  1. I definitely felt a difference. I had set my pitch/roll Y saturation to 50 in 2.0. I have everything set in 1.5 to default. The aircraft is much less twitchy. I kept going back and forth between 1.5 OB and 2.0 thinking maybe I was imagining it. I wasn't. I'm convinced of the difference.
  2. Well done and thanks.
  3. This is a real world example of the scenarios we have to look forward to with the SOH map. I cannot wait... http://www.timesofisrael.com/iranian-commander-threatens-to-close-strait-of-hormuz-to-us/
  4. I'm thinking once a few more airbases are added, it may afford the distance required to set up a MP mission much like the venerable 104th does. Right now a little more distance is needed for A2A/Red v Blue.
  5. What would be the difference between adjusting curves/saturation with default controls and using Easy Controls?
  6. You mean we may lose the triangle mountain tops?
  7. Compared to 1.5, there isn't much going on the 2.0 MP list. More so now because the Gazelle is only available on 2.0. That should change once it is released on 1.5. My guess is that once the new 1.5 terrain DLC is released, there will be even less traffic on 2.0. IMHO, Starway's Northern Europe mod changed the face of 1.5 for the better....the new DLC will hopefully take it a step further. ED might want to consider having Starway take a look at all of their maps.
  8. This aircraft is outstanding and I'm super impressed with how few bugs there are for a first release. The Polychop team has done an outstanding job. I will definitely be taking a serious look at all of their future releases. Congrats, guys.
  9. Baltic's mission are always a learning experience for me. That's what I love about them. I either learn a new aspect about the aircraft's systems or I learn something about how I need to manage myself or my flight. IMHO.....For more advanced pilots, they are a challenge that puts your skills to the test in a realistic scenario. If you are newer to the aircraft, I can't think of a more enjoyable way to train.
  10. This thread should be interesting.....I can hear Sithspawn running down the hallway now......
  11. Yeah, I've flown with Joe (aka WindyPants) a number of times. He is an EXCELLENT pilot. If he says its a challenge, its a challenge.
  12. What is the process for gifting a module?
  13. The Polychop team has done an excellent job with a new release. There aren't any major issues thus far that I can find. The manual needs some work but I was able to create a quick checklist for myself for start up and weapons with little trouble. I'm very impressed. I look forward to updates and future work from this developer.
  14. It's his breath I'm having trouble with....whoa!
  15. Thanks, Spider.
  16. The training tutorial indicates that the pylons can be selected with the "D" key. That isn't working for me. I also noticed that the "D" key is not mapped in the controls list.
  17. On the Huey you can use the Right Shift+P. I'm hoping for the same option on the Gazelle.
  18. She looks beautiful. I was wondering, will there be a future option to remove the co-pilot as we have in the other modules?
  19. I would like to find something with a "gear" handle as well as rotaries and buttons.
  20. Ranger's missions have always been very immersive...which for me is everything. When flying his missions (OP Takeback and Welcome to Suse are two of my favorites), it becomes very clear, very quickly that the mission designer has real world military experience. Anyone who has been part of this community knows Ranger's work is always of the highest quality. For an A10C junkie like myself, I'm putting this DLC on top of the list of the many exciting releases that are forthcoming from ED.
  21. Good luck with the release. Props to ED for the price reduction.
  22. I'm holding off for now. No doubt the experience is awesome. However, like golfers buying a $500.00 driver (only to find his scores haven't improved), new purchasers spending hundreds of dollars are going to rave about VR at first...I would too. I'm going to let the dust settle some and see what the reviews are in August, September.
  23. It seems to me that Beta is somewhat subjective. Some releases were/are in beta and the aircraft is very flyable and then there are others that are not. I'm guessing that some developers may call it a beta because there are bound to be some issues no matter how much careful testing is done. I've regretted beta purchases in the past, but the Gazelle will be a day one buy for me.
  24. I assumed that would be the case. If not, hopefully someone will create a mod that does.....STARWAY, ARE YOU LISTENING? Our luck....it will be a DLC.....but for $15.00, I'll buy it.
