Too much transparency is not good either. It simply cannot work due to customers individual understanding capability. As far as I am concern I really don't want to load my brain with another trouble ticket system... I got enough of them in my career :). But I don't want to see an Yak3 shooting lasers while flying supersonic either :D @Wraith: I don't want another charts about blue lines draw with red marker :))) All I am looking for is about consistency.. if today this button is starting the engine, it should do same thing tomorrow and not be changed to pilot eject :)) (this example is just for emphasizing the ideea) @Bignewy: thanks for heads up about raising the standards. Good to know.

My point was not referring to early access, but more about how the modules qualities varies in time. Mig-21, Gazelle - both starts very good, the team members seems to work together. In time, modules quality degraded then shortly an announcement came stating a team splitting/divorce/whatever. Hawk and C101 had some key members left their teams - modules were degraded. Lately modules needs off the ground reworking... this might sounds great, as long as those team members will remain in place and they own what they are doing. If again they will leave, we might face another Hawk 3.0 version for example. And this is just a signal for the 3rd parties more, to be more careful in setting up their goals, their teams and the most important to have a proper assessment of their capabilities. Their internal affairs should not lead to product degrading at all.

Indeed, you are right! But we are paying for them to become a business and not a freeware mod. I think they are missing somehow this part :)

I am starting worrying about 3rd parties activities when talking about their product quality and how are they evolving or not. I am not referring here to anyone specifically because all of them (maybe except Razbam for now) have internal collaboration issues which are actually affecting their customers through the quality of their products. I know there are not much to be done either by us nor by ED, still this message is supposed to be just a signal for them to start be more selective during their initial setup process because the customer confidence will go down rapidly and people will stick only to ED/Belsimtek products sooner or later.

SU25T general performance

These airbrakes are not supposed to be used to hard stop an airplane. These are supposed to be used for various speed corrections while you are flying in formation, or in diving to not overspeed the airframe, or to correct the landing approach. They are as effective as their size allows to. Generally speaking I am very pleased with SU25T/A behavior and find both planes very pleasant to fly. You cannot expect to brake an airplane from 800km/h to 300 km/h in a matter of seconds. For this type of speed brake you have to consider other maneuvers like scissors, climbing.... etc. -
Before being a simulator, this is a PC game. Not all people who join this should go straight forward to hardcore simulation. There are also youngsters (as my son) who likes playing it... if this became too hardcore then they must become frustrated and just quit playing it.

There are only 2 FFB sticks: G940 and MS Sidewinder 2 ... forget about anything else. -

Your 4790 processor is under-running. Take a google search to find out how overclock your little beast. As far as I know it could work with no effort at 4.6GHz. It would help a lot your TI. -
the 480 bios can be updated to 580... for real...

Thank you MetalGear. I am gonna buy some hardware next month... then I will start make some tests. I might require your assistance during that time. I know that stepper motors are not desirable for this application, however during tests I am gonna use this type of motors then I am gonna switch to RC brushless outrunners. -
ED had implementing something called map clipping. If I am not wrong this is the next step allowing two distinct maps, that are actually neighbor to each other, to be somehow seamless transited from one to other, of course assuming you are owning both. If this first step is here then rest is just of matter of time. I also prefer manually worked maps more than those automated generated... it is something very itchy with these automated things.

This one have a linear motor. I have doubts regarding the precision of this motor to produce the exact effects, even if might be more resistant. The software part however is fully worthing to be analyzed. -
I just installed it. No time to play games, however general feeling while working on Windows looks improved to me. Quicker browsing, faster app openings... etc... No app compatibility issues for me until now.
-
We know exactly as you said.. is planned, but low prio or no timeline :). We just pinging time to time just to not be forgotten ;)

Could be a Raspberry a good option to replace Atmel? Or the delays might be increased too much? -
This time is an official statement listing everythig is transmitted. Is this good for us? No because of privacy data.... And yes because overall stabillity and compatibility is now increased. Google is doing the same... At least now we know exactly and we can take some measures.

As title says, here is the official statement about Win10 telemetry.

That test at 2:28 (scrolling text) is the most concludent one. Maybe for some would look just fine, but I can say that trying to stabilize/hover a Huey for example will be substantially challenging while on TV. Any FPS game will also suffer due to that lag. Also trying drifting a car wit Assetto Corsa will be more imprecise as well. Of course, this depends on individual needs, but I just emphasized some of my experiences.
-
Better try find some comparative tests for TV vs monitor... YouTube is a great source for this. The most important issue with TVs is related to input lag... and is pretty significant. Second one is related to clarity for some cases. If the TV is not a plasma is better to stick to monitors. (Plasma TVs are already history for now, but latest generations had far better characteristics then current IPS)

And on what is your opinion based on? -
This is my tuning for G940 throttle. Two more axis were added on left handle with normal pots. Several buttons added also on left, including one with 3 position. The G940 mod switcher on the right handle was reconnected to the Leo board and linked to a HAT view. Can easily be used as MODIFIER in DCS. The dust is also as part of mod :music_whistling: I really think that those 2 pots on left will be a nice addition on VKB thing.
