  1. Hey, I took a look for these values... my config.lua file does not seem to contain these values where should I look for these?
  2. Hm, I dont see where your problem is. Just opened a random Mission of the A10C-Campaign, selected waypoint 0 and changed it to "take of from parking position"...
  3. I think this depends... The CBU 105 is inertially guided wich is nice, but you can drop the 97 in CCIP and with some training hit moving targets. I find it extremely difficult to do this in CCRP. Quite often tanks only get damaged by the bomblets and if they are spread out the CBU's are quite useless compared to precision ammunition. But in fact, I agree that the CBU 97/105 can have a massive effect for one drop.
  4. you can export the command list to a *.lua file, wich can be openend with the default editor, or you can export it to a *.html file. HTML was bugged but I think it's fixed by now
  5. You will have to edit the missions and select start from ramp for your aircraft
  6. I would guess a laserguided version wouldnt be of much use, as it takes time for the bomblets to be deployed. These bomblets are little boxes on chutes with (image and magnetic?) sensors. These detect vehicles and fire shaped charges at them. So even if you laserguid the dispenser to the current location of a moving vehicle it still would not be hit as the chutes take to much time to be deployed and aquirre the target.
  7. if there was any response...
  8. As Mithrandir said, the D has the Advantage of an IR-Image Sensor. It is capable of nighttime operations and locks on to targets way better because of better contrast of the IR Image. On the downside, it still only locks on at about 8nm max. The H gets a solid lock at about 3-4nm, but its big advantage is the force correlate mode. In this mode the Mav does not track a target, but flies to the location given vía picture track. So you can fire AGM-65H at about 12-14nm (depends on altitude) on nonmoving targets, and the AGM-65D on moving Targets at about 8nm
  9. Response from ATC is at last not a really big issue, although its kinda gets on everyones nerves. Real problem is a Tanker not responding on rejoin request, as you are sitting in an a10 with 10min Fuel left, 15min from next Airport ^^
  10. Dropping Mk82's on tanks is fairly difficult, as you almost never are able to fly that low! On 2800 feet you simply are toast. Usually somewhere will be at last an Igla and it will rip you because you have almost no reactoion time for a missile less than 2 miles away coming at you with Ma2.5 Mk82s arent that bad, but if you consider dropping them from 10k Feet + with moderate to heavy winds, it is almost impossible to hit. GBU 12's are a very good solution for precision attacks on highly armored vehicles, even if they are moving. GBU 38's are very nice, too, as they are fire and forget weapons, and you can drop multiple in one run, but not on moving targets Arming 6 Mav's is possible, but if you want to keep the realism, 4 is maximum as the inner ones would burn your tires. Using a TGP actually limits the real loadout to 3 Mav's, as the outer one on the TGP-Wing will roast your TGP on launch
  11. Yea, but real eyes look out of the canopy, not on a screen with limited resolution...
  12. I understand that. Points are one of the last things I care about, but I recently had my first kill A10 vs Su33 and was really happy shooting him down, seeing the wreckage falling to the... "XXX switched to Spectators" -.- ANNOYING!!!
  13. Hold ctrl-b to extend the speedbrakes, holt shift-b to retract them
  14. Just a quick question as it was a very long time ago when I flew a Su25 (lomac ^^)... Why would you prefer the Su25 over the Su25t? As it came with DCSW i gave it a try and definately agree, the Su25(t) is a fun to fly Aircraft (although I think its manouverability is somewhat crap). When I bought FC3 I didnt really care to try the Su25 as I already got used to the Su25t...
  15. Love Silent Hunter ^^ Would be cool, although the slow pace could be hard in mp-games
  16. I'm just curious... arent even wireguided missiles reffering to lasermeasured target position information?
  17. It is actually quite simple. Aim your vector at the beginning of the runway and try to get in at about 120-140kias depending on your load. This is suitable for most situations and isnt hard to do. For a correct landing, you align yourself with the glidepath if you use ILS, or get to an altitude where you will get a -3° path (again use tvv on hud). The AoA is the angle between the Airflow and your wings, so if you pull up, you increase the AoA. (AoA is alpha / α) The aircraft has a lift-coefficient C_A, and the lift/alpha C_Aα. C_A represents the Lift your aircraft generates and is a function of your altitude, speed and weight. C_Aα is the amount your Lift increases with increasing AoA. So lets say your altitude is const (air density doesnt vary that much while landing) and your weight is, too. So only variable is your speed. As your speed increases your AoA decreases as the lift has to stay the same ( C_a = C_aα(V) * α = const )
  18. I'd guess Kobuleti only has an ILS for one direction?! Did you try to approach 07 with different weather settings? I dont think the ILS is shut down in DCS, but perhaps that has changed
  19. I didnt mean to say its never usefull to do that. I just wanted to say it is a waste since not every target in an Area requires standoff engagement and in RL the number of Mavericks available is 3-4 at max. Ofc this only applies to situations with groundtargets guarded by only a few SAM / AAA. In cases like the one you showed, with heavy airdefense capable of missiledefense it sure is useful to rifle more to get a killshot through / engage a max number of priority targets. BTW: really good flying in the vid! Missiles everywhere xD
  20. I read the manual a few weeks ago and stumbled upon the TISL section, too. As far as I recall it, TISL was still said nonfunctional now and in future... Just looked it up and still says nonfunctional (P 117 first bracket). Is there a version-number for the manual somewhere?
  21. Maybe if you are used to the trimmer button, you just dont need the FD. I personally like the AP to hold my attitude when on cruise, but I hate it as soon as I want to manouver, so I'm a big fan of the FD, too.
  22. perhaps I didnt got the problem right, but BS1 isnt compatible to DCSW. So if it says it has Black Shark, I would guess BS2 is ment
  23. Possible, but I question the usefullness and realism. I mainly use Mavericks against airdefense targets and try to save as much of them as possible. Just rifeling Mavs at all targets I see in an Area seems a bit of a waste to me, as the main advantage of the Mav is the standoff capability. So why use them against a Target that doesnt pose a real threat to me? (OFC if the Mav is the best or only option I use it... doesnt make sense to take it back either ^^) Also I never fly with 6 Mavericks as the true maximum loadout of the A10 is 4 Mavericks. The inner ones would burn off the tires. Actually they only use 3 when equiped with TGP as the outer Mav would burn the TGP, too. But I guess this is more than optional in DCS ^^
  24. I personally like the CPT mode as I seem to be a bit slow in recentering in .5s. In the end, its just personal preference wich mode to use. Neither one is realisitic, as a realistic behaviour is only possible with a ForceFeedback-Stick. A problem with CPTmode could be the Stick you use. If the Central position is not that accurate, you end up stirring around till you hit the center to be able to manouver again. Your setup shouldnt be a problem, as you can map the buttons for the stick and use the saitek SST. Although I wonder why you dont use the X52-Stick aswell?!
  25. The Munition is changed in the rearming page, as P*Funk said. The correct Munition has to be set in the IFFCC-Weapons page. To do this, set the IFFCC-Switch to the Test-Position and select the Weapons Page. There you can select the 30mm-Optionspage. Here you can select out of 3 types of munition: CM - Combat Mix; HE - High Explosives; TP - Training.
