  1. im having some problems with this mod in 1.2.8 to does anyone have the original 1.2.8 server.lua and views.lua they could uploads because I stupidly over rode them.
  2. I Fixed it I had an old copy of View.lua and Server.lua in my Saved games/DCS Folder. That is what was messing up the Co-pilot View
  3. this still seems to be broken in 1.2.8 is it going to get fixed. I can image if the throttle on the A10C only worked if you "pumped" it then it would have been fixed by now.
  4. Since 1.2.8 My co-pilot view is all messed up Front View Side View Rear View The Door gunner veiw is to low down to Aim. I have tried uninstalling the Huey Module and re-downloading it. Any other Ideas? I need help
  5. Yeah we definatly need the Hind it is a beast! I guess they are waiting to get multiplayer cockpit sharing implemented before they think about doing the Hind.
  6. I want to says thanks to Fudge for setting up his 2 rigs with the Hawk and to VEAO Simulations for making it! Some people managed to fly some good 2 plane formations. I test fly the Hawk and I like what I saw, the external model is looking fantastic and the Cockpit is definatly DCS standard. Me had Fudge had a quick dogfight in the Huey right at the end of the day. It is so cool to be flying DCS and then look around and see all these real Aircraft around you. Hind Cockpit The Mi-8 is huge! this panaromic photo doesnt do it justice.
  7. I made it to the Flight sim convention! I have just played war thunder on the oculas rift DK1 , God I feel sick! You only feel sick when you try to move your head sideways or up to see over the dashboard and it doesn't follow your movements.
  8. Yes, I thought this was next weekend and I couldn't make it. It is only 30 mins from my house. Im definitely going to go now! Edit: the only trouble is the traffic could be bad getting into Weston on a day like to day with 1000's of people headed to Weston beach
  9. There is a massive Oculus Rift thread here http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=93477&highlight=oculas Just saying.
  10. If it works perfectly why did 26 die when an F15C shot down 2 friendly Blackhawks? There is always room for human or machine error especially with complex systems in a wars zone. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1994_Black_Hawk_shootdown_incident
  11. Apart from the Su25T seem to have zero freedom in the Z axis , I cant move my head forward at all, it is like I have no neck! I can't even see my wings. I to have zoom axis mapped to my hotas which I use all the time.
  12. Well in all the years I have played I never noticed this! It must have been recently add surely? someone would have posted it before otherwise.
  13. I think 5th generation fighters have just copied the F22 and disproved your point slightly, China a getting better at making rip offs.
  14. I think Iraq and possibly Syria would be the best places to map we could have the most realistic missions based on contemporary real life accounts.
  15. Yes that was very funny, I have never seen anyone use DCS as a Micheal Jackson Moon Walking Simulator before.
  16. Yes you can do jumps but have you tried double front flips in an M1? like me!
  17. I have used VAC for a number of years mainly in DCS. It is reliable if you have a headset mic. The only problem with using VAC in DCS is the menus are sort of context sensitive (like the Airfields always show the closest one on F1 then descend in distance) This means you can either have every airport name mapped to F1 (because you usually want to speak to the closest ATC) or you will have to say F1,F2 etc instead of the airport name. Also a real pain in the ass is that different planes have slightly different radio menus. It can be really good for commands you don't use very often and don't what to map to your HOTAS but need to use quickly like jettison weapons. I have been thinking about writing some software that looks at the current DCS radio structure and builds a VAC profile on the fly, this would be the ultimate solution but I don't know if it is feasible or not.
  18. The Cockpit , Aircraft and Weapons look absolutely fantastic! I cannot wait to jump into this beauty. Sooo many switches to learn, I will be in heaven!
  19. Thanks for the Mission SimFreak. yeay!, after 1 hour of practice and nearly giving up in frustration, I managed to hover over the load long enough to pick it up Why did you have to park so many vehicles around it made it even harder! Cargo Cam worked fine for me (I have mapped it to my HOTAS Stick) I didn't know where to drop the load off so I just put it (Smashed it more like) near the fuel trucks. My load did have a funny few minutes and clipped throught the ground for a while when I hit it hard on the ground, Hopefully they can fix this? it would take me so much practice to get persistently good but over all a very challenging and fun experience, I love DCS!
  20. DCS 1.2.8.26442 Open Beta RC1 Change Log Can anyone enlighten me as to what this means in the change log? http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2041137&postcount=6 if it said "Corrected infantry descent from helicopters" this sprang to mind That would be so cool, but I doubt it some how :(
  21. Really top quality texturing as always Ricardo. Someone should pull up the weeds growing through the concrete through
  22. Yeap there is some big loads in those slings on the Youtube recommendations (BOOBIES!)
  23. As some others have said I guess the best progression after learning the Mig-21 bis would be the Mig 23 but I guess the systems would be less comparable with work already done on the the Mig-21. But I would prefer the Mig 23
  24. Cool thanks for the update Pat, I can't wait to see this project come to fruition.
  25. I have been looking forward to the Su25-T 3D pit since the original Black Shark was releases in 2008. I'm sure it will be worth the 5+ year wait.
