  1. AFAIK IRL Winds will have very little effect on guided bombs. Continous lasing should be used to keep the FOV from drifting to far off after release. 10knots wind is ridiculously low and no factor for a gbu. And works fine for me unless the laser spot is over a weird model and overspills or something.
  2. LPT: you can disable the sound of the page by clicking the speaker icon on the left of the tab.. on Chromium at least...
  3. If you have eny ADA you don't want to overfly them in the first place, if you know where they are, use your map to plot it and create a PRECISE waypoint for it as you don't want to approximate air defense positions if possible. Modern pilots have digital maps in tablets to help them. I've seen Rafale pilots without TGPs go for dry passes (eventually a SoF) at low/medium altitude to spot/mark the target.
  4. @Tumbleweed1606688689I noticed the weird ff behavior when switching the mode too far and coming back to FF. I believe I read in the manual that squelch and guard are not implemented but I could be wrong. Other than that, thanks to OP for the IRL feedback!
  5. Please let us know how it goes!
  6. Well unfortunately I'm unable to access DCS until next week, I'll try to reproduce maybe repair DCS and come back.
  7. @Northstar98true that. Suspensions are so stiff that I don't feel they exist. My point is that it's a great fix for driving first person but the big problem with movement is with vehicles that just won't move where we want them both AI or player.
  8. @Shadow KTThanks for the report, I'll definitely check that! @Northstar98Ok suspension is bad but I think we should first focus on getting from point A to point B without getting stuck or by driving at 226km/h with a HUMVEE in the first place! (I got pictures...). Although for the speed, DCS not being played competitively with CA I don't see a big balance issue and it's useful sometimes to "teleport" somewhere eh.
  9. Please I can't take it anymore, when I'm playing JTAC on a vantage point, I get the constant engine noise mixing with the comms and it's very annoying as I can stay up there for 2 hours, IRL we would most likely be dismounted and on overwatch position (not requesting this as it's asking for a game that already exist...), engine noise is something to deal with during a convoy or cavalry assault but NOT when on overwatch position. The "fix" I have for this is lowering both the world and cockpit volume because those 2 are used depending if you're in the vehicle as driver or gunner OR if you switch to binoculars... Then I loose all situational awareness as I'm unable to hear if someone is shooting or flying around me...
  10. Yes I received an email from UPS with a tracking number on 28th, expedited by Guillemot. Then thrustmaster sent me an email on 29th saying they got my throttle and their processing time was temporary longer and expect 15 days for turnaround??? Received a new throttle the next day without any explanation as to why it was not reparable... My guess is they'll keep my old throttle and probably dispose of it for parts to repair others or something? You see the problem with me and thrusti is that their mails don't make any sense but they do the job correctly, go figure. Hope you get your throttle back soon enough!
  11. Ok that's weird cause I didn't modify the files for this. You switched to "override" on the panel right? Otherwise it will keep using the trim hat on the stick and that one works fine. Just making sure.
  12. As in the track you just have to switch the trim to override on the emergency panel. It works fine but the hat on the panel is inverted for the pitch I thought the track speak for itself. Oh and I realized I just posted in the wrong section, I meant to post in "Bugs". If any mod sees this... My bad
  13. Hello, I noticed the emergency trim hat for nose up/down is inverted, see attached track. I tried with the formal A10C and it doesn't happen there. trim_issue.trk
  14. @galinette I was especially looking for the VHF/UHF keypad so thanks for the lua edit BUT @RAZBAM_ELMO this should be already in the control options by default please.
  15. Ahhh la LPA et les parachutes dans les buissons ardents, ça me rappelle plein de souvenirs ^^
  16. This utility is just awesome Bailey! Thanks a lot!
  17. Beautiful work thank you so much!
  18. @angrymancunianyeah I read all the manuals both from thrustmaster and CTS, I'm sure it's good stuff as on the paper it had everything I needed especially if I can customize some bindings. I got a simple setup, just a TM Warthog but the combined device was just acting strange with no joystick input. I guess it's a target issue cause it works all fine otherwise but I'll check the usb stuff even tho I'm sure I disabled all the saving crap.
  19. I wanted to try playing around with your profiles but I got none of this to work, followed every single step correctly to install but when I launch the script it works 1 out of 3 times for some reason, device analyser would crash because of fast service, joystick and throttle axis randomly "hang". I mean this is just the worst, I don't know if it's something I changed in the options that messed it up but I double checked, switched usb ports all morning I can't see anything wrong?
  20. Serial #: 53023 Location: France
  21. @ZBoT my throttle came back today and they actually a BRAND NEW one instead of doing a repair. I couldn't believe it as it was supposed to be an out of warranty! Well so I got no answer for you but try your luck with RMA as they actually did very good for me!
  22. @Northstar98 oh yeah I'm only talking about civilian ships here and in fact I wanted to include lighthouses and buoys but I wasn't sure if already in game. If it's not then yeah "some of this too" hehe.
  23. good tutorial on the throttle management! I think an other good tip is to switch on the bingo page on the DED
  24. @PhilTheBeat as per first post : "If you have Terrain mod such as CGTC, Barthek's, Mustang's, Starway's.... there will be conflict. Just install this mod last and overwrite. This mod will only replace trees and substrate." So no issue there, you'll benefit from the trees if you enable it after.
  25. I was doing a night mission on shore, had to strike a civilian transport ship and I realized they have no lights so it made spotting and sorting a lot harder. I would love to see nav lights on ships similar to what we have for antennas or high buildings in cities. Now I'm by no mean a sailor so I searched for some docs to see what it should be like, but basically it's like a plane! Red/green for sides and white for stern/mast visibility up to ~3 miles. I live nearby an important harbor and when I look over the sea horizon at night I can spot the green and white lights pretty well! Not in DCS... However, warships shouldn't be on the list I guess. This would make the experience much better for carrier ops as well as night ops near the shore in general! What do you think?
