  1. Such thing should have been done a long time ago. In FC1 times I heard that engine is too limited. In FC2 times as earlier. In FC3\DCS: World times I hear it is still not makeable to simulate. I don't know what can be so difficult to simulate .... engine smoke, which is one of the primary aircraft's attributes (even very lightly visible).
  2. Nice move. SARH is more adrenaline-makable then just ARH spam, however I must say flying an Eagle at 60 000 feet and killing poor MiGs is nice too :)

  11. What about TTI timer for Rus birds? As far I know it's been proven to exist in SK manual so it is none of "science fiction" and it has great battle value for a pilot.
  12. LMAO Again thread where answers for OP take about 1/10 of whole data. Rest of talking as always regards the moaning about how p00r Su-27 is and F-15 is super ultra mega killer. Touching OP sentence about missing Su-27. Yes it'd be very nice to have Sukhoi family in DCS, even theirs rusty Su-27S (K) to which manual has been available for long time.

  14. Now it is all clear ;) In World of Tanks there are many icons which represent example tank condition, players names, coalition, group and so on. I would go in this direction but also providing live map for artillery (same like in WoT) where you could see where and what you shoot at. That also with radius circle of range (just overlay on the map).
  15. Radar is the main component of large variety ground playable SAMs in CA. It is obvious this should have be on the list with high priority. TOR, OSA, Tunguska ect are limited in many ways without such feature. Tunguska neds some visual "lock" feature also to provide better Saclos.

  20. I say it straight - n00bs will have problems with that plane. Pr0 players will have better efficiency than pr0 A-10C players :) So learn, learn, learn :)))
  21. I am surprised it still hasnąt been fixed in FC3 when in FC 1 launch sequence was correct. Now we have AFM missiles so its launch animation sequence should be corrected in much more way. Let's give ED time for this task.
  22. I'd be more pleased of new 3D cockpit of Flanker than external 3D model which can be downloaded easily thanks to 3GO. Anyway nice to see evolve :)
  23. AP channels have gone off I guess :) Look at 4 blue buttons on the right panel. If they're flashing (or are off) you are in trouble...
  24. Zooms are stored in Ka-50 files (cockpit folder). I forgot which one because I haven't changed files for long time and I am without access to the other PC but I managed to test various zoom levels there. File you've changed doesn't apply player's view.
  25. Well from what I see most servers put old same missions. Some of them are good - example 104th and few of STP. But most servers (private or public) have habit to use STP missions which are nice but they've been used for a long time. People even know what, where and how many enemy units will be deployed in third enemy convoy after destryoing second bunker in the first phase :) There is also pointless tu put only A-10C, or Ka-50 in missions. I've seen a lot of them where you could fly only either GheyTen or Ka-50 together. CA in missions is also a problem. Some of them have just great potential to be used with. But they aren't, even if do sometimes I see player can drive ZSU-23-2 on Ural truck only... against A-10s. Really entertaining. In one mission I was in Tunguska where 4 GheyTen was about to take over my airport. I managed to kill 2 of A-10s and hide quickly behind the building. Then killed 3rd A-10 and been killed by other which I didn't see. It was great fun, experience. A-10C pilots learned they can't beat so easily human controlled SAM, I learned new hiding tactic and how to kill Mavericks in flight :) But I rarely saw such missions over there. I don't see the potential of CA is being used very well. Perhaps with CA in FC3 will be better :) OK, you are impressed :D
