  1. Yeah, but it seems the tasks do not carry over always either..
  2. I have not figured out the logic of the loadouts and rearming. When goofing around with missions, I made a number of loadouts with poor naming logic and all sorts of random combinations and called the "AG1" and "Mavs" and "Test 1/2" etcetc. These loadouts have then been visible as options in later missions, which of course makes sense. However, later I wanted to sort this out. I went into the MB, deleted these loadout options. I deleted them, and made a series of sensible loadouts with proper naming conventions. I did this when the "CAP" role was selected, but I figured that tese air to air loadouts would also be useful for others, so I exported them to "Intercept" and "Escort" and "Sweep". In this mission all was well. However, later when I load up a mission, these new proper loadouts are gone, but oddly enough, my early "poor" loadouts were back, even when I checked different roles (Cap/intercept...etc). What is the logic here? I want to make proven loadouts that I always can select when choosing the rearm menu at the airfield. What am I missing?
  3. Can't spot the difference between the last two versions. 1.18 is still the best looking in my personal opinion:) Thanks for keeping up the good work improving the game!
  4. It is not going to be the pacific. The entire planeset rolling out along with the assets pack is western front. I am however curious that few seem to have picked up that Wags had a "Strait of Dover" icon on his menu for one of his Hornet streams not long ago. This would suggest a classic channel map, although I personally hope for something tilted a bit more north, towards Belgium and the Netherlands. But I got to be honest- the Normandy map was a crushing dissapointment after a very long wait, so I remain sceptical. Would love to be proven wrong though.
  5. Using the F-14, I am able to launch from the carrier catapult, however the few times I have tried I seem to break the nose-wheel, as it will not retract. Tried launching with and without weapons. Anyone have any idea?
  6. Incredible video! Well done!
  7. I preferred the last version tbh. This one was a bit coarse/grainy at medium to low alitude. Just my 2 cents.
  8. It has been this way for months and months. The bug is reported and they are well aware of it.
  9. If your mod became integrated in the game it would be beyond awesome.
  10. Am I seeing things, or has Wags used your mod for the last few vids he has made for the Hornet? :)
  11. Good update Mustang! Lovely stuff!
  12. Roger- you were right indeed! Got prompt help from tech support and you were right- I just though I had saved it, but I forgot one "save" step. Works like a charm now!
  13. Yeah- I did press "save device profile" And yeah- the raw input persists, rending the stick useless. Interesting that we experience this problem at the same time. Hope for an answer soon- hope it does not force my to get my hands dirty and open the thing...
  14. I seem to have the same problem. I am mailing this to support: I seem to have a a serious problem with my sensors. I have a T-50 base and a Warthog grip. When using the VPC config tool, I load up the profile, get 'SYNC'. After that, I calibrate axes. The sliders are initially bouncing all over the place, but after calibration, they settle down on the center and I press 'Set center and save profile'. All good so far. However, when in DCS, these values are not centered at all. My stick is pulling maximum left from the get go, and the plane is unflyable. I used Windows 'Setup USB controllers' calibration before, and managed to get it working for some time. I was later informed that I should never do this. Therefore I went to 'USB controllers' and pressed "Reset to default" before trying to calibrate with 'VPC config tool'. Is the controller whacked because I have used the windows calibration? WHat do I have to do to get it reset and get a proper calibration going?
  15. Thanks for this! Great stuff!
  16. Mind blowing reveal. Preordered. I just hope now that the HB will get what they are due. Great work guys.
  17. The logbook is whacked. I have some 15 hours total- and 10 hours in the Hornet. Reality is probably 500+ hours (for this OB install) and between 50 and 100 for the Hornet.
  18. It is standard for all modules to have a pre-sale period. I will be VERY surprised if you get a Tomcat in October. December (Or November) is more likely. I am betting that the countdown is for the unveiling/showcase. This is standard practice with a lot of tech/car companies as well. Build the hype- unveil- let preorders fill up, then release. It is painful to the consumer, but it is still good marketing.
  19. Going nowhere? The hype train stops with the release of one of the most longed for releases in ED history, completes with new carriers, AI assets, campaign, multicrew and jester AI. Like everyone else I'd like the release sooner rather than later, but anything leading up to the items above deserves all the hype no matter what. Heatblur just does it in style. Since we will have a live event- I would suspect a trailer, a feature showcase and probably a release date- but no matter what- as long as the end product is solid, that is all that matters.
  20. 1.Yes-But airfield installations are set up as ww2. 2/3. those towns are around the southern border of the map. Not sure if they are there. Most town are where they should be. 4. The map is more or less done, but occasional updates come along.
  21. Sethos is this photoshopped or reshade settings?
  22. I can confirm as well. Hoefully a new weather system will come sooner rather than later.
  23. I have the same problem- but on Caucasus as well. Non vr ok- with VR, crash/hang on loading.
