I'll add my video to the mix here. I narrated this for the members of my flight group and thought my ramblings may help others. I fly in VR and the beginning where I'm on the ground talking has a lot of head movement - it gets better once I takeoff. See chapters to fast forward to different sections. -

Thank you so much for this, @tobi and @Eight Ball. I got a chance to mess around with your baby a little bit since launch. I'll post a video for anyone interested. Just want to express my gratitude for the passion and effort you have put into this mod - I think it’s great. I hope we have some SMEs in the community who can comment on flight characteristics and handling. It flies much differently than the Huey and Apache that I am used to ... but then again, I'd expect it to. My HOTAS setup is a VKB Ultimate stick on a 200mm extension. I dialed in 10% curves into the cyclic. I was able to fly around and enjoy the bird a bit over the Marianas map. For me, the FM feels like I figured it would. I know there’s a lot of feedback on twitchiness – I’ve never flown in an OH-6 so I have no real grounds to base my opinion on other than the other DCS Helos I’m familiar with. That being said, I don’t have a negative opinion on what you’ve released. Where are the new ME assets located? Are they statics? Ground units? Sea units? Is there a list somewhere of what they are, where they are located in the ME and what they are called in the ME? What a great launch, fellas. Congrats. -

Yeah, ED said the Ch-47 was planned for June 26 along with Afghanistan so that sounds like their next patch drop. Can't imagine this drops at the same time as another new ED module, so it might be August before we're flying it. -
Don't know about base DCS. I doubt it. SRS does support it so I'd encourage you to go that route and save yourself the headache.

Try using speech to speech. You record yourself using tone, cadence, emotions, etc. then the AI converts your recording to another voice. No more phonetically spelled words and messed up paragraphs.

I suspect that plays a factor. I know several people that quickly ordered that first option by mistake.

There is no switch. On screen text is hard coded within the ME or script.

Just so you know, you can use JUST the debugger and not the rest of DML if you don't want. Shuussh .... don't tell cfrag ... that's what I do. Someday I may bring myself to learn more of his tooling. I'm just set in my ways after many many years of "mastering" the ED ME -

Hey @Exocet check out this awesome set of tools from @cfrag. He has an interactive debugger as part of this toolkit. You can look at variables, change variables and destroy units all from the F10 map. I use this debugger all the time for the missions I create. While it won't solve all your needs listed above, it will make some of your wishes a reality instead of just wishing ED updates the ME to be more mission creator friendly.

Concur. It was neat seeing a few names in the Q&A that I recognized from here. I like the Q&A format and really hope this isn't just for the 15th anniversary. This is the kind of thing that I'd like to see at some regular cadence. I know this takes a sizable effort from Wags and the entire team to produce so I'm acknowledging this this a large ask. The good will and transparency that this generates with the community, goes a LONG way however. EDIT: Wags said these will happen "every couple of weeks, or so..."

Waiting is not a problem, I agree. I'd much rather wait for a quality release that doesn't break things - regardless of what's in the patch. -

......and the new and improved QA process found significant issues last minute. Patch delayed at least a week. Glad they're delaying to prevent game impacting defects, however methinks game breaking defects should be uncovered well in advance of patch date. I suspect their CI/CD and QA pipelines need some attention. -

Based on what I heard yesterday in Casmo's interview with Wags, we can expect a patch next week (April) with the following one in June. I say this because he corrected himself in the video saying the Apache functionality scheduled next week was pulled for next patch in May... or June. He's likely setting expectations for June, which falls in line with their new elongated patch release cadence. I'm personally not expecting to see the F-4 until June at earliest. -
Spitballing here....does giving it an advanced waypoint command of engage group or unit have any effect? I've always wondered if you could get a reaper to engage. Great question!

Glad you found some value here, Rudel. My mission creation quality has really gone through the roof (IMO) because of this AI capability. I now have limitless voice actors on call who are willing to say whatever I want, in the exact same tone/inflection that I desire. No more WOPR sounding voices in my missions. For example, I recorded this the other day for a campaign I am working on using my voice (which sounds nothing like this recording). I ran my recorded voice through 11labs using one of their premade voices. A couple of quick adjustments later (using Audacity) and I have this. Good enough for what I need. UH60_Startup2.ogg

Thanks for the post @Wrecking Crew - I was going to suggest a script, but didn't have a great example. Not only did you post the text, but also the mission using it. Downloading for my usage later on.
