  1. It will work in CLOD with a couple of lines added to the config file. I've been using it for years. But, since DCS I've gone back to the joystick lever on my WH.
  2. Interesting, I use comma instead of semi-colon in the CHAIN sequence.
  3. I will be placing my order tomorrow but . . . . . I have to say that I prefer the smooth finish. The rough "metal" look gives me a crude image feel. Unfinished if you will. Also, a dust collector in which we do not need. :) Cats . . .
  4. My apologies for being a bit off topic but slightly related: If an FC3 aircraft was purchased as a standalone, does it install as an additional aircraft or does it install under an FC3 folder? Even though I own FC3, is there an advantage to buying a standalone aircraft that originated in FC3? Thanks
  5. Thanks a bunch.
  6. Hi Guys, My new gear just arrived this morning and I will be installing the components this afternoon. My question is: Do I have to de-register all of my DCS aircraft/missions/maps before making the switch and then register them again after the new gear is complete? Because of board and CPU switch? Thanks, Cats . . . .
  7. Marvelous! Will go a long way to assist in pre-configuring my HOTAS. Thanks Zeus. Cats . . .
  8. Hmmmm, constipated?

Hi Jafa, Your Merlin sounds will go a very long way to create immersion. Something I miss greatly at the stage of development these aircraft are currently in. DCS IMHO, are not the best in this area. I would suggest that your Merlin sounds will go a very long way in providing simmers with an understanding and great appreciation of your warbird work as well as the Mig soundpack. I do hope you will reconsider releasing the Merlin sounds. I have been looking forward to them from when you indicated they were being tested by the Horsemen. Best regards, Cats . . . . .
  10. If you are cruising you can reduce rpm to 2500/2600. Keep an eye on your water and oil temp. When I go to 3000 rpm I open up the rad doors fully and keep speed up around 250+ and watch the temps. It also depends on how hard you pushed it before going to cruise. Temps will climb quickly if you pushed it hard. Cheers
  11. I have one from waaaaay back, nice T Shirt, well made.
  12. Check inside your VR. :)
  13. Just being a bit pedantic here but: there are no such things as Canadian Geese. Canada does not own any Geese. The correct term is: Canada Geese or Canada Goose. :)

  16. This and it works superbly! Sometimes I have to go in and check again after a W10 upgrade. Otherwise, once adjusted there are no unwanted USB timeouts because W10 thinks the port is not being used after a short while.
  17. Is this a Griffin powered Spit? Rudder and stick on takeoff is reversed from the Spit IX in DCS.
  18. Hi Corvus, Those were good times. I have my Flanker T-Shirt and name in the manual for beta testing Flanker 2.0 and that means a lot to me as I look back over the years. Cheers, Cats . . .
  19. Hi DD_Fenrir, Thanks for posting your takeoff and landing vid. Best one on this topic I've seen and it has helped me a great deal. I can now sequentially land but have to tweak my settings a bit more re: sensitivity on rudders for example so as not to over correct. Thanks again, Cats . . . .
  20. Nicely done!

  22. ///TRIM/// MapKey(&Joystick, H1U, REXEC(0, 25, "ActKey(KEYON+PULSE+';');")); MapKey(&Joystick, H1D, REXEC(0, 25, "ActKey(KEYON+PULSE+'.');")); MapKey(&Joystick, H1L, REXEC(0, 100, "ActKey(KEYON+PULSE+',');")); MapKey(&Joystick, H1R, REXEC(0, 100, "ActKey(KEYON+PULSE+'/');"));

    DECOL always on

Alternately, select center/reset trim/controls removes it after landing. For me in TM script: PULSE+L_ALT+'a'
