  1. Hi @fallout9, are you guys already able to tell us what the price in € will be? Even excluding VAT, that's an easy calculation to make. Thank you anyway.
  2. Got it, guys, thank you both! Rob is probably right, I was thinking LITENING, not ATFLIR.
  3. Hey there! I'm brushing up on my Hornet skills after a couple of months I let them take some dust and I ran into this behaviour, that shouldn't be correct, for what I know. When working with a JTAC, using the ATFLIR pod, I tried to enter LST mode using the Cage/Uncage button on the throttle, as I usually did, but it doesn't work. I had to use the PB on the DDI to track the laser. I looked around both in the forums and elsewhere and I couldn't find any piece of information about a change in the controls for the ATFLIR: am I missing something, or could this be a bug? Keep in mind that my keybindings are correctly set (I used the Cage/Uncage in A2A with the -9X and everthing works fine) and that LST works fine, as if I use the PB it spots and track the laser shot by the JTAC (codes were correctly set). Thanks for your help!
  4. Thanks a lot, Duke! Grazie mille a tutto il team!
  5. I just tried that in DCS, it works! I fired up the Caucasus Case I recovery mission, you have a clean Hornet with a centerline tank, no pylons and wingtip Sidewinders; after the first landing, I launched again, and while I was getting back behind the boat I thought: "Why not test if the DCS Hornet can supercruise?" So, with 6k pounds of fuel left, I did what Gonky said, got up to 28k feet, full miitary and, lo and behold, I got Mach 1.06 out of it! Great thread, @wilbur81, thank you for all the videos in the first post, they're great!
  6. If you wanna try to install some mod again, in the FAQs of the project page https://08jne01.github.io/community-a4e-c/#frequently-asked-questions under "Known bugs and incompatibilities" there's a list of mods known to create issues when installed together with the A-4.
  7. @Talvid here's the link to latest release download: https://github.com/dcs-liberation/dcs_liberation/releases/tag/8.1.0 just download the .zip file at the end of the page and unzip the folder wherever you like. The exe is inside the main "dcs_liberation" folder ("liberation_main.exe").
  8. Wilco, thank you again!
  9. Hey @silverdevil! Thank you again for your help. I couldn't exactly zero in on the issue, but I think it is something that has to do with USB devices and their power supply. When I bought the Rift S, it gave problems of disconnections, so I bought a powered USB hub and connected everything else but the visor to it; other than with DCS, I could use the Rift S without problems. Yesterday I switched the mouse and visor connection, connecting the former directly to the motherboard and the latter to the hub, and finally no more CTD while playing DCS. Not sure if that has solved the issue for good, to be on the safe side I added a 32 GB pagefile; in any case, I'll keep testing and see what happens. Thank you again!
  10. Hey Silverdevil, thank you for your answer. A couple of question: 1) how big should the pagefile be? 2) when you say "disable hot plug", you mean I should disable a system option, a game option, or what? If it's a option to disable, where do I find it? 3) How can I see what USB device disconnected? How can I track the actual piece of hardware moving from that VID code I see in there? Thank you again!
  11. Hey guys! Since last update in June, the game has been crashing on me: everytime it's the same mission (Operation Epsom, mission 7) in Normandy. I hoped that today's update could have solved the issue, but it just took the game longer to crash. I mostly experienced this using the MT exe, but it happens with the ST one, too, so, I'm posting in here, even though the log I'm attaching is from the MT version. I'm playing in VR, I have an Oculus Rift S, system is a Ryzen 7 2700 X, 32 GB of 3200MT RAM (G.Skills Ripjaws V), GTX 1070 (yeah, I know!), 2 SSD, one 500 GB 970 Evo for the OS and a dedicated 2 TB 980 Pro for DCS, Win10 Pro 64 bit 21H2 (build 19044), DX 12. If you need other info or logs, just ask. Please help, I have no idea what's going on and how to solve it, and playing IL-2 it's just not the same thing! dcs.log
  12. La qualità costruttiva VKB di solito è eccellente, magari hanno meno fronzoli estetici, ma, di solito, sono assolutamente solidi.

  14. Hey @karasinicoff! As Duke wrote in his last post above, the team identified the root cause of the this bug, they're now working on the fix to correct it. I'm sure that after fixing this nasty one, they'll move on to fix the other bugs that are currently affecting this module.
  15. Slightly off topic: is it possible, guys, to set a new position for the pilot's head in VR? Everytime I got into the cockpit I have to use the recenter button, while physically moving my head around to find the right position...
  16. @6S.Duke, btw, feel free to drop the fix RC in here for testing as you did with the previous one, I'll be happy to help.
  17. That's great news, @6S.Duke, thank you so very much for it! I'll finally be able to enjoy the Macchino!
  18. I tested the fix on Enigma's server, multi-threaded exe, Syria map, Al-Dumayr airport, it happened again three times in a row (I repaired the airplane after the first time), always on the runway, threshold 24. This time I was going slowly, I don't think there were enough lateral forces, even with full rudder deflection. I have the track (don't know if it's corrupted), but it's too big to post it in here; if you guys need it, @6S.Duke, tell me and I'll find a way to let you have it.
  19. Hi @thebeloved, thank you for the tip, I never thought of clicking the shield! Thank you for the offer, also, unfortunately, I'm still stuck at work... maybe another time, since it seems we're in the same time zone. I never played in Enigma's, I try it tonight.
  20. Thanks guys, I can confirm that we can't test the fix online in pure client servers. @thebeloved how do you open that window? I never saw it before...
  21. It was, Gulredrel, two great days of aviation! I saw the video, it's really nice to see the display from the cockpit!
  22. @6S.Duke one question: is the fix IC compliant? Will I be able to try it online?
  23. Hey guys! Last weekend at Pratica di Mare Air Base there was a big airshow to celebrate a hundred years of Aeronautica Militare. Many warbirds (P-51s,Spitfire, P-47, P-38, F-86, G.91, F-104, etc) and modern airplanes (Eurofighter, F-35A and B, Tornado, AMX, etc), all of which served in Italy's air force at one point or another, were flown in front of thousands of people. And, of course, both days were closed by a Frecce Tricolori performance. So, here's some pictures from the Saturday display; they're taken with a compact camera, with automatic settings, and are not edited, so nothing fancy, I just wanted to share with you these exhilarating moments of aviation. I'll post pictures of other aircrafts in the relevant forums, if there is one. Enjoy!
  24. Thank you and the Team for your work, I hope my test can be useful. Got it, I didn't think of WOW, it makes perfect sense, the airplane was leaning heavily on the side.
  25. Hey guys! First of all, @6S.Duke and the team, thanks for this fix. I've been more or less vocal about this bug, lately, both here and on Discord, and knowing that you guys are working on a solution, even if we don't see or hear anything from you, it's reassuring. That said, unfortunately the bug is still here, even though it might be less obnoxious than before. I'm gonna post some tracks, hoping they're not corrupted and can be of help. I set up a couple of 339s with high weight in a training mission of mine in Caucasus and used a couple of airports where I knew the bug presented itself, Anapa and Kobuleti. All tests were run on the single threaded version of DCS. In some of them (tracks 1 and 6 to 8), I set up a 55 degree (direction from where the wind is coming) 6 knots wind, with no turbulence; in the others (tracks 2 to 7 and 9), wind is coming from the same direction, but it's 12 knots and there's a 6 *0.1 feet turbulence. As you'll see (hopefully), the crashes (IIRC) all happened on the missions with the strongest wind settings; also, it appears to me that it happens only when there's full rudder/nosewheel applied, or there are strong lateral forces on the airframe; IIRC when I taxied without too much steering, even at high speed, there were no occurances of the bug. I hope these tracks and my little report can be of help to finally squash this nasty bug. If you guys want me to run some specific test, just ask. One more thing: in the last tracks you can see that NW steering deactivates itself when I steer at high speed or on the grass: is that normal? Could it be somehow related to the issue at hand?
