  5. AFAIK the "Taxi to Cat X" response from ATC didn't make it to the OB release so for now you just taxi to a cat of your choice 'til the shooter recognises you. Then just follow his instructions
  6. :megalol::megalol: I watched it as well. I suck too in the merge. The most important thing in the merge IMO is to always keep your eyes on your oponent and always be aware where he's heading to. What helped me a lot here is to zoom pretty far out so you have a huge field of view. And keep in mind that the AI cheats by having the simple flightmodel
  7. I do have the TM.16000 too. No probs here. I have set the curvature to about to 20 or so. 25 seems ok to me but should be nice and smooth then. Deadone set to 2. Only with the Eagle I have to push the curvature to 30 or even more. As long as your sticks works clean, set the curvature at your discretion til you feel comfy. Only if you start doing AA refueling you might get in trouble with the less sensitive settings.
  8. @Surrexen Man, I can't tell how much I enjoy your outstanding and immersive missions. Big thanks to your effort!! I'd have a question or an idea or take it as whatever you like - do you think you could make some coding or triggers that'll make it possible to noticeable weaken the Opfor airpower? Like taking out Airfields would decrease the spawn numbers of enemy CAP - to finally gain complete airsuperiority? Maybe thats too much or maybe it simply doesn't meet your idea of the mission set - then disregard. Just an idea that came to me while driving my Hog at the Caucasus Theatre desperately disengaging from one furball to another. - Which was quite fun, though... Obviously I have no clue of coding or triggerbased mission editing, otherwise I would give a try myself...
  9. For me the new Cockpit has a huge impact on FPS. Did you fly the hog with the new cockpit before your system reset? AFAIK ED is working on this but I don't expect big changes before relase of the A-10C 2.

    Lighting

    At least your first picture was taken with long-time exposure so it appears much brighter as it was for sure. I'm pretty sure that there is not that much light and for a reason. You don't want to expose your ship to everybody and further more the night-vision goggles would burn out. Just some thoughts
  13. Don't know the reason nor the solution but I think this is WIP as the same happens when having the MAV-F on screen and the TGP on the other. The button / function for FOV and CCD always refers to the MAV screen.
  14. This! It's a simulation, as good as it gets till today. Never heard any witness how it feels to get pounded from Warthog 30mils even from meters away...
  15. Guess you're right with having the target obscured from the mountains. Either go pretty high or from the right direction does the trick here. Not quite sure as this mission is some time ago for me but coming from south-southwest you should get it as the valley opens up to this direction - so you're flying into the funnel. I used to knock out the Bunkers with MAVs and the AAA with CBUs used in a wide spread. Did the job but it's kind of cheating, i know. Tough mission in the first place but if you know how to set up your Markpoints on the CDU it's doable. Good hunting!:joystick:

  19. Don't want to be a smartass here but: According to NATOPS it's only bus 1,2 and 4. NATOPS III/7-14 "With external electrical power - 1. EXT PWR switch - RESET 2. GND PWR switches 1, 2, and 4 - B ON (hold for 3 seconds)"
  20. Don't know about the VR thing but I remember there was already a thread about this. The lever works like in the real jet. It's not done by just clicking it. You have to click and hold for a sec as the lever has magnetic mechanism or so. Correct my if I'm wrong but I think it was that way...:music_whistling:
  21. I had the same some days ago but after quite some troubleshooting and fiddling with settings and buttons I found that I accidently set the bomb quantity to 4 by just having 2. So either a stupid mistake by myself or it happend somehow. I'd recommend to check your weapons profile again carefully. Maybe this helps...
  22. It's the wind influence indication. AFAIK in the A-10 there's no way to cage the HUD.
  23. TWS is still WIP and not implemented yet. In short.
