to see your settings. What I have done so far: 1. Tanker at 300kts (actually flying 241kts) going into Orbit mode with 300kts (241kts). When cleared contact he accelerates to more than 350kts. I have done it with the S-3, IL-78 and KC-135. 2. Tanker at 300kts (actually flying 241kts) flying from WP1 to WP2 with the command to switch back to WP 1 (like in Rlaxoxo's design). Same behaviour like above when cleared for contact... Speeds were set to 300kts fixed in the normal waypoint options and under advanced options where possible.
  7. I have a mostly fluid gaming experience. Micro stutters were present in some 2.0 areas with lots of ground clutter when the framerate jumped between 120 and 80. I got rid of this problem by enforcing adaptive Vsync in the driver options and putting DCS in real Fullscreen by Alt+Return.
  8. Ok I will take a look into it on my old system. One question, maybe it is related to national sale strategies but I was not able to find a GTX 670 with 3GB Ram. Can you confirm this value or are we speaking about the GTX 670 Mobile with 3GB? Even the 680 is only equipped with 2GB...
  9. Sorry but you can't complain about the game without telling us what your problem is. You gave no information about your system, your graphic settings, your GPU settings or your framrate. There are still optimization possibilities but I think most players achieve a playable experience if they don't max out the graphic sliders.
  10. Nope, 2.0.1.49921.15 is still the actual version according to the updater.
  11. You could try this with the FW-190 and see what will happen :music_whistling: As Flamin Squirrel said, if you bleed all your energy the plane stalls faster then you can say "eject". If you think your problems are related to a FM issue it would be better to attach a track. It would it make easier for us to understand your issue...
  12. I think I see what you mean. I'm afraid that there is little chance to see something you requested. Imagine a campaign mission where your instructor guides you through CDU usage. At least one hour complete with voiceovers... If ED would produce such a campaign one day we would have to dive deep into our wallets :music_whistling:
  13. I can confirm these observations. Created a custom mission with an enroute speed of 300kts @ 12k feet. Closing in worked fine, he seems to hold the speed more or less but when I was "cleared contact" he hit the gas. I stopped the chase after he passed 370 kts. "He" was a IL-78 while I flew a M2000C. Build 1.5.3 Maybe I find time to test it with an A-10 this evening. UPDATE: Tested with the KC-135 and A-10C as receiver, works fine.
  14. You are right on that but you also get the campaign as single missions with additional explanations to prepare for the check rides. Additionally you can take a look at the excellent Videos of Recon Stewart for guidance and will get all information about subsystem management to complete the campaigns. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=reconstewart
  15. You didn't get it but I have to accept it. So please try to read first next time you encounter problems that will save you from complaining and pain. And why this happened, yeah believe him or not...
  16. I'm not saying that activation problems are your fault. I have lost two activations this week and got 2 back from LNS so no problem at all. What I try to communicate is that many of us are using a beta client. This is something that is coupled with getting problems sooner or later, something many people don't think about when installing it. People that took part in tbe whole beta process since release know that there were always problems with the activation system. These problems were solved. There is no problem with the code or anything else. This happened due to an error made by a human and Cobra apologized for it. What I try to say is that when you take part in a beta test you should also have the time to check the forum to react early if some serious bugs sneaked into a version. In this case a short look even before you could download the 1.5.3 update would have you informed that there was a problem in activating the module. As said I also used two activations, knowingly because I wanted to test 1.5.3. If I'm encountering any showstopping bugs like this my first step is stopping all DCS activity and check the forums. There is simply no need to activate a module 5 times and watching the counts drop. My advice for all you beta testers would be that you simply take a short look into a changelog or the according bug forum before you hit the uodate button. I'm no know-it-all. My intention behind this post is to save you from some of my experiences in the last years which included re-installations and hour-long re-assigning of keystrokes.
  17. Then there is something wrong on your system. Since Friday the official stable client is 1.5.3 and not 1.5.2. After activating the Mig there everything should be working fine in 1.5.3 stable and 2.0.1 open Alpha. Without another update to the Beta Client from ED there is no need to use this client. There was no update on Friday to the beta Client which could still contain the files leading to continued activations. As a future tip (I learned it this way too) you should always take a look in the according bug-forum whenever you are asked for an activation. In most cases you get a hint or a guide to prevent further trouble.
  18. A bit more precise please? Module, mission, your system specs, crash log or anything else helpful.
  19. The MiG 21 is playable on both maps. There was a problem regarding the last beta patch, not more. Honestly it makes little sense at this time to stay on the 1.5.x beta. Since the first stable release of 1.5 the beta phases are very short (2-3 days this week) before the stable client is updated. Last but not least it will be the beta patches which burn your activations if something goes wrong.
  20. Here you go. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/world/stable/ Using the Beta Client won't make sense until ED loads the next update...
  21. One question. Are you guys still using the Beta Client instead of the updated stable Client with 1.5.3 as I would assume from your postings?
  22. No issues on my end. What are your shadow settings?
  23. Nobody has to spend every free minute at the forums but a small look would be wise before you burn 5 activations don't you think so? Also as Aeons said (thanks for that!) this issue was even known before the beta patch went live. And yes, I read the changelogs before I load an Alpha or beta patch which could possibly corrupt my install since I also use three instances of DCS and learned it the hard way. Currently you can only use the MiG-21 in 1.5.3 or in 1.5.2/2.0.1 If you switch between this versions you have to reactivate as you have noticed. So the only thing to do is play/test for the comming 24hours 1.5.3 or the 2.0.1 Version until the 1.5.3 goes public and all of your problems are solved.
  24. Have you ever tried random failures OFF? :music_whistling:
  25. Sorry for you but this thread existed since shortly after the update came live. Maybe it would be a better idea next time to look into the bugs section than toasting one activation after the other. As you can see it is a common problem...
