  1. +1 I won't consider the Harrier until I've evaluated the Mirage 2000C updates. Like many others.
  2. Hi rrohde, Thanks for your response to my question. Very much appreciated. Cats . . . .
  3. Well geeze, I wasn't going to put it that way. Now probably no answer to my discreet question. More can be gained from moderation. Notwithstanding the methodology of the follow up question, I am wondering if the Ilya mentioned is in fact Ilya Shevchenko (Luthier) from the very excellent IL2 series.
  4. :) vth_ind_color = {0,255,0,225}
  5. Looks nice. Will give it a try. Yes! Just tried it and it looks perfect for me. It's a keeper until I see what RAZBAM changes in the HUD.
  6. No, I don't know of any name other than RGB. I've used this from back in the early IL2 days. The fourth number is, I think for intensity/opaqueness or something like that. Only the first three define the colours. An easy way to choose your colour is as follows. If you have MS Word, go into a blank page, at the top of the screen you will see colour adjustments for text. Click in there and you should see a colour pattern running through the rainbow and all shades. Move the small "x" over the colour that you want and then check below. You will see the three number sequence for the RGB colours. Just copy them into the format for the HUD. That's it. Easy Peasy!
  7.
  8. Why? Just number changes in the same sequence - just changes colours. The file size is exactly the same size after the change.
  9. No idea, but if you go online, it will indicate to you with a red shield icon if it doesn't. Give it a try and send some feedback. My thoughts are that it should.
  10. The following will give you, Yellow HUD lettering: vth_ind_color = {246,216,34,225} Dk green HUD lettering: vth_ind_color = {47,174,2,225} Works in Alpha as well.
  11. "Here are the updates pushed today!" What does the above mean? Does it mean sent to ED for preparation for the next update? Thanks
  12. I think I saw in the lower right of the HUD - rate of climb/descent and I suspect that it doesn't require manual calculation if you stay between x and y rate. Will be interesting to find out.
  13. Try with V-Sync "fast" in the Nvidia settings instead. It is almost the same as not having any vsync but prevents tearing as it matches the lowest refresh of the monitor but not always. In my case 60 frames. Normal vsync can create some jerkiness as it tries to force the same framerate all the time.
  14. USBDeview.exe This is the utility I use to resolve the above. It identifies the USB ports and links to the Registry where you can modify the "Power Saving Mode" from 1 to 0 thereby nullifying the port from shutting down at presumed non-use. Note: Seems when big W10 updates become available, one has to reset them again. Sorry, no link but a search should show it. If not I can upload once I figure out how to do that. :)
  15. +1 The conditions are spelled out by WAGS and I can accept them. Unlike another module where it was not defined thereby leaving many feeling abandoned.
  16. Perhaps Lake Mead on the Nevada map? :)

    Back in the day!

H2H, Level pass - no break until crossing the 3/9 line. Tons of fun. Then the Hunt - Yup, dodging in and out of the hills. One scanning right, one left one low and then engaging for a free-for-all unless you got a good bounce. Full throttle, flaps down and circle until someone made a mistake. Who remembers the great Flanker Ladder? :)

    Back in the day!

I have my Flanker T-shirt and name in the manual as one of the Beta testers. Those were the days.
  19. Woah, quite a recipe list. Mainstream dessert worth researching. :)
  20. Hi BIGNEWY, Starch (carbs) is my big problem. Heritage northern Europe it seems my genetic profile is to consume as much carbs as possible to get through the lean winter months. Regrettably, the winter months in our modern culture are not so lean anymore - ergo, you know where it ends up. Sounds like an interesting read . . . . but . . . . when those craves arise - the cake and pie seem to twist both arms at the same time. :) Cheers, Cats . . .
  21. Sounds like my kind of squadron "O'l Number 70+". I've been at it since 1985 and my MkI eyeball is about a M1/2 eyeball now. :)
  22. I hear you Ramstein and can also identify with you. Although I don't know your issues and it's easy to offer remedies without knowing your health issues, know that you are not alone. :) Cheers . . . . .:)
  23. On the British side 2 of the big 4 would be the Typhoon and the Mossie. Sure could use a Lancaster as well.
