  1. @jaapgrolleman @Calvin.Pimax Jaap, I have been trying to get an answer on when/if PIMAX 8K cables will ever be back in stock or available again. It has been at least 3 to 4 months since they have been in stock that I can tell, and I cannot get an answer on discord under any section to include the live help. I even tried live help through the PIMAX website with no luck. The cable went out on my original 8K Kickstarter backer model. I have replaced the cable once already and it did the trick. I want to upgrade to a super since the FOV is now where I would like to see it. I only fly DCS in VR with PIMAX and have been promoting your head set since I started shooting videos with the 8K 5 years ago. 283 DCS videos promoting PIMAX over that time period on my channel and not a single one shot on anything else than PIMAX. I have never been a PIMAX sponsor but faithfully promoted only PIMAX as the solution for VR when it comes to flight sims and DCS. I truly believe there is no better VR headset out there with literally over a thousand hours on the headset in DCS. I cannot continue to promote PIMAX or play DCS if my HMD dead in the water and no time frame on a replacement cable for the headset. I have been a backer from the Kickstarter days, and I am still rolling with the OG 8K for the FOV. Currently I have 550 cord holding the top strap onto 8K, I use a toothpick to press the power button to turn it on and off since the rubber power button finally gave out and popped off, and HMD has seen its days with small stress cracks around the edges. I just need another 6M 8K cable to keep me going with DCS until I can get my hands on the new Super. I have the funds to reserve a Super but I am worried about the current tariff battle between the US and China and there is no hard ship date if I were to place an order today. If I were to place a super on order today, do you have an expected ship time? I saw the first batch was shipping in April but no word on if shipments will continue after the first batch or at a what rate they will be shipped. Just so you know I am not full of it, below id the tribute I did for Val Kilmer in DCS when he passed away. All shot on the PIMAX 8K. This video now has over 16K views, and it is all because of PIMAX hardware and DCS. One of the more common questions I get is what VR you are using. I am hoping with as much business as I believe I have probably brought PIMAX over the years, you could hook me up and at least let me know if you are getting cables back in or if I am going to be waiting a while for the Super. Any thoughts or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. I also encourage to take a look at some of my videos on my channel so you can see how many people appreciate PIMAX VR and DCS.
  2. Much appreciated!
  3. My view from Kandy's video above. Good times! This was by far the best team work yet taking out such a dangerous target (Shilka). Zipper tore it up to.
  4. Awesome job Kandy! I will get mine out hopefully today. Got some good shots flying the Cayuse and marking the Shilka.
  5. Much appreciated my friend. Sad day to see him go. These guys were idols growing up and a huge part of my life. I am glad we have a hobby that can keep these feeling alive.
  6. Could not agree more my friend. I grew up watching those guys more than I can recall. Truly made an impact on my life and some of the guys I served with. That movie was the staple of one liners, beach volleyball, and just a damn good time with buddies. It was sad to hear he had passed. I thought this was a fitting tribute to someone who has honestly probably inspired a lot of DCS players my age or older.
  7. A proper DCS tribute to a celebrity who truly made an impact on my life. RIP Iceman. Feel free to post any tributes to ICE on this thread, or any other Top Gun Tributes.
  8. Not really mu friend. I had to invert both toe brakes so they were not on but that is about it.
  9. LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From a happily married middle aged guy (44), I concur Tonker. If I was single again, ITJ would be on the back burner and I would probably be a bush pilot.
  10. Tonker, not trying to stir the pot, just curious what happened? First I am hearing of this. Looks like a labor of love for sure. Outstanding model.
  11. LMAO! Yeah I have already been flying her. I can get her off the ground even better than the Cayuse. I will be doing a video soon cruising around Afghanistan in her.
  12. HOLY SH*T MAN! I just flew this thing and talk about a night a day difference from when it was first released 2 years ago. OUTSTANDING cockpit and pilot models. Absolutely going to promote this one, even if it does not wind up in ITJ right away. This is 100% going on the new Germany map when it comes out. I plan on cruising around the map in this and the Gazelle. Massive fan of the Gazelle and biased because I grew up around it. Let me know if you find any liveries. Maybe we could put a request out there. This thing released in the 60's so avionics wise, its on par for what we would be flying for the most part. Really digging it. Thanks for the shout on this one. Violent Nomad also pointed me this direction. I will try to get a video up this weekend.
  13. Just downloaded the latest version. Going to give it a flight later on. If you come across a camo livery similar to the above Dragonfly, let me know so I can download it. I looked briefly but did not see any out there.
  14. Outstanding news! Looking forward to the progress on this one.
  15. @tobi @Eight Ball Still and will continue to show her love Gents! Expect some kick ass vids when VN gets his Cobra out and we are flying Pink Teams.
  16. Got some time in on the Cayuse this morning. Practicing taking out a BMP that was attacking the South FARP to ensure it all ran well. I took the BMP out with the A-4 but got to close to the ground and bought it. Rushed the kill. Next goal is to let the BMP attack the FARP and see how it plays out. I was not sure if I had taken the BMP out so I went to do a BDA and pickup my A-4 pilot. Little did I know, this would turn into a really great solo flight running into new enemies I was not expecting so close to the S. FARP and learning to stay treetop/nap of the earth low and fast. We have incorporated a lot more AAA and Shilkas so get ready for some legit piloting skills and coop work ahead. Fore warning, I turned the volume up all the way to 100% in game on my PIMAX headset because the muffs that originally came with my KDMAS finally wore out on me. I did not realize it was going to drown out my voice when narrating. I went ahead and added some music because you could not understand me over the noise of the Cayuse. I have corrected this.
  17. For the love of Christ why is this mod not going to be paid for. I would gladly drop $80 on the Lancaster. I think the SDK would do this girl some good and really bring our WW2 inventory up to a new standard. Really looking forward to seeing this in DCS!
  18. Good times! Awesome watching from your perspective Kandy. Our comms were spot on. You placing rounds exactly where I was directing and crushing it.
  19. @tobi Can we have a fictional Little Bird with a rotor brake? LOL
  20. No apologies needed. Always good to spread the word when it comes to keeping these mods alive. Especially with ITJ living off a lot of them. Appreciate the heads ups!
  21. Definitely needs to be implemented into DCS. I am envious of that party!
  22. Just FYI, you have to be shut down completely to rearm/refuel. You can leave the battery on to talk with friend if online via SRS. It is a quick shutdown/startup process though.
  23. Right on man! That is what I have been tracking as well. I was not using the VSN F-4 because I roll with Heat Blurs. The other two guys I fly with are the same. We have never messed with the SU-30 mod. Last time we attempted the Super Hornet mod, it messed everything up and we had to ditch it. One of these days ED will get around to making one. Appreciate the feedback my friend!
