  1. Are you sure you could blame 1.5 for the performance? Looks like there is something terribly wrong with your system, did you ever encountered problems with your HD or Crossfire setup? Did you tried a single GPU test run with medium settings and low AA/AF settings to compare? Even in worst 1.x.x times with an AMD card I haven't seen such performance breakdowns. Currently the F-15C seems to be one of my top fps aircraft.
  2. That is the purpose of this forum. How to report? http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=147710 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=148091
  3. You have to go in to detail please. Screenshots with fps counter or better than that a trackfile and your hardware. See: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=147710 If you are experiencing drops with cluster munitions it is because 1.5 still uses the old effects.
  4. +1  Anything more than know is simply cheating
  5. At least compareable screenshots would be nice...
  6. Your issue looks the same as: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=147787 Only FPS problems in the main menu, no problems in the sim. If you read the thread and can confirm, maybe a moderator could merge the threads.
  7. Hey guys, I tried to recreate your problems on my end but I had no success. There is a really minor drop when using Whot but nothing substancial like in your cases. Bhot isn't changing anything in performance. Anything you could add? I know some of you use SLI/Crossfire but this shouldn't be the reason... I use 512 res for cockpit displays, single monitor setup at HD res.
  8. Explosion effects, clouds etc. have not changed. They will be adressed by ED after 2.0 is out.
  10. Sorry to hear this but the wrong section. If you want to flag it as a bug, please attach comparable tracks, screenshots and further descriptions. We also know nothing about your specs apart from your GPU.
  11. Maybe no priority issue but very noticeable, occurs only in outside AC views. Mission: Instant Action - East Georgia Spring easy. Win 10, System see sig... Screenshots attached: 1st DoF off 2nd DoF simple Bokeh setting eats same performance as simple. FPS drop of 40% EDIT: System.nfo System.zip
  12. Maybe they should open a seperate Paypal Account for a release party (no joke, I would spend 5 bucks). Would be nice if they could celebrate it with some champagne and some Valium for Sith :music_whistling: Must be a hell of a job to keep the crowd under control
:megalol:
  16. Clarification by Sith:
  17. Maybe this can bring some light to the development... see page 12 onwards. @SinusoidDelta: The correct term would be the F-15C radar had the capability for A/G EDIT: I assume we are only talking about the american F-15C! ADA398080.pdf
  18. The NH-90 was dropped to my information. I love new gadgets but let's be honest, the FM and avionics would not be more than an educated guess or advertising. No military manufacturer would give his new and most precious data away. (Much to my regret you can see that even the AH-64A is kept under such restrictive information policy that a third party developer decided to make a training module for the army without the chance of creating a DCS module. Unlike ED who managed it to create a "public" A-10C Version, this studio signed a NDA which won't allow use of their gained knowledge about the Apache.) The Panther (or military Dauphin) would be interesting. There are so many variants (of the Dauphin) from different manufacturers that there simply must be some kind of reliable information regarding the FM.
  19. You forgot the most obvious... It is simply classified. The same would be true for the NH-90. To get a close to real FM I would vote for the Dauphin. This baby is used around the world and even in civil air rescue stations. I think it should be possible to get some nice material (Cockpit photos, pilot interviews, maybe FM diagrams...) for this helicopter. To be honest, even after one studio dropped the project, my dream is flying the Apache together with a buddy in multicrew. :music_whistling:
  20. I'm voting for the Mirage 2000C since the most planes coming from ED have a nice manual to get started. I would also go with gospadin that planes without ASM, AFM/PFM should be second priority if it takes so much of your time. The upcoming helos would also be fine but I would wait for a close release date to vote for these beauties.
  21. Sorry, I followed this the last 4 pages and with every additional post this sounds more like conspiracy theories. If you have any doubts about the current (work in progress) flight model of FC3 aircraft, is there only a single reliable source of hard data other than Wiki, tv documentations or the feelings of some disappointed eagle drivers? I would say when in doubt, for the accused... If you can't bring hard evidence that there is something wrong your feelings and experiences are simply irrelevant... ED is well aware of the missile problems and working on them. But please don't be so stupid to believe everything that was posted in this thread. Even as flight engineer you won't be able to create an exact missile model based on dimensions and guessed performance data.
  22. I see what you are talking about but don't expect this high fidelity damage modeling from old FC3 aircraft like the MiG-29. If you try belly landings or light collisions with PFM models like the A-10C or the FW-190 for example you would be more satisfied. Losing a wing without getting roasted? No Problem! Maybe one day ED will upgrade all FC3 planes to an AFM or better PFM but as long as this won't happen you will get what you have paid for... budget module = more simple simulation.
  23. To make it short, the Mig-29 and the Su-27 in DCS carry AG munitions because they do in RL. The american F-15C carry absolutely no AG munitions (ignoring the cannon). Because a publication tells it could, it doesn't mean that it will be done. Even if it is possible in theory! You can search the forum, in one of the earlier threads it was stated that the certification for bombs was stopped. This means theoretically it could carry them but it isn't allowed to do so. There was an idea after Iraqi freedom to wire them for JDAM delivery but this would need upgrades for the radar, the navigational equipment, the weapons computer and so on. Simply to expensive. You can be sure that ED is aware of your topic since this comes up regularly which you would know if using the search function. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=140635 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=138353 The "take home message" is: I hope it is official enough for you!
  24. You can spare your time proving which aircraft did what and which could do this thing. As Maverick said, as ED said, there won't be such thing like bomb dropping F-15C's in the next years, point!
