Yup, that's right, been running adaptive for years. Funny thing is, DCS was the only app with issues. I've since upgraded to 10900X from 7900X and it has a much better power state management, I've been able to dial it down to lower core voltages and DCS is running fine.

I, for one, understand it perfectly and I still don't like their tactile feedback at all. Uninformative and mushy. The action delay suggestion is, frankly, totally unacceptable. YMMV.

First: so far, it seems the devs have nailed most of the crashes and I have yet to see a single crash on 2.7.1. Now, I've discovered something though: I had to reload my uefi bios profile due to some configuration changes and I noticed my previously configured overclocking settings which were stable for 2.5.x did not work out for me on 2.7.x with random CTDs not accompanied by "game crashed" dcs dialogbox. Funnily enough, my system passed every single stress test with no lockups (occt, xtu, aida, even prime95). I had to up the core voltages a bit (about +0.020-25) to stabilize the system in DCS. Whatever the devs optimized in 2.7.x obviously made DCS more sensitive to OC. TL:DR: Make sure you dial down on your OC if you're crashing even if your system plays everything else just fine and passes stress tests with flying colors. Just my 2 cents.

Test it with another PC, i.e. a laptop. In my case, it was a faulty cable (round plug). VPC promptly sent a replacement though.

Been flying the Normandy Bf-109K landing quick mission. The sim just locks up and I've yet to catch the blue crash notification box. On the plus side, the crashes are much less frequent.

Still crashing, but after 8-10 restarts.

Yes, I can confirm that. Hornet is crashing like crazy, other planes less frequently, but still noticeably more.

Migrated my commands to the mod. Excellent work, Quaggles. Was getting tedious to diff the input files after every update.

This is most probably not a VPC issue.

How are you calibrating? Are you moving the stick when you engage the calibration mode?
