I've been using this combo for some time for both WWII and modern aircraft. The throttle switches are very useful in WWII for starter sequence, magnetos, cockpit open/close, gear up/down, flaps, rad open/close, oil cooler open/close, bailout, ordnance selection, propeller pitch, fuel flow on/off, fuel tank selection and anything else you want to map. The stick has some fine tuning capability, sight on/off, sight distance adjust, site type, guns, rockets, bombs (select drop or fire), knee map on/off and many others. So map to your convenience and imagination. I use the TM Target Script programming. Far more variables in programming. Cheers

Thanks guys. I think I'll hold on the CPU and MB and upgrade the video card. That should increase performance and I can transfer the card to the new gear later. Cats . . . .

Hi Guys, I've been running an I5 4670 OC to 4.2 Mh for a couple of years now. I'm just wondering if it is worth upgrading to an I7 and if so what would be a good choice that I can OC. Any guidance much appreciated. Cats . . . ps. Also thinking that I might get more benefit from updating my Vid Card from a 970 to ? instead. After my posting I see that my MB is running LGA 1150 and that is pretty old by today's standards which means a new MB and CPU to gain ? at this time. I'm retired and have to get the most bang for the buck and be ready for the FA-18C. :)

For me, TARGET script is the way to go. Tonnes of variables to implement if desired . . . . and its not hard.

Hello Zeus and Co. Just a hint - just a little one - can we expect any form of update to the Mirage 2000C this Wednesday? Anything? I've asked myself this question for several weeks now so I thought I'd ask outright for a hint. I need some positive news at this time and anything for my favourite ride would really help. Hi NeilWillis: Great Web Page. Are your modern aircraft constrained to the A-10 only for now and the future? Do you have plans to expand to multi-role aircraft such as the Mirage 2000C, Viggen, F-18? I ask because my aircraft of choice is the M2k until the F-18 arrives. I also can imagine that your Normandy direction will prove very immersive. Cheers, Cats . . . .

The Mirage 2000C is a great module despite some of the delayed features and corrections to identified issues. It is my aircraft to go to but at this time I have it sitting in the hangar until the next update hopefully changes a few issues that are important to me. New features as described by Zeus for weapons management and HUD are very feature rich and closer to the real Mirage. This is all happening right now but has been previously delayed as the developer RAZBAM has had to change their focus for a bit according to their needs and priorities and are now, as I understand it, clearing a bit of the backlog on features and corrections. This aircraft is a dream to fly and fight in. It will be some time until the F-18 is out and I would not fly any other jet in the interim. Then the F-18 will probably go through its introduction issues as well. :)

But not released yet so we don't know how it presents - I hope next update as CptSmiley indicates.

I think he means should he be making something for his effort in these wonderful creations. Work with the Devs? Charge for a download? Other? It's easy for us to say just make it available here or here but he has a studio to maintain and what does he get for taking the time out of his busy schedule to create sound mods for free? How does he protect them? Should he protect them?

It might be wise to wait a couple of weeks to see what they change (if anything) to correct some of the issues that have not been fixed for a couple of months. While it is the aircraft for me to go to, I am disappointed that the drag/power/flight envelope makes it unfliable for me and many others at the moment. (no need to comment myHELLjumper) :) Presently, I have it in the hangar. Cheers

Ground effect is usually half the distance of the wingspan from the ground where the air is compressed downward by the wings and compressing against the runway/ground, thereby creating additional lift and the aircraft or birds for that matter, start to "float" a bit. Wind at zero will not affect the ground effect.

Hi Jammer, I'm in this camp. M2000C is my aircraft to go to but regrettably I have had to put it away in the absence of upgrades required. I'm afraid though, that the longer I'm away, the less chance there is of me coming back as other components attract my attention and I will probably take a long hard look at the possibility of purchasing the Harrier. It will depend on the first reports of what is or is not working correctly. Cats . . .

Not close to being the most effective weapon. Destructive force of the 20mm Hispano canon much superior for one. Specs are all on google.
