  1. Finally!!! Gotta grow my bullet proof mustache!
  2. Hey @draconus thank you, I was being dumb! I have VR DCS linked to MT, while flat screen DCS is linked to ST and I was looking for the option in the latter... I started in VR and everything is where it should be. Thank you again!
  3. Hey guys! I have an old GTX 1070, from what I understand it should be able to use FSR 2.0, but the option is greyed out, even when AA is set to off. Is there an EDGE limitation to the cards that are supported for FSR? Or is it something else? My understanding is that I shouldn't need to install any AMD software to use FSR, is that correct?
  4. Thank you, Gulredrel! Can't wait to try it!
  5. Hey guys, did anyone try if the ugly bug has been finally squashed? I didn't have the time, yet.
  6. AFAIK, it'd be only to access your account on the webiste, not for logging into the sim. And, yes, you can disable it, from your profile page on the website.
  7. Does that mean 1 date and it's over? Noooooooooooooooooooooo!
  8. Thank you, @ChrisKermit, I was afraid of that. Well, I'll put a SEM-V there!
  9. Yep, that's exactly what I meant. I have the doubt that it can't be done with two examples of the same module, due to possible hardware conflicts, but, as you said, only VKB can answer the question. Thank you anyway for your help.
  10. Yes, Alpine, that's the concept, but I'm wondering if I can put a STEM on the MFH, instead of a vertical SEM
  11. @fallout9 is it possible to have a STECS with 2 STEMs? E.G. a STECS standard with MFH and a second STEM attached to the latter?
  12. @virgo47 if my memory isn't playing tricks on me, I recall watching a video on Youtube some days ago, where a guy addressed exactly the issue you're talking about, using the left grip internal wheel as a zoom axis in Falcon 4 BMS. I've been looking for that video, but I can't find it anymore, anyway, you should be able to change that behaviour via software. EDIT: found it, it was in Enigma's review. Check the video from this time stamp https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIRpAG2c2ug&t=715s
  13. Copy that, Fallout, thank you! EDIT: just to be clear, since I made a typo in my previous post, is it the same for a GF MkIII?
  14. Ah, ok, sorry, I thought that F-16 stick was sitting on a Gunighter base. I'll ask VKB directly, thank you very much!
  15. Hey @AlpineGTA, one more question: I have a GF MII, can I connect the STECS to the GF blackbox? Or do I have to use another USB port?
  16. Thanks for the explanation, @actually_fred. You said there are apps that work entirely offline, could you name some of them, please?
  17. Are you saying that I can just scan the QR code with my phone camera (that "understands" them)? Then what? It'll open a link to click?
  18. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the free trial and its first edition was a balsam, during lockdown (plus, the Harrier found home in my virtual hangar). I just pointed out that it was good for ED, too. I'd love to keep using it, but the 2FA is a dealbreaker for me.
  19. Thank you, Alpine, I was thinking of buying a STECS max, but after seeing your setup, I'm gonna take the same one. You're right, you can't ever have too many buttons!
  20. Well, Beirut, the free trial has been... sorry, is a good thing, but not only for the customers, even for ED. I bought at least three modules because I was able to try them and I'm gonna add The Channel map (sadly, not the Apache, my system is not good enough to run it in VR... another time!), and if I wasn't able to try them, I'd probably never have bought them, since watching reviews and reading opinions on the forums is never going to be equal to the possibility of testing how that module actually runs on your system and if it get you excited or not. If you think about it, it's nothing really new, there were plenty of demos years, decades ago; heck, Doom was a shareware, you could play, IIRC, the whole first episode for free and if you liked it, you just had to buy the rest of the game. So, putting an added layer to the free trial is a pity for everyone involved, even for ED, which will probably loose some sale because of this. All of this IMHO, of course.
