You are probably in the majority, however being a flight sim fan (I'm not a gamer) I enjoy flying the Nevada map very much. I've always enjoyed training just as much as flying a combat mission. To me, a lot of the immersion comes from my often pitiful attempts at proper comms, airbase procedures, etc. I've flown a number of missions created on the NTTR map simulating a Mid East environment and enjoyed it very much. If you're a gamer then the action is where its at for you. As a flight sim enthusiast, flying NTTR is very enjoyable I recommend it highly for other flight simmers. The SOH map is going to look very much like NTTR, so I would get used to desert terrain.....not exciting.

If a fully clickable F-15C and the F5 were both available and you had the cash for one...which would you buy?

Frankly, I would have liked to see BS make the Eagle fully clickable than put out this limited use aircraft. The F5 will be another module with a limited number of missions.

I agree with everything that was said in favor of Crimea. Politics aside......what a great addition to the Black Sea map. Absolutely worth buying.

I'm always amazed at the work of some of the talented modders that are part of this community.....particularly the guys that do the cockpit mods. I'm very grateful to you folks. What I find really amazing is how quickly you can get this stuff out. Thanks to all of you guys.

Thanks for posting. BTW Wags....... After flying this aircraft I now have an appreciation for your live streams. This thing is a handful and to fly it with 500 "snipers" watching.... Myself included..... You will never need to prove your courage again.

Check your control bindings to be sure that the key strokes you are asking VA to execute aren't mapped to something else.

I wonder what will happen to "pit building" once VR becomes popular. There doesn't seem to be a point in building a realistic looking cockpit anymore (other than the enjoyment of building it).

I don't believe that Voice Attack is dependent on DCS in any way. You are basically using voice commands to execute key strokes.

....or the Mirage. Designating targets with laser would be awesome.

Do you guys think that these boards will eventually become obsolete as VR becomes more prevalent? I've considered buying a similar box, but it won't be of much use if I get a VR device.

DCS should purchase Ranger79's object pack and make it part of DCS. It's well done and worth the download to take a look at the objects.
