HI. The transition from pilot to WSO only serves me to activate the laser pod, I don't act on the flight controls. When I return to the pilot's seat the plane is losing altitude and the autopilot is disabled.

The autopilot is automatically disabled when switching from pilot to WSO and vice versa. It would be appropriate if this did not happen. I hope for the next patch.

Hi everyone. When you change seat (pilot/WSO) in flight and the autopilot is active, it appears that it is automatically deactivated. So it happens to me that going from pilot to WSO and vice versa, I notice that the plane has to restore the lost route and altitude. I ask if this is an intended effect or can it be fixed to keep the autopilot on all the time and disengage it when I want.

I apologize for the incorrect report: I misremembered the settings for launching the LGB. In fact, erroneously, in the AG delivery options, I selected: AUTO, RP single, N/T. This setting is incorrect for LGB. In fact, by selecting: AUTO, STEP, N/T, the bang is guaranteed! The laser codes are perfectly matched between bombs and TGPs. Again sorry for the procured not real alarm.

Hi everyone. I have tried several times to use this weapon with the Su-25 with very disappointing results. I used it, for example, against a western tank column (Abrams, Leopard and Challenger). I aligned the aircraft to the column and dropped the contents of the six canisters along the column with complete coverage of the column and maximum effect. The result was disappointing. Only one Abrams (out of 12 tanks) was destroyed, all others received no damage (or minimal damage). Out of curiosity, I tried to perform the same mission with an F-15E armed with 6 CBU-97. The attack was devastating: all the tanks were destroyed (some on the first pass, others exploded later as a result of the damage). I believe the lethality potential of KMGU content is grossly underestimated.

Hi Kamsa12, do you know the command to switch between targets in TWS as it is for the F-16 or F-18. From the videos on Youtube it seems that it is necessary to bring the cursor of the TDC on the target and to do "TDC press". But it seems to me really poor as a system! Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone. I don't understand the rave reviews about the F-15E radar. Four Il-76 MDs flying at 25,000 ft towards my F-15E at the same altitude. The radar detects transports at 100 nm. At 50nm it loses contact and there is no way to re-acquire them. At 30nm I see trails ahead of me. The radar sees nothing (!) even though it is set at 40 nm with the same initial elevation (transports go straight ahead at the same initial altitude). At 10nm I decide to use AAQ and finally one gets locked on. Ridiculous. I don't understand what's wrong and what settings I should make with such a trivial situation (I imagine small and maneuvering targets are invisible ... not even by continuously pointing the radar at them! I didn't even have a Mig-21!!!!)

correct as-is F16 - laserguided bomb not dropping

After some time I faced a mission with my F-16 equipped with GBU-12 bombing some tanks. Frustrating!!!! It's completely different from what I remembered: a confusing symbology appears regarding the dive toss that has nothing to do with a level bombing at high altitude. I don't understand when I have to throw the bomb and even if I keep the fire button pressed, the bomb doesn't start (but the laser is activated eh!). I guess I'll have to relearn how to do a simple thing in a complicated way. Apart from the toss bombing video, useless for releasing a GBU 12, I guess ED didn't offer a video tutorial for the new mode to use for lgb (at least I didn't find it). Last notation: is the simulation now correct whereas before it was invented? -

The only mod I had included in the main directory "DCS World OpenBeta" was the one "F-22 external weapons" (files in the CoreMods directory contained in the main one). The repair program worked on those files and corrected them. Unfortunately my F-22 now has only AIM-120C-5 (better than nothing!).Thanks everyone for your interest! -

Flappie, thanks for the help but I must have expressed myself incorrectly: the problem is not related to the fact that the objects are visible or not but that they really aren't present in the "played" mission although I have inserted them in the "created" mission . I ran the DCS OpenBeta repair program and everything is fine again. But it remains that some mods have been disabled. Unfortunately there are beautiful mods (to which we become attached!) which - after updates - conflict with the game and we have to abandon them. -

Hello Nightstorm! It seems to me that there is a compatibility problem between the F-22 weapon mod (the one that adds the various AIM-120 and AIM-9X types) and the mission editor (ME). It's really strange: if I install the "weapon mod F-22" I can't get terrestrial objects anymore in the missions I generate with the ME. For example, I add enemy tanks into the mission, I start the mission, but there are no more tanks!!! I have attached a mission where the problem occurs. My version is DCS 2.8.6.41066 Open Beta (the last available). If I run the repair, everything is fine again, but the mod has been removed. F-16 CAS train 03.miz -

My version: DCS 2.8.6.41066 Open Beta The mission uses the Sinai map. Now I pack one with the Caucasus map. I thought the problem was solved with the latest update, but it still is. F-16 CAS train 03.miz -

Hi CH!! Congrats on your mods!! I have devised a simple mission to test the Iskander which I am attaching to this post. I think I'm doing something wrong because although I have assigned the targets and they are within the range of the missile, the systems do not launch the missile and nothing happens even when speeding up time. Salut tout le monde! Félicitations pour le mod Rafale ! C'est vraiment agréable ! Jusqu'à présent, je n'ai pu utiliser que des armes A / S guidées par la télévision (avec le module Tales), mais je n'ai pas compris comment utiliser SCALP à longue distance sans utiliser les Tales. Les instructions disent ceci: "- Allumez le Radar (I): à ce stade le diamant ( losange ) s'allume et vous montre la cible, dirigez le désignateur de cible sur le diamant avec les touches adéquates (vous n'avez pas besoin de l'écran TV tout se fait dans le Hud) puis verouillez la cible avec la touche (entrée)". Lorsque j'allume le radar (I), je ne vois aucun diamant et ne vois que le désignateur! Merci d'avance à tous ceux qui voudront m'aider. PS J'ai installé le dernier mod "RAFALE PACK EVOLUTION juin 2022"
