Doesn't seem to be working for me. The runways/taxiways still look the same. The rest of the terrain is the mod. Can't figure it out.

I'm getting some shimmering with the grass....is that normal?

For me.....#3. IMHO maps for various theaters are badly needed (Korea, Viet Nam, WWII Pacific, etc.). I own the P51 and enjoy flying it from time to time. I can't see myself purchasing any additional WWII aircraft until there is a WWII map.

ABSOLUTELY!!!! These textures should be part of the map by default. It would make things simpler when updates are pushed out that might affect the DLC. ED should compensate Starway to work his magic on the NTTR map as well. There has to be a way to make this viable financially for all parties concerned as well as fair to the customer.

For those who may be wondering how the DLC compares to the Northern Europe Mod (as I was)....the DLC is very much an improvement. I made some comparisons after downloading the DLC and the improvement is fairly dramatic. I had no qualms about donating. If you liked the NE Mod, you will love the DLC.

I don't believe the Gazelle is any more difficult than the Huey. Both are a challenge at first. After some practice they both become a lot easier to handle. From what I've read, the DCS Huey is pretty realistic. Keep in mind, the US Army was training kids that were barely older than teenagers to fly them.

No AAR doesn't sweeten the deal.

Could we some screenshots comparing Starway's proposed DLC to the NE mod? Wouldn't that be a good marketing move? Wouldn't folks actually want to see what they are buying. The terrain in Wag's Gazelle videos looks like the mod.

We've been using UR and I personally like using it very much. It adds a great deal of immersion.

I'm glad you posed this question. I am very interested in real world tactics in this regard as I have the same issue. Whenever I fly lead (I use that term loosely), I have the flight go tactical spread as we near the AO. To my mind, it then allows wingmen better situational awareness. That's just my common sense approach, I am very curious to find out how its done professionally.

Do you have videos highlighting your comms, procedures, etc??
