  1. Bombs and tanks now work as advertised. Thanks for the hotfix ED!
  2. I can't see any difference between todays and Wednesdays Normandy build. Great to hear that the Spits tanks are fixed!
  3. Thank you for the WW2 love ED! We are a group who have been playing the Spit extensively, so this is like X-mas for us!
  4. I tested now. What they did when told to attack with unguided bombs, was that they circled the target, climbed from our orginial alt at 5K feet, to 17,000 feet and dropped bombs like they were a strategic bomber:D
  5. No I did not. I did not even notice that was an option. I told them to engage ground targets "Engage targets of opportunity". Will try again.
  6. It seems they are improving it incrementally yes. I have never noticed those objects either.
  7. It would appear that AI wingmen at this point don't use bombs when these are equipped when told to attack ground targets.
  8. The strange thing for me is; the ATC works well: when I engage it, I see the throttles moving and keeping the airspeed I set, however, only one time did the "ATC" cue pop up in the HUD. Usually I don't get it, even though the ATC is clearly in effect. Anyone else see this?
  9. I see that in the "Special joystick" there are some useful commands. However, having these commands for 2 way switches (like the warthog throttle) would be VERY useful Radar ON/Else standby Master arm ON/ Else SAFE Exterior lights ON/ Else Off I am guessing others have others suggestions as well. Though I know it is possible, it would be nice to do thise without using TARGET or scripting.
  10. Look two posts above. It does not work for anything past version 1.5.X. If you for some reason have that build, it overwrites it, making your Caucasus look like Vietnam. But the file structure is completely different for 2.5.X making it obsolote and useless.
  11. The update is solid and the map looks and runs (relatively) great however "Removal of permanent structures from ALG airfields" is not done. Huge fuel tanks and stone buildings still all over the place. Still, it is a great improvement and a big step in the right direction. Well done team.
  12. Excellent mod! This is gonna keep me busy for weeks and weeks! Question: I got an inevitable "reenter and go around" call from the LSO after a less than impressive break, however- next time, I got no contact/response. Do you have to do something to 'reset' after you foul up a pass?
  13. I don't get HEADING SELECT to work at all. I tried different combos- but for some reason it does not turn to the heading the in the HSI. With and without ATC, with and without BARO/RADAR. The semicolons light up fine, the AC just does not turn.
  14. Cool- but how do I implement it? :)
  15. Thanks for the clarification!
  16. I'm no authority here, but I did notice a thing that I wanted to run by you. When I get ready to land, I extend gear and flaps and set on speed- usually around the 150 mark. In the manual GREEN is to FAST and RED is to SLOW. However, I get the opposite. When I drop down in the 130 area, I get GREEN. When I apply power and push 170, I get RED. Have I missed something here? You guys see the same?
  17. Just to chime in here: When setting take off trim, and taking off from an airfield, with flaps in AUTO- the aircraft maintains and VERY significant positive trim, even after gear is retracted- to the point where I need to hold the stick far forward to trim back. I assume this is what the OP refers to. Obviously we are missing something. The issue does not happen with cat shots.
  18. Yes- as far as I know, thats the point. But the handle- screw it onto your warthog base (Or the bases of other suppliers that has the same base configuration, like Virpil).
  19. Just bumped it in MP issues thread as well. It would also be nice if a fix would be shown in the changelog, so we would not have to host a MP mission just to test it:)
  20. Is this bug ackowledged at this point?
  21. I noticed as well. At least it is something. Hope more will come in June, when Wags said that WW2 would recieve some more attention.
  22. Sure. Here are a couple
  23. ... making me feel unwell. The blitz in the cockpit is so intense it felt dizzy. Not to whine, but it was at the point that it has to be off, which might be a problem in some situations. I felt genuinely unwell. Curious if it is just me.
