I tried a simple Red ship against a Blue Helo (Merlin) - helo crossing in front of Moscow, missiles bring it down every time. I then tried several other helo's to see what happens, missiles bring them down as well, eventually. Bullets dont appear to harm the Merlin. Some take more of a hammering than others, which would be reasonable I suppose. What I do see with the Merlin is that the helo once hit by a missile disappears, all that is visible is flames and a cloud of smoke sinking into the sea. I have no idea how to fix the bullets issue but I will try to fix the damaged helo issue.

A common, longstanding, problem with objects. Even if you remove an object in the ME and try to place something else over that position often as not it will end up high in the air. I have found over the years that if you move your new object slightly off the removed objects shadow (it's still there even after removal), you will find a position that gets it back on the ground. The trick is as you describe, if your placing 2 objects one over the other move both object a little off centre of each other, you have to play around with it to make it work, but that usually does the trick.

L3305 - RFA Sir Galahad. Slight changes to Upper Vehicle Deck, Flight Deck and a few other things needed to bring it up to UK spec. .

L12 - HMS Ocean. The only errors I can see is one side of the White Ensign is reversed, the other side is okay. No CIWS of course, otherwise very nice.

Doing the UK liveries would be easy enough, the LSL is version 2 of the Sir Galahad, the one built after the war, not absolutely correct but close enough for me. One texture issue I do see is what happens if you dont round off some of the textures plates, where one plate meets another. - see the image. We had this problem with some of the WW2 ships and Hawkeye found a way to correct it, you could ask him how he fixed that. Its present on all of the models. Otherwise, I love it.

The site has been like that for a while now with everyone's images, sometimes they show up, often they don't. I had trouble posting images a while ago, the site would take the image but all I could see was a flashing white page, and I often get that with other peoples images as well. No idea what the problem is, but your not alone. I blame aliens. -

There is a modern RAF Hospital complex at Cape Zevgari, not the industrial type buildings shown, and the Bloodhound Missile Site at Paramali to the SW of Episkopi has large fuel tanks on the old missile launch pads, all that is there now are the old launch pads, no fuel tanks. 2 very minor criticisms of what is now my favourite map, super job boys.

Admiral - Your CB-90H Fast Attack Craft. Do you have an .edm without the rather large flag on it, we trialled this craft a couple of years ago and I want to create a working Mod with it, but without the flag. The problem with the hangar door on the image above. Is it anything to do with the landing spot for the Merlin, it looks too far forward and the blades must be clipping the superstructure ? You might need to move that spot back a few feet, at a guess I would say the back wheels need to be on that deck strip just in front of the M and L letters. I appreciate that would make the lowered ramp VERY close to the flight deck edge but that is a very small flight deck and I suspect they had smaller helos in mind when they designed her. -

An enlarged version. There is a quick release wire across the top of the gaps, certainly on the left hand, unclear if there is one on the right but imagine there would be. None lower down the other ropes and wires are related to the mechanism to inflate it when it gets dumped over the back end, and something related to whatever that thing right in the middle is. Just realised the thing in the middle is the Marker Bouy for Man Overboard ... sorry about the crap image duplication, the site is doing some really weird things lately, cant delete that !!! -

Try these 2 Admiral, it shows the arrangement quite well. The guard rails do not go along the full width, there are gaps for the 2 liferafts to be rolled off the stern with barriers each side of them. There are 2 black lines that look like guardrail wires but that is the seam of the life rafts, it's a slight optical illusion. Different ship I realise, but I image they were all very similar in this respect. -

Given the in game issues with wheel animation for helo mods this Mod would look much better if you left the wheel down permanently. When helos are working with underslung loads or close to the ground for any other evolution it is normal to have the wheels down, and lets face it it would look better than hovering 2 feet off the deck with static blades. Just an observation. -

Admiral. There is a similar problem on the side window of the flight deck office, from the side you can see through that to the sea below, its only a small hole though, the black blanking behind it just needs extending a little bit to fill the gap. Super little ship mate, well done. -

Urbi - I have installed the Ch-53 and Admirals Patuxent and I have no issues with either the normal or glass texture files in our AW101 Mod - as you can see for yourself in these images. The glass on the CH53 is a mess but thats how it was when I last looked at it a while ago and there is nothing I can do about that. It may be something to do with how you have your game and other mods set up but I cannot replicate your issues , sorry. I tried to put the Ch53 on the Patuxent deck but it falls right through, nothing I can do about that either. I use a completely different Patuxent Mod.

Use the normal that's provided in the Mod. I cant do anything about people creating Mods that use the same name for texture files in different mods, I keep telling people to use unique names for texture files in their mods but that's all I can do, sorry. I dont use that version of the Patuxent, nor do I have the Ch53 so cannot see an issue with either. As more and more groups create ever more complex mods the issue of conflicts gets worse and worse, for example a US Flag, if you name it "US_Flag.dds" for example and anyone else uses that same name then the Mod that gets listed first in the Mission Editor will be seen first and thats the texture that will appear. If YOU were to change that flag to another country's texture then if it is listed above the other Mod in the drop down then thats the flag you will see. That is just one of the many Conflict issues that are getting worse, there are many more and I wont bore you with it. I only paint the Mods, others make them, I can advise and try to cajole but its up to them after that.
