As requested.....It freezes while "LOADING." I have to CTRL,ALT, DEL. dcs.zip

I have a number of missions, simple in design that I had created some time ago. Since the most recent updates for both 1.5 and 2.0, the missions will not load unless I load them through the Mission Editor. Once they do load through the ME, the briefing area is blank. The mission will work perfectly, but like I said they are simple (AAR, target practice, etc). I tried saving the mission in the ME and then try to open it the conventional way without success. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I spent many years flying various flight sims. Nothing else really can compare to DCS. They have truly set the bar. Sure, we all have our pet wishlists and frustrations (nature of the beast), but in terms of quality, DCS can't be beat. I'm very much looking of forward to what is on the horizon.

They aren't on the DCS map. Unless I'm just not seeing them. For example, DRAKO is a FAF for RWY 32 @ Tonopah. It's not on the map.

I use Skyvector with XPlane frequently. The navaids are already recognized by the GPS/FMS in XP/FSX/P3D. Unless I'm missing something I would have to take the L/L for each NAVAID from Skyvector and then plug them into the CDU and then create the FP. It would be nice to already have them past off the database in Dcs much like the airfields are.

The kneeboard has tons of info including approach plates. However navigation fixes, etc. are not indicated on the map. I was hoping they would have been programmed into the A10C CDU for creating a flight plan.

Sometimes I just bore sight the TGP which will take it out of GIMBAL.

Yup....that's normal. I would go with RyoPops suggestion if it's bothering you.

I confirm the above posts....several misses.

....one issue for me.....you can't see stars at night without using NVGs. I'm guessing that was done to accommodate VR.

It would be nice to see some white caps on the Black Sea but I'm guessing that would be a performance hit that would be too much to overcome for some systems.

Any word as to when MFG is going to make combat pedals for the Cross winds?

Last evening I saw a "TEST SERVER" up on the Nevada map entitled Pilotedge. Does anyone know if Pilotedge (https://www.pilotedge.net/) is considering DCS or is the PilotEdge server I saw something totally unrelated?

In the real world, are offsets given for target locations? Any real world JTAC training that I've listened to uses MGRS.

Does this affect gun/rocket aiming reticle s?

You might want to join a squad that offers training. You'll learn a lot faster flying with some experienced pilots.

That's like asking guys the flavor of their favorite ice cream. Both campaigns are excellent and of the highest quality. They are of different styles, but that's a positive. Variety is good. You really need both. You can't go wrong with either....but trust me....both is better.

I was always hoping for something like this but a lever for the landing gear that looked more like a real world lever. Not a big deal. It's pretty expensive considering many guys will be moving to VR and the box won't be of much value then. I would have to see reviews of the released product.

Looks fantastic! But, being a NJ Devils fan, it's hard to look at the wall....really hard.
