  2. I see there are lots of people mentioning various bugs but I think I know part of the problem why. I’m using MT version of DCS World. I do follow the instructions in the briefing of takeoff before Smoke to prevent him not following me. I do just that and he still will not follow. I am orbiting WP2 (the south end of the tanker track) and Smoke is out flying about doing his own flight plan. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  4. I was wondering what the status is of HB finishing up the simulation of the master test stuff like the emergency generator test and such?   6. I just finished a 90 minute campaign mission just for my wingman to collide into me two seconds after trapping on the deck using SC. Using MT version. Properly used comms, gave wingman the signal before the break. I was clearly on downwind way ahead of him. Never got a wave off. Even worse I got dinged for fratricide!! He collided into me. Come on.   8. So I haven’t played in a while, but I’m still running into this same issue. I was playing SP, George as CPG, and had him WAS the AWS. I had him target a trooper. Initially he was set to consent (yellow), but I was facing the target, TAD showed no obstructions, and I was stationary or barely any forward movement. He after giving permish to fire, he would fire the burst. However, target isn’t down, so I tell him to fire again. He does NOTHING. Flight conditions didn’t change, so he should be able to, but he doesn’t. I then change to fire at will (green), still won’t engage. After frustration ensues, I then turn the nose away from the target, then he pulls the trigger. WTH. Any ideas? Forgot: using MT version. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  10. Hey Flappie, sorry its been a while. I had a death in the family and everything was on hold for a while. I'm not sure what has changed since my post in July 8th, but it seems to have fixed itself. I tried replicating for a fresh log, but it wouldn't crash. Tried two different IA missions, too.   11. I’m having sort of the same problem with the exception that the laser wasn’t masked. My targets are hardened bunkers, and I set the bombs to do a penetrating attack. What happens is the bombs don’t penetrate the target. They penetrate near the target and explode without destroying the bunker. Any help on this would be great. I used an A-10C IA mission and modified it for F-16C use since it included a voice over and a variety of vehicles to practice on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  12. I’ve been dipping back into this aircraft lately. However, I can’t get very far. DCS seems to crash 5 minutes into the mission. These missions are Instant Action missions. I’m not using mods and on newest OB. This does not occur with other aircraft. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  13. Please, please, please…. (And this should be done for any aircraft that is either multi-role or ground attack) Include the “engage” as well as “engage with” type commands. It’s very frustrating that not only AI don’t attack the target you wanted him to attack, but they waste ammunition that should be used in a different strategic situation/target.   16. Oh, I just realized something. If you watch the track, I think the SA11 launchers are still alive. I reported this similar problem in a separate post a while back. Any kind of air defenses alive, and flight AI will wuss out. I’ll link it here.   17. Here's another example. Same mission. I see ground targets right in front of me about 2-3km away. The vehicles are stationary and in the open and not being blocked. I order -2 to 'engage targets of opportunity', and they immediately decline to. Move forward slightly, order again. Again, "unable". Was fully loaded, never been ordered to engage prior to this problem, wasn't under fire. So why is this happening? Here's a track of this particular problem. NOengageAH64
  18. I understand that this module is EA, and things are not in its final state. I’m trying to understand what is going on with my wingman and why he/she is doing what they are commanded to do. For example, my wingman follows me and stays in formation with great precision. No problem there. But once I tell them to engage ground targets (from a hover), the intelligence factor drops substantially. They will roger the command, state they are running in and start to drift down the mountain side and bob up and down, sometimes stop bobbing and switch to rocking forwards and backwards. While all of this is happening, the wingman doesn’t make a shot until this flight behavior occurs for about 1-2 minutes. This occurs even in between shots. Meaning once -2 makes a shot and kill, he will bob/rock in no logical fashion for about two minutes, then make another shot and kill, then repeat. Has this been reported? Is this intentional? I fail to understand why the AI does this when I don’t and I am able to get George to fire hellfires at a fraction of the time -2 does. I noticed this behavior while playing the Tsibli Guard instant mission. No mods installed, and it is a fresh install after a platform upgrade, latest OB. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  19. Sorry about the wait. Getting family stuff done after a trip is daunting at times. Here's the same mission without the MIST script. KABOOMwoMIST.miz Note: I just noticed you asked for a track file. That can be a problem, because the AI doesn't collide with the ground until just before it is supposed to land at Nellis. Which would mean the file has to be the full length of the mission to see them CFIT into the mountain side. It would be best just to run the mission and watch it in real time since the track files still tend to not follow what occurs after longer periods of time. BTW, I just tried this mission again without MIST Scripting. B-1 still finds the mountain side. No idea why.

I know Wags mentioned very briefly about this page years ago and I’m wondering why after so many items have been implemented, but why the BIT failures page is still showing things like the D/L, INS, IFF, etc are NOT RDY when in fact they are powered/aligned and working as expected?   25. This is true if you desire to have a course line on the TSD from WP 0 to WP 1. However, you still have the heading caret on the heading tape to direct you to WP 1 regardless at start up with waypoints entered before mission start or manually entered without present position entered as a waypoint.
