  1. I'm not sure whats the weather in this mission is about, especially temperature. Temperatur does have a huge impact on the performance of your engines and so to your whole flight envelope.
  2. Oh, that makes sense! Will try, thanks!!
  3. Actually it's mission 7 "Surpression". Sorry for the confusion
  4. Has anybody else problems finishing mission 9 (Surpression)? The one with the Opfor on the run. Mission seems simple to me but after taking all targets out and landing at Kolkhi i just get 50% results though!? Maybe I miss a trigger but can't figure out where and when.
  5. What are your procedures with the altimeter settings? For myself I usually just fly with QFE from my departure throughout the whole mission and all altitudes (and heights :music_whistling: ). So do you set your altimeter to standard if climbing or descending through transition altitudes or levels? Or maybe even calculating the QNH yourself? BTW does the altimeter setting does have any impact on weapons delivery? E.g. the cluster units?? Never experienced in DCS but maybe I.R.L. there is something to know about.
  6. It did! Tested the mission twice. Good hunting!
  7. No Sir, i was also wondering about that yesterday but forgot to mention
  8. I ran DCS World 1.5 via Steam with following Modules: F-15C, A-10C, and CA. Now I have installed DCS World 2.0 Standalone with the new purchased NTTR. So far so good, all Modules are registered and activated except the Eagle. I purchased it via Steam like the others but it just doesn't show up on 2.0. I also have tried the registry file provided from DCS but with no luck. Can anyone brighten this up for me? Do I somehow have a F-15 (FC3) version that doesn't fit for 2.0? I did a forum search but couldn't find anything too helpful for my case. Help appreciated!! Thanks
  9. dunno what's hotter, hog or jockey :music_whistling:
  10. I like the idea and I can imagine that in a Multiplayer environment this would be very helpful but I LOVE fumbling around in the cockpit with the menus and flipping knobs - that makes it feel so damn real :pilotfly:
  11. Never heard these before so I just wanted to share with you... May the GAU be with you! :pilotfly:
  12. Was me in the Hog. Engaging a huge convoy on the Open Conflict Server I was hit by AAA and SA-8 but still tickin and so I made my long way back home in my riddled Hog afraid by getting finished up by some enemy air assets...but there was a good guy giving me some cover all the way back home. And I made it! Thanks Razgriz_37, was a pretty cool online experience which gave me a warm feeling of being not alone in this! +10
  13. Mate, cannot tell you how often I started this 'mission'. Never made it the whole way around. But...for more adventure and being able to visit some smaller airfields I tried it in the King Air. Tops fly Props!...even if they not gonna make it :music_whistling:
  14. I see! Thanks fpr your quick help!
  15. As the topic says: How can I release the hookship Symbol from HUD? Appears when I set a Markpoint or Navpoint etc as SPI right? Thanks
  16. greedy gun run Getting too greedy for kills on the ground in one single gun run I very often end up with the ants :joystick:
  17. Can be calculate with: G = 1 / cos ( Bank)
  18. HA, it's not an RC plane - it's an armed drone :pilotfly:
  19. Graphic issue Looking for a thread corresponding to this wasn't succsessful so here's the thing... Does anybody have the same issue?? And possibly knows how to fix...
  20. Thanks for your feedback - and it makes sense as I know that jet engines can't stand negative acceleartion for long but just to make clear - I did a Split S or negative Immelmann. So I turned upside down and immediately pulled the stick into a about 3 - 4 G positive recovery. There was very short negative acceleration. Doing a clean Split S maneuver there shouldn't be no negative G at all - if it's done right. But u know what - gonna try this again and see what happens... Anyways many thanks for your help and feedback! Will let you know if it happens again!
  21. I need your help again... During my last training flight I put out some random Trucks and non-armed vehicles on the map. After emptying my stores I had some gun left. I overflew some trucks at 6000ft and then turned upside down to pull onto target again for strafing. Before getting my hog stabilized and horizonal the Master Alarm went down - checking what happened I figuerd out that the EGI was gone, immediately I climbed out to a safe level and attitude starting to assess what happened. With no luck. No hits, no button threwing, nothing. Well back home I landed (after inflight aligning failed) and parked. Resetting the whole system didn't bring my EGI back to live. Investigating the debrief messages there was no sign of a hit. Furthermore as mentioned the vehicles were unarmed. Any ideas? I know the most logical solution would be that I hit a button but I'm pretty sure not to. One more weired thing is that I shut down both engines to have just the APU running while trying to bring EGI back on, the right engine fan keept spinning and also gave me a low oil pressure warning after well quite a while. Also had some low indications on the temperature and rpm gauges for right engine. I shut of both at more or less same time and left engine was just cold. As a bloody beginner this is the information I can give you, maybe you got an idea what happened around the corner... Thanks!
  22. 'C' Button on keyboard is what I was looking for. Thanks guys!
