I agree with much of what you say, however Microsoft stopped supporting FSX because it didn't generate the profits necessary. So I'm not sure FSX is the best business plan.

Because.....I, like many others become impatient little children when a release is imminent. I would like to think I had better control of my emotions, but the sad fact is.....I DON'T! WHEN WILL IT BE RELEASED? You think this is bad.....I can't imagine what it will be like when the F/A18 or F14 get close. BigNewy and Sithspawn will lose their will to live.

So....taking notes and viewing charts would be impractical???

During Ollie's talk on TS....I asked about CMS and Manpads. At that time he mentioned that there were certain aspects of the CMS that were classified.

Anyone experiencing motion sickness? Also, what are folks doing about taking notes, etc. For instance after contacting a JTAC, pilots take notes. There are times when a pilot may refer to other notes, charts, etc. How is that accomplished using OR CV1?

Check out Starway's Northern Europe mod.....it looks very similar. The DLC contains new textures but the mod looks just like the DLC. At least in the videos that have been shown. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=144708

There are a few folks that should have been compensated for their work. I use a number of cockpit mods, etc. that are absolutely fantastic....I wish those guys were compensated. Starway should absolutely be compensated for the work he has done....its outstanding. However, if you are going to charge $15.00 (which I will most likely purchase) I would hope that there would be work done on the waves in Black Sea itself for instance....it looks like a lake on a calm day. Features that go beyond the Northern Europe mod. Now, maybe those features exist. I would post comparison screen shots between the NE mod and the new DLC.

I've used Crosstalk for several years. It's a great plugin. The beauty of it is that no one else needs to have it installed for the effect to work for you. Unlike UniversRadio (excellent plugin BTW) where everyone needs to be using it and its quirky to install.

I had the exact issue with my Saitek Combat pedals. I eventually had two potentiometers go bad. I gave up on them and ordered the MFG Crosswinds.....great pedals.

I'm just not sure there will be enough of a difference for some folks to part with $15.00. It's looks very much like the NE mod which is fantastic.

I enjoy it on so many levels. I love aviation; civil and military. I used to have my PPL until I couldn't afford it any longer. I started flight sims with F19 Stealth Fighter and flew FSX for many years. I discovered DCS and multiplayer coop two years ago and I've been addicted ever since. Learning not only aircraft systems but situational awareness, tactics, etc. is never ending. And then there are those peaceful moments when sometimes just flying is enough.

That happens to me in 2.0....with only the F86 so far.....
