To my eyes the grey is now spot on, but maybe the darker green on the first version is more correct. But as already said, photos also vary in colors depending on a number of cirumstanfces so it can be subjective...anyway, great job :thumbup:

While being a huge fan of the 1.18 version, this new 1.19 gets my vote...the color variation within patches on the noise texture just apeals much more to me personally. Great work :thumbup: -
Nice work! I would also add removing the black step on stripe at the wing root...per photo :)

The first screenshot is how the folder looks after a fresh repair (I deleted the whole folder and ran repair)...you can see that there is already a MiG21Bis_CP_Gauges.dds and MiG21Bis_CP_Gauges_RoughMet.bmp file. The second screenshot is after I have deleted the bmp file and inserted the downloaded dds file. The results are as in the previous post

I dont get good results with the downloaded file...I have put in the required folder and deleted the bmp file. In the sim it still does not show up quite right...I have default cockpit option in specials tab selected and all mods disabled. Could someone post a screenshot how it looks with the file?

Textures of either the cover glass or lamps themself are still not PBR ready...I read it somewhere in the threads..

The WP buttons are animated and lighted up, just not yet implemented so I am certain thats a feature yet to be added. -

Waterman, I would also like to see your magic :thumbup: Could the glass material on the hud also be applied to the glass covers of gauges like you did for the Mirage? -
MiG-15 and MiG-21 use the same doctrine.

Mate, I think we are not looking at the same cockpit...this is the cockpit after latest update to OB (16.10). I agree with rrhode...one the best looking and immersive cockpits in FC3 and definately on par with other full modules and I would even dare to say better than some. -

+1 Agree Now it looks better then ever...when the updated cockpit came out for 1.5 it looked ok..but in 2.5 it just did not work. The artifical shadows were too pronounced and so made the cockpit look like a painting with no sense of material or depth whatsoever Great job ED -
Just to chime in briefly about the piper/gun in AA mode...talking with RL pilots about that, even they use the fixed mode for AA gunnery in real AC...

The new cockpit looks great! waaaay better then initially released, a bit of wear and tear has been added, fixed some bugs with black textures, the front hud is definately not the same..now more realistic and all hud parts are in the same tone with refined bump maps, the canopy sealant is now in pink color as it should be and also with bump maps, the stick is now rotate to the left as it should be...so quite a few changes. They did a great job on the cockpit update, no mod needed for me at least (and I am quite nitpicky when it comes to cockpit textures) -

I personally am not a fan of fake shadows and refelctions...it may look great but has a feeling like a matte painting. It is OK in the screenshots but once there is movement seing those shadows and refelctions being static kills it for me -
BK-90 launch authorization comes way too late

Works super fine in Caucasus since the new BK90 implementation by ED...all three modes work flawlessly and hit on target, provided planning and navigation are executed corectly. -

After today`s OB update, there is something strange going on with the color red and maybe even with other colors as well but not so noticeable. At certain angles the edges of the red paint on visuals (best example are red serial numbers) have a bright red almost glow and the whole visual seems to have bump maps but it should not have them, also, the AA is horrible on red edges. Attached are a couple of screens though it is difficult to show the problem trough screenshots...It is easy and immediately noticeable in the sim, even in encyclopedia and affects all modules. Could some of the community members and admins have a look for themselves so I can rule out a problem on my end. This bug was not present in the previous OB build. Tested on the previous and last Nvidia drivers-same result.

Happens only with that particular skin...all others work well with the 3 blade prop
