  1. Yes I suppose I pushed something wrong, because after mission restart I pay attention and everything works ok. A-10 hotas is awesome.
  2. It sometimes happen to me as well. No idea why. Then I restart the mission and it works. Like if I pushed something in wrong sequence, but - go to dsms page, view profile, select the weapon from the list, go into its menu.. it is not complicated. I also noticed I set up release parameters for some type of bomb, save and when trying to release they are not saved. Sometimes it seems there is a difference if I set the weapon parameters which is already selected and unselected? But why.
  3. bit OT, but you can run DCS in OpenXR with SteamVR reprojection where the artifacts are almost none.
  4. Many folks put the power to high performance but thats about it. I tinkered with most settings but found nothing having positive effect.
  5. Open the Steam window, click "VR" thick letter buton on top which opens SteamVR small window, click on settings, developer settings and select use steamvr as openxr runtime. To revert it open wmr window and wait until it complains about smthing and wants to fix it.
  6. Yep you're right! So I am getting the best of both worlds.
  7. I run MT version on OpenVR with reprojection on. My settings are above.
  8. Do you have the comment in the icon properties for single thread exe --forceopenxr blablah?
  9. I think I got it running, MT via SteamVR and reprojection on. There are almost no artifacts and it runs awesome. My settings are here:
  10. With the newest patch I have managed to run DCS as never before. OpenXR tools for WMR: latest openxr runtime ON, motion reprojection: automatic OpenXR toolkit: checked dcs.exe and opencomposite dcs.exe SteamVR settings/developer: current openxr runtime: steamvr SteamVR settings/video: motion smoothing off, per aplication dcs disabled start DCS with bin-mt/dcs.exe icon without any --force_enable_VR --force_OpenXR comments openvr_api.dll in mt-bin is unchanged In-game toolkit menu: fps limit 90 (pre-patch I had 45, now 45 stutters), turbo OFF (causes stutter, before the patch and with forced OpenXR I had ON), motion reprojection is not present in menu?? DCS starts in old, pre-openXR way with WMR big window and SteamVR small window Despite reprojections off everywhere, DCS in-game looks like having reprojection on, but that better "SteamVR" one with minimum artifacts. It is as smooth as a dream. When I open Mixed reality portal window, it says WMR is not ready to run OpenXR apps, fix it. If I fix it, I run DCS OpenXR either without reprojection which ghosts horizon a bit, or with repro which is smooth but with visible artifacts. I am frankly confused what is runtime, what is API, why I have OpenXR toolkit menu available when I run DCS with old "SteamVR" way, why I have reprojection running when it is switched off everywhere, why I can limit fps in the toolkit in-game menu when the reprojection is on. But it runs AWESOME.
  11. Motion smoothing OFF: CAS sharpening 20%, turbo ON, FPS cap 45, foveated rendering: wide quality Motion smoothing ON: the same, turbo OFF Slight addition of contrast and color in another tab I fly single thread dcs.exe as for me it runs smoother than MT.
  12. First! DCS World MT. Created a special MT mission uploading mode decreases mission opening time MT Export viewports corrupted - fixed MT. VR, Aircraft are missing cockpit tooltips - fixed MP. Crash when trying to control static via command panel - fixed MP. Crash when 052B Destroyer use target lock - fixed MT.Random stretched cockpit/resolution - fixed МТ. Hypoxia effect visual is broken - fixed Fixed: Smoke and craters from explosions flicker and lag in TV Mode of Targeting Pod
  13. In VR, I see all icons with 1 eye only.
  14. I guess the smooth ghosting of horizon/objects when rolling the aircraft at high settings are normal, even for high end cards. I can get rid of them only by employing motion smoothing; then everything is 100% fluid, like real life experience. With card powerful enough the artifacts are almost not present, what more, there is improved motion smoothing for OpenXR at works, which eliminates them by 75%.
  15. Better to make poll "multithreading beta made my performance 1. Improved in 2d 2. Worse in 2d 3. Improved in vr 4. Worse in vr 5. Dcs runs better in ST than in MT Etc. I am No.5 with 5600x/rtx3070/hp g2.
  16. Set the graphics settings to the same as before. MR can handle higher resolution etc., but for the price of more pronounced artifacts/distorsions.
  17. ReBar stopped working since spring 2021 nvidia drivers. I still use a driver from 31st March 2021.
  18. My feeling is the less your system struggles the less artifacts are shown with reprojection. I run DCS at PD1.0, OpenXR res setting set to auto or default (it allegedly adjusts resolution per your system capabilities) and either reprojection on - very smooth with z bit of jelly artefacts, or off with a bit of ghosting but no stutter and excellent picture quality. Strange enough, I have never been able to use reprojection with SteamVR succesfully. If I forced it, I got stutter as before plus artifacts on top. OpenXR rocks.
  19. If you want the OpenXR toolkit to work for DCS, you need to open it and check the dcs.exe square. I think in native mode the steamvr window shows up for a moment when starting, then closes.
  20. Alter the shortcut of dcs.exe like in attached pic. Not dcs-updater.exe. Put a space before --force_enable etc.
  21. I had to stop using my PCIE powered hub (worked with v1 cable) and put it into normal case USB port, probably 3.0.
  22. I needed to reset it, otherwise in safe mode it showed Foveated rendering kill switch ON/OFF and in normal mode none. Now it is ok. Thanks!
  23. I do not see Foveate rendering option in the Toolkit DCS menu now. I know it was like this before - FR was only available when going through OpenComposite. Is it possible to have it now? Thx
  24. Home-made cockpit from Swedish spruce, Warthog hotas, Virpil pedals, JetPad, Reverb G2, emergency eject handle (not functional yet). Patch of Skyhawk Squadron from 60ties. All visitors are in awe, usually forced to give it a try.
  25. Considering the next update being now planned on 1st March, I guess Multithreading will be in.
