  1. Check your axis assignments.
  2. Crosstalk works great. Other people that you fly with do not need to have it installed so that alleviates a lot of issues. You can jump on any public server and the TS chatter simulates radio chatter to your ears. Many of the guys I've flown with use Aries in their squads.....There were frequent problems associated with Aries. It sounded great when it worked. But it could be buggy. Since I don't belong to a group/squad Crosstalk works perfectly (I use my own custom mic clicks). I do wish there was a simple, trouble free plugin that would simulate radio transmissions, channel changes, etc. In the meantime, Crosstalk works for me.
  3. One suggestion.....stop calling yourself a noob.....great video.....not noob work.
  4. It's clear that the warmer temperature is affecting performance which is very realistic. Take off rolls are much longer.
  5. Do you have any screenshots that depict your changes?
  6. It seems like a good idea but are pilots really buying aftermarket GPS units for military aircraft or are you referring to privately owned military aircraft that have been long retired?
  7. The A10C isn't interesting???......blasphemy, sir. We shall rectify this insult on a field of honor.
  8. A NELLIS AFB Template with static aircraft based on the Google Earth Satellite image. NELLIS TEMPLATE.miz
  9. Sounds great. Will your template include parked static aircraft? As it is, the airbases are empty. It would be nice to have a starting template for each airbase with some static aircraft already in place. If I knew better how the aircraft would be realistically located I would attempt it myself.
  10. Nice video. Great visuals.
  11. Forgive my ignorance but....elevating the BS Map from T3 to T4. What does that mean for the end user? Would there be any visual differences?
  12. IMHO the NTTR map is fantastic and a job well done by ED. I think it's real use is for training, which isn't a bad thing by any stretch. I'm not just referring to those new to DCS or flight sims (imagine back to when you first started......you begin flight training, weapons deployment, refueling, etc. at NTTR....knowing you are going to use the skills you develop in a combat theatre later on). When the Mirage is released, I plan on doing all training on the aircraft at NTTR before taking it to the Black Sea. I happen to enjoy practice/training....maybe because I need it more than most. The Strait of Hormuz map is what I'm really waiting for.
  13. IMHO Trackir is an absolute must. I recommend the TM Warthog with throttle. It's expensive but worth it. The stick in particular is of high quality. CH or Saitek pedals..... Crosswind pedals if you can afford them.
  14. I just finished up an A10C mission in the NTTR map with my buddy, Blooze. There really are no words to describe my reaction to the desert scenery. This map was well worth the wait and well worth the download. 1.5 blew me away....but this is just truly awesome. I've been into flight sims for more years than I care to remember and this is what I've always hoped it would someday become. I can't tell you how excited I am for what's coming in the future. THANK-YOU ED!!!! Bravo!!!
  15. It's subtle in most cases. You really can't hear a missile launch from the F15. I would love to hear from a real world pilot regarding just how realistic it is.
  16. The old, "I love you, now leave me alone." How many times have I said that while sitting in the pit.
  17. ++++ for the 104th Phoenix......a variety of air frames and its always populated with a good number of people.
  18. Yes you did. It's being released tomorrow.
  19. I would love to hear from someone of authority (Snoopy are you listening) on this issue. It would seem to me to be more realistic in that the targets are camouflaged.
  20. I would love to see a public server, much like the 104th Phoenix, where live ATC would be available and mandatory to use (simplified version....not PILOT EDGE). I don't want to see users get kicked for procedural imperfection, but an honest effort to use ATC would be required.
  21. There are plenty of tutorials on YouTube. There are no shortcuts in this "game." At first there is a good deal of frustration...setting up controls, etc. This isn't unique to flight simulation....try X-Plane or Falcon BMS control set up.....you will want to throw the computer out of the window until you wrap your brain around it. DCS takes some time and commitment but you won't regret one minute of it. Easy is boring......
  22. I wouldn't worry about prices. The market will dictate what modules will sell for. If the price is too high...they won't sell. There are enough sales throughout the year.....I wouldn't panic.
  23. A BUG......It's been reported.
