I've been having this issue from time to time when on MP. The game will crash when a message appears in the top right of the screen. Recently while on the 104th server it happened again. Attached are my log files.... Logs.zip

Stupid question. All I need to do is create a text file....name it autoexec.cfg and add those lines to the file?

+1 I would love to see a NATO aircraft capable of SEAD....

Thanks for the input, guys. I did the upgrade and so far (knocking on wood) there have been no issues with the minor exception that I needed to upgrade my Realtek sound driver as the volume was slightly lower.

I'm still using DCS (and X-Plane 10) with W8.1 without any issues/complaints. My computer is used almost exclusively for flight sims. I'm considering upgrading to W10 but I'm concerned that I might be inviting problems that I don't have. So, I'm asking myself should I just leave good enough alone or upgrade? My computer specs are in my signature. I'd appreciate any advice.

I was experiencing some sound issues with the KA-50 after installing a new computer a few months ago. I thought the issue was within DCS but discovered that when I switched my computer sound profile to something different, the issue was solved. You might want to go to your sound control panel and try a different setting.....like going from surround sound to stereo.....etc.

Univers Radio looks very interesting......however it doesn't sound like a radio in the YouTube video I viewed. The Crosstalk plugin on the other hand doesn't have the same features but it sounds like a radio and the other folks on the TS channel don't need to have it installed for it to work. Which is perfect for a rogue like myself who roams aimlessly between servers looking for a home. No matter what server I join, the other players sound like they are on a radio.

I agree with Blooze...... In addition... I've hesitated from joining some TS channels/servers lately because in the past the conversations on the channel have little to do with the mission and many times are just puerile non sense.....which if it was my first time on Teamspeak, would keep my away for good. I'm not interested in taxiway takeoffs, guys shooting each other on the ramp, blue on blue kills, etc. One of the MANY things I like about the 104th server is that the server is well monitored and generally the players are cooperating with each other. Non sense isn't tolerated.....the atmosphere is friendly. The guys there are happy to help each other out.

I don't have a suggestion for the easiest way to create a chart. I have a list for each aircraft I fly with the command...key command and then TMWH command. e.g. for the F15 Collision Light........RALT+L.........Pinky Switch Aft I alphabetize the chart and use it when flying that aircraft. It doesn't take that much work since I'm only using a limited number of commands.

I'm always a go for a mission...... I always switch to full screen (alt+ENTER)...... however, it wouldn't hurt to change the power setting.

Yeah....after being airborne a few minutes my system freezes. Only happens in MP....SP is fine. I believe others with a similar issue have already made a bug report. Its frustrating because after using 1.5, I don't want to go back to 1.2.....I can't......I won't.

Excellent. I'm freezing in 1.5 MP at this point. Would love to fly it in 1.5.

Hey Blooze.....is this mission working in 1.5? Its one of my favorites.

I don't use Steam but I am getting freezes in Multi-player to the point where I can't use the MP yet. It only started occurring after the latest hot fix for 1.5. I don't have any issues with any other programs. It's starting to get a little lonely without MP.....having some withdrawal symptoms.....

I think they filtered out some of the yellow/green. I always thought the terrain was a little too yellow/green so I happen to like the new look.

Alt+ENTER did the trick for me....

Couldn't you just enable Vsync which would lock frame rates to your refresh rate???

Use the ENTER key.
