only issue I found flying this and other helos was that on playing on server like Blu-Flag, the enemy can find you in the middle of no where on maps.. very strange... how do they do that? Even sitting near trees and in between hills...

I don't fly the F-14, but definitely have hud lighting issues in my many other aircraft lately...

Weird A-A radar issue, F-18 first flight of the night, a-a could barely pickup aircraft right in front, came back after sortie, next group of aircraft I came across, the radar picked them up without radar hassle. Does the F-18 radar need the nav GPS system re-initialized, if it does that? in other words, without getting a new aircraft, should I reset it back on the ground? note: I don't move the aircraft until it is ready to go. Maybe it wasn't really ready to go?

Fixed, moved texture settings higher ======= Nvidia 2080-ti settings wrong ?, cockpit labels in Black Shark III partially unreadable, as I could read most but some were washed out. I had not seen this in other aircraft I normally fly, F-18, F-16, Apache. I must have changed something, and not for the better. Any ideas what is off that should be on in graphics settings in DCS ? Thanx. I didn't put this in the BS3 forum because it might also be with other aircraft I have not flown lately.. and more hardware related..

yes, shorter... to me my altimeter was level and the tanker was doing the up and down like a sine wave... I want to know if other pilots see the tanker level and my plane level or do they see something I don't see.. ? I tried doing the trk without being in VR< but my setup (controls) are for VR, and so I am unable to do the views correctly to show non-vr trk. But the result was the same in a non vr flight. I used to take videos and do editing, but that was ages ago. Does anyone use any (free) video editing software and edit their track file videos to cut them? I would prefer editing the long unimportant parts out than keep on making traks. Thanx

Tanker Refuel, the tanker always goes up and down as seen in the track I am attaching TRK file. I hope it is replayable. doesn't matter what aircraft I refuel, what speed.. does the same thing with every type of tanker and aircraft. I am also in VR. 02_07_Fuel_A-10C_with_Tanker_problem.trk

been a long time, often the switches and buttons were not told of being momentary or toggle, or on off. I am finding out on my own in some cases. Also, some of the functions do not like being both setup on the Xbox pad and the Joystick at the same time. There are a few more notes and instructions out a few months later. I suppose some of my questions have been sorted.

Yours is not freezing like mine, at all! that's because it was in between jerks and not moving, I tried a longer video but DCS server said it was too large a file. it stops my mouse from moving while it freezes every 2 seconds seconds. I do keep them as favorites. or use the search and type in a couple letters of the server name. But, this is ridiculous! I just not sure which software to take the video directly from the computer screen. I probably have a program that will work, but so much work to get my point across!

not fragile. Hard to tell, because the aircraft had so many years and in some cases more than a decade of flying. I suspect the brakes were made to be light, not long lasting. They would often have to use the hook or a net. The parts were well worn after so many years of use. The aircraft were at the end of their life and being replaced by the F-16 about that time. About that time we had the A-10 coming on the seen too. We still had the Cobra helo, and many other helos too. The Harrier was also starting to see war missions. we had all of NATO in and out on the airbase. aircraft from the 1940's to the 1980's, were at the same airbase at one time or another, almost at the same time. of course the older stuff was there to visit or airshows, as it was a fighter and MAC wing. And the other airfields nearby were always TDY there. We also had army, so there were tanks, and ground units and Sam active sites, for practice. Anyways, probably worn parts, but while pilots are training, things do happen.

I go to the page where you can choose a server to join, or start your own server, it is a slide show, stop and go, very jerky, almost impossible to click on a server. I can really just only use the search, and type in the letters in the server name for the one i am looking for to come up to click on it. In the past this wasn't an issue. This issue has been going on a few short months. I just haven't said anything until now. I don't have problems after joining a server or creating a server. My computer and internet speeds are fine. Any idea how to fix this issue?

the single seater had all electronics from the front seat back. back then there wasn't many micro electronics in the computers, at least in the earlier models.

we had the F-4 B, E, and F models, at my base in Germany. the only thing I didn't see was Napalm or a nuke loaded on them. Probably the most thirstiest fighter, if not one of them. Carries huge loads of weapons, wings are tiny. They had brake problems more than most issues. They also lost wing tanks once in a while. 1.5 hour a sortie before fuel was an issue.
