  1. Slightly off topic: is it possible, guys, to set a new position for the pilot's head in VR? Everytime I got into the cockpit I have to use the recenter button, while physically moving my head around to find the right position...
  2. @6S.Duke, btw, feel free to drop the fix RC in here for testing as you did with the previous one, I'll be happy to help.
  3. That's great news, @6S.Duke, thank you so very much for it! I'll finally be able to enjoy the Macchino!
  4. I tested the fix on Enigma's server, multi-threaded exe, Syria map, Al-Dumayr airport, it happened again three times in a row (I repaired the airplane after the first time), always on the runway, threshold 24. This time I was going slowly, I don't think there were enough lateral forces, even with full rudder deflection. I have the track (don't know if it's corrupted), but it's too big to post it in here; if you guys need it, @6S.Duke, tell me and I'll find a way to let you have it.
  5. Hi @thebeloved, thank you for the tip, I never thought of clicking the shield! Thank you for the offer, also, unfortunately, I'm still stuck at work... maybe another time, since it seems we're in the same time zone. I never played in Enigma's, I try it tonight.
  6. Thanks guys, I can confirm that we can't test the fix online in pure client servers. @thebeloved how do you open that window? I never saw it before...
  7. It was, Gulredrel, two great days of aviation! I saw the video, it's really nice to see the display from the cockpit!
  8. @6S.Duke one question: is the fix IC compliant? Will I be able to try it online?
  9. Hey guys! Last weekend at Pratica di Mare Air Base there was a big airshow to celebrate a hundred years of Aeronautica Militare. Many warbirds (P-51s,Spitfire, P-47, P-38, F-86, G.91, F-104, etc) and modern airplanes (Eurofighter, F-35A and B, Tornado, AMX, etc), all of which served in Italy's air force at one point or another, were flown in front of thousands of people. And, of course, both days were closed by a Frecce Tricolori performance. So, here's some pictures from the Saturday display; they're taken with a compact camera, with automatic settings, and are not edited, so nothing fancy, I just wanted to share with you these exhilarating moments of aviation. I'll post pictures of other aircrafts in the relevant forums, if there is one. Enjoy!
  10. Thank you and the Team for your work, I hope my test can be useful. Got it, I didn't think of WOW, it makes perfect sense, the airplane was leaning heavily on the side.
  11. Hey guys! First of all, @6S.Duke and the team, thanks for this fix. I've been more or less vocal about this bug, lately, both here and on Discord, and knowing that you guys are working on a solution, even if we don't see or hear anything from you, it's reassuring. That said, unfortunately the bug is still here, even though it might be less obnoxious than before. I'm gonna post some tracks, hoping they're not corrupted and can be of help. I set up a couple of 339s with high weight in a training mission of mine in Caucasus and used a couple of airports where I knew the bug presented itself, Anapa and Kobuleti. All tests were run on the single threaded version of DCS. In some of them (tracks 1 and 6 to 8), I set up a 55 degree (direction from where the wind is coming) 6 knots wind, with no turbulence; in the others (tracks 2 to 7 and 9), wind is coming from the same direction, but it's 12 knots and there's a 6 *0.1 feet turbulence. As you'll see (hopefully), the crashes (IIRC) all happened on the missions with the strongest wind settings; also, it appears to me that it happens only when there's full rudder/nosewheel applied, or there are strong lateral forces on the airframe; IIRC when I taxied without too much steering, even at high speed, there were no occurances of the bug. I hope these tracks and my little report can be of help to finally squash this nasty bug. If you guys want me to run some specific test, just ask. One more thing: in the last tracks you can see that NW steering deactivates itself when I steer at high speed or on the grass: is that normal? Could it be somehow related to the issue at hand? 12. I didn't say anything because I don't have the real world -34 and I didn't have anything to add to what IvanK already wrote, but I do care and I'd like to see this and other bugs (chiefly, the randomly occurring damage/explosion during taxi, due to inexplicable accelerations on the airframe). And, by now, I do think this module has been put aside by the devs: and I do hope they'll prove me wrong, very soon hopefully.
  13. Do you have the brakes on axes? Try to invert them: when I map right and left wheel brakes on my pedals axes, they always need to be inverted, if I don't do that, they'll be active in the aircraft when I'm not pushing on the pedals in reality and vice versa.
  14. Did anyone experienced this bug after last patch? Any hopes it finally went away?
  15. + 1, I've been keeping her in the hangar for months, waiting for the fixes!
  16. Talking about changes to the campaign, I just played mission 9, the one where you have to cut a couple of railway junctiolns: well, it may be my bad skills at reading maps and dead reckoning, but it seemed to me that the images in the briefing and the kneeboard are now outdated and don't describe the targets accurately with respect with the new terrain.
  17. I have FPS issues, but since I'm running VR on a 1070, I'd say it's first and foremost due to my videocard; gotta say, btw, that I had fps drop only when in areas with several AI units. I'm running the MT version esclusively, right now.
  18. Hey YoYo, I tried it for the first time yesterday, everything seemed to be fine, except that I couldn't communicata with Ruqueville field on any channel (not the usual B, nor any of the others), I'm wondering if the field frequency has been changed on the new terrain.
  19. What report is that, @Mikep821? I think I missed it.
  20. Surely, it'd be nice to have some update from the devs on this problem: right now, it's keeping me from flying the 339. From what Duke said in this thread, it is, unfortunately, a very randomic and unusual issue, I'm guessing it's really hard to track down it's source and fix it; we should provide IFE with as many tracks as we can to help them find the problem.
  21. There's a nice article on the Fighter Pilot Podcast website about bomb fuzes, unfortunately it's more focused on the new ones rather than the old M904 we have for now (more will be added by ED later). I'm sure if you google "M904" you'll find something.
  22. IIRC fuzes for the MK-80 series were introduced in the previous OB patch, in January. They're not a 339 feature, they're a new core game feature.
  23. Thank you, Rudel, downloading now! I do have FC3 installed, so I'm gonna try the 104, too! Copy, thank you! EDIT: Razo+r, if it's possible, you might want to change the name of the folder on filehorst.de, it say "stable", people could be confused by that, too.
  24. Wow, thank you Razo+r, that was fast! But I'm a bit confused, can I use the 2.5.x - 2.8.x versions of the mods, which are labeled for stable version, for open beta, too?
  25. Hey there guys! I never installed VSN mods, but I can't resist the attraction of the last F-4B and F-104 versions! I'm on latest OB, 2.8.2.35759, which download I have to choose? The links in the OP don't seem to point to the ones I need for my version... Thank you for your help!
