  1. I can confirm this. Also made a SEAD mission with some Vipers and AGM-88s. The HARMs just starving short of the target and hit the ground.
  2. Happend to me right now after yesterdays stable update. Set master arm on, A/G mode on, selected JSOW/A, switched from WP1 to WP2 and hit WPDSG. Nothing happend, the TGT was flashing in the HUD for a sec but went instantly back to WP. Bug or lacking kowledge - the only topic I found was this... EDIT: Ok it works now like a charm on all maps and configs...don't know why and sorry for bumping this up - must've been a Human Interface Bug...
  3. So is the 83 for me too. I'm really not good with dumb bomds but with the 83s I get the job done. Find it easy to use and you don't have to snipe the armor like with the 82s.
  4. Ok so we know that the Captain and the CAG has some HF foldable fishing rods aboard for their time off-duty. What are the backward thingies then? Some kind of parking bumpers? Would think that only the new Ford-Class has an integrated park-assist...

  9. I don't have too much insight the other way around but I'm pretty sure that only Nvidias Quadro or AMDs Pro or CAD cards have a true 10bit output. The consumer cards just extrapolating the colors. Looks better but isn't real e.g. bt2020. I just had my nose in these topics as I wanted to step up with my Films/Videos produced in a closed 10 bit chain. Edit: Just found out that 10-bit works for DirectX now. Consumer Cards still doesn't put out professional 10-bit in OpenGL though.
  10. I'd highly recommend to turn the easy comms off. AFAIK it's bugged anyways and getting used to easy comms just gives you more trouble when switching to other planes/modules. I know it's another step mastering the hog but you'll apreciate it when getting in a multiplayer cockpit. And in the end it's a bit more realistic and even more fiddling with the buttons and switches - which I, personally, love a lot
  11. A.I. uses simplyfied phyics. No way to outrun, out-climb or out-turn him.

  14. Just a Single Player setup. In other words like Pikey said: It's a pain to get some AI operations going on without bugging the whole deck. But on the other hand...the crowded deck looks so darn sexy:worthy:
  15. I suppose the Suite 7 will never be a thing. I remember Wags saying what a process it has been with the Hornet to get the agreement /contracts from / with boing. I think it's been the same way with the hog. We have a formidable Pig and I'm happy with it. There'll always be a newer ober better feature. What I try to say is: guys, stop begging for Suite 7. I won't happen.:music_whistling: The only thing I really wan't to be fixed is the lighting, internal and external and the colors of the TGP feed. I know it works but doesn't look very pleasant since deferred shading. But afaik it's in progress so keep waiting till there's a light in the end of the tunnel...

    So wie es aussieht gehen die direkt auf die Launcher. Wird ja sehr akademisch aber da wäre dann die Frage was die HARM vorzieht in ihrer Ziel-Logik: Höhere Frequenz des TR oder eher höhere Leistung des SR...:smartass: Und auch immer der Unterschied zwischen DCS und RL

    Jau, ist in dem Fall ein SA-11 Site mit 8 Launchern. In der Mitte noch ein SA-15 zu Nah-Verteidigung, aber das soll uns hier mal nicht stören. Ich hab 4 F-16 SEAD drauf angesetzt und wie gesagt SR und TR explizit als Ziele zugewiesen. Alle HARMs die an der SA-15 vorbeikommen, zwischen 6 und 12 von den 16 gehen alle auf die Launcher. Immer. Aber mal Butter bei die SAMs - die AGM 88 wird und kann IRL nur auf das Radar abgeschossen, richtig?

    Kann mich einer mit seiner Weisheit erhellen? Die HARM findet sein Ziel durch die Radaremissionen eines Bodenradars, richtig? Wieso und wie überhaupt werden dann vom AI immmer/oft die Launcher angegriffen bzw zerstört? Die Launcher senden ja keine Emissionen aus oder? Ist das eine Unzulänglichkeit von DCS oder hat die HARM einen 'schlauen Trick' um vom Radar auf die Launcher zu kommen? In jedem Fall würde ich es bevorzugen der AI würde sich auf das Search bzw Tracking Radar konzentrieren. Ich hab eine Mission erstellt und bei den advanced Waypoints sogar die Search und Tracking Einheiten als Ziel definiert. Leider landen die HARMs immer in den Launchern. Meine Frage bezieht sich aber tatsächlich auf die HARM, nicht auf den ME.
  20. Just a quick one - had no search results here - any chance to find the ground speed displayed in any of the Hornet's sub menues? Maybe dumb, maybe blind, couldn't find anything...
  21. As I don't have the M2000 I can't test it out, sorry. The description says it's designed for the M2000 so swapping to the A-10 may cause some issues. Sorry that's all I can tell from here...:music_whistling:
  22. Works as supposed for me. Usually there's a trigger issue if JTAC isn't responding. Is it a certain mission where it's not working?
