I don't know how to make the campaign itself A-10a, but you can make A-10c mission using its DCE, then open in the ME and change the aircraft and loadout. Should work fine.

A few shots from the Big Show

Me and everyone I know in the DCS community are permanently in beta. Most popular servers run it, and you get the new stuff and fixes asap. It might give you a bug here and there, but you can still get that in stable as well.

I will be throwing money your way- and I have several friends who will do the same. Will fly the F-14 and your future products for years to come! Bring on release day baby! :)

Thanks! Tried that- but it kept handing me the same miz anyways. But I can live with it, considering how good the campaign itself is:)

+1! Been having the greatest fun in ages using these campaigns- and to anyone having perf issues, use the "Prune" tool mentioned above. Just a minor question: Is it possible to make it so you don't attack the same target several times repeadetly? I am using the excellent "Hornet over PG" campaign, but have been tasked to attack the same harbour 4+ times in a row. I know it is because there are still units alive there, but some way to increase variation would be cool:) Can't wait for MBots finished Hornet campaign!

I have not seen this, but a squadmate reported that the introduction of CUBA, has messed with WW2 missions. Result: Third reich default to blue, switches place with Cuba in built missions, messing with all skins, units etc. Can someone verify? I am at work.

Seemd to have found my fix here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=118535 "Originally Posted by L0op8ack View Post Set CPU affinity automaticly while game starts . Add this line to "C:\Users\[YOURNAME]\Saved Games\DCS\Config\autoexec.cfg": affinity_mask = xxx xxx = cpu bitmask (decimal ) ATTENTION: affinity_mask=0 means all cores, default" So I typed in "Affinity mask = 0" and now DCS default to all cores! I suspect that some of the power/booster/priority etetcetc. settings of PL was the culprit- but I can't tell. As long as it now works- I am a happy man!:D

All the usual settings have been tried at length (Preload, shadows, mxaa, visibility range, etc) They make no difference. Power settings: Maximum perf, in NVCP, and Windows 10 general settings. Prerendered frames: 1 16 GB ram, installed on SSD. ( I know 32 is recommended, but I have been flying heavy MP mission for months and months without anything like this). I am 99% percent sure it has to do with the CPU settings, as I flew the exact same setup with a 1080 (not ti) before without issues. So its not the RAM, not the SSD, not the NVCP settings and not the game settings. No heating problems either. But when looking in Process lasso, I can see that the CPU has spiked, and that PL have been "doing things". Will continue to tweak settings- just wondered if any had experienced anything like this, fiddling with CPU affinity

A story of stuttering woes and CPU affinity, process lasso and stupidity. After upgrading to GTX 1080ti, I experienced smooth framerates, but had toubles with stutters. I scoured the forums, did the usual (checking drivers, deleting fxo and metashaders- trying different settings) but the stuttering was still there. I read that setting up cores could help. I used Process Lasso to tune my humble i5 3.4 ghz. I found that only two out of four cores were set. By enabling them ALL, either manually through Task Manager (has to be done every time DCS is started) or by Process Lasso- I found that my stuttering was all but gone, and I experienced a very solid performance overall. But in my stupidity, I might have clicked on more than I should… In game I was experiencing smooth performance, until missions became populated. Then I would experience HUGE fps drops, as the PC was “crunching” some new data, with FPS down in single digits. This would go on for 2-8 seconds, before the frames jumped back up to super smooth. This happened again, and again and again- ending up in these superlow FPS “crunching” session every other minute, almost making the game unplayable. So this is where I am at now: 1: Just have two physical cores selected (Set by default for DCS in Task Manager) : (Stuttering- very much so) 2: Process Lasso enabling all cores: Super smooth, with HUGE intermittent FPS drops lasting many seconds at a time. Both are unplayable in any enjoyable way. Any advice would be appreciated, but you can skip the usual tips related to tuning graphics settings, drivers and deleting folders in DCS. It has all been done.

That tool was fan-friggin-tastic! Doubled my frames, missions still work exactly as intended. More than doubled my frames in some cases! Thanks heaps!

Low level bombing delayed action fuses.
REDEYE_CVW-66 replied to Talisman_VR 's topic in DCS: Spitfire L.F. Mk. IX
Very good point. Have just read "Spitfire Saga", a massive multivolume depiction of the Norwegian 132 wing, who flew mk IX's from their days at North Weald to the end of the war, and delayed fuses are mentioned numerous times in the attack descriptions and reports just like you point out. However, given that the Spit has 1. Suffered from cockpit graphical errors for 6+ months without repair 2. Still has no working oxygen tank after its release ...I would not count on it being implemented anytime soon. -
Been trying a few of these. Just out of curiousity- what kind of FPS do you guys pull on a day one mission typically? Does not have to be accurat. I ask because I drag around 15 to 30 fps on my i5 3.5, gtx 1080 ti 16 gb Ram, SSD. I realize that my CPU is probably the culprit, I just wonder what people with decent systems manage to get here. I tried both the F-15 (Nevada) and the F-18 PG, campaigns with very similar results. Playable, but just barely.

Red Flag Training Missions - F/A-18C
REDEYE_CVW-66 replied to beppe_goodoldrebel's topic in User Created Missions General
For some reason pressing "Spacebar" does nothing for me. Can't figure out why... I had the same problem with an m2000 mission from Baltic Dragon. It is NOT bound to anything else. Nothing happens when I press it. Real shame as I would love to enjoy these missions. Also- might I asked what software you used for the voice overs? It reminds me of another sim:) Would love to be able to produce similiar voice overs for missions! -
Replace the legacy static objects with the new ones

Agreed. A lot of the WW2 themed buildings as well, such as control towers, hangars, storages, barracks etc would be great to be able to place. -
Question about interim canopy bug solution
REDEYE_CVW-66 posted a topic in DCS: Spitfire L.F. Mk. IX
Sorry if I am beating an old horse here. With the 'double canopy bug' being around for ages with no end in sight, I am looking for interim solutions. I saw someone mentioned the 'clean canopy mod'- https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/2315459/ However, this does not seem to work for me (I don't see any changes- possibly due to file renaming/restructuring in later versions). Have anyone made a mod where the glass i 100% transparent? I know it is not optimal, but the way I see it, it is the best option in the current situation. Any ideas? -
Having tested this a bit- I love the high contrast on the panels, however, the green in the cockpit is more like the green in American fighters, while the spits usually were much brighter, as pr default textures. If you could compromise these, I think it would be an overall improvement.

I just hope that it will be possible to issue these commands WITHOUT the Jester 'Wheel' becoming visible. I noticed in the latest preview vids- that some of the most common commands were possible to keybind, while some of them required the 'wheel'. It would be very helpful for immersion if giving a VA command to Jester would simply generate a response, rather than to see the wheel come up, then seeing the commond being selected, and then hearing the response.

a new and exciting World War II map in development
REDEYE_CVW-66 replied to Captain Orso's topic in Wish List
Even though people wish for assorted theatres and contemplate what the competition is doing, the Netherlands/Belgium/Germany (Rhine) is the only logical step that makes sense for our planeset. Never mind what the competition does- this is where these aircraft flew and fought- it is a varied landscape that can utilize all 4 seasons and makes perfect sense. I am hoping ED sees it the same way! -
This looks fantastic!

Will the color of normandy trees ever be fixed?
REDEYE_CVW-66 replied to Wolf8312's topic in Western Europe 1944-1945
No you are not the only one. It has been discussed at length in other threads. The trees are one thing, but there are many more things to bring up but it has been done already with little effect. I would not expect much more to happen to this map though. Fingers crossed for the new WW2 map in development (Last newsletter).
