  1. Yak 52 is one of my favourites to fly around. Very good flight model along with USSR spirit
  2. One more thing to add, look at the north part. There is also many possibilities for land battle. This map I think offers anything you can ask for.
  3. I do not see any reason why DCS can not handle this map. Look at Syria how detailed it is. The cities like Haifa, Damascus, Adana, Aleppo are really big and DCS works just fine. Also the sea covers a lot of area so in that sense the impact on PC would not be that much. The distances to fly are reasonable and the map is very suitable for naval ops. This would be the best map for multiplayer environment. Just take a look at the proposed map and imagine two sides on east and west. Even the WWII aircraft would have a lot of fun there. Many islands to deploy samsites. Also for helicopter operations it is a great terrain.
  4. Balkans +1 Aegean +1
  5. Wow thats really how it is irl. I thought it was a bug sorry
  6. CBU-87 does almost no damage.
  7. I dropped CBU-87 on light armor targets. Although the bomblets covered the area quite well there were almost no hits taken. After I dropped second one, one light armor target destroyed. Is this really how ineffective this munition is? If yes, then I don't think that anyone in real life would use this weapon. Just useless. On contrast, the CBU-97 brings down the hell.
  8. The current situation in Syria is quite complicated. The mission editor currently can not provide enough to model the coalitions and factions. For example, Syria government forces are enemies to Free Syrian Army. Free Syrian Army is friendly to Turkey and USA. Russia is friendly for Syrian government, and Russia is friendly to Turkey (having joint patrol operations around Idlib). USA is friendly to PYD. PYD is enemy to Turkey. USA and Turkey are friendly. ISIS is enemy to all. Whatever; what I try to explain is that we should have more than 2 coalitions (and neutral) to model this. Each coalition need to have a relation to each as friendly or enemy. Factions (or countries) then belong to a coalition. There should be factions such as FSA, ISIS and PYD that they do not represent a formal country.
  9. At least, if one could iterate through the highlighted item in the comms menu with a hotas hat (or keyboard), that would be something nice. UP and DOWN iterate for selection, RIGHT to select, LEFT for prev menu. LEFT again to close the menu.
  10. You set the parking brake on, and it goes off before you start INS. I didn't say that I use throttle during INS. Well they made chocks because it is useful.
  11. Yes Diyarbakir is the secondary AB for ally Syria operations. It should be added I think.

    Missing towns

Addition to map: Town of Afrin (near Aleppo) Addition to map: Town of Kobani (north east of the map)
  13. See the coordinates below for location
  14. Parking brake goes off immediately when you touch the throttle to check EPU and SEC.
  15. +1. I spawned in Incirlik Syria, which has some inclination. INS was not proceeding. Later I noticed that the jet was moving
  16. I got airborne and switched off only the chaff and flare switches from CMDS panel. Then pressed the dispense button. Betty says "chaff flare" although nothing is dispensed.
  17. I have started from Incirlik AB and flew all the way to Ramat David via shoreline in low altitude, passing by every major city. Then returned back from Golan heights to Damascus, Homs, Aleppo, Idlib and back. I must say that this is a truely 5 star map. Good job Ugra! Like Wags said the amount of details is impressive. I wish you success in your future projects. ps: please consider adding the minor town Kobani, where ISIS had big clashes with USA and PYD.
  18. Title simply explains. Left to the dimmer there is a lever to adjust that. It does not work.
  19. HMCS brightness knob is not working properly such as, when it is Off it will turn on fully once the axis is around 50%. Coming down with the brightness it will not dim until you reach around 20%. Then from 20% down to 0% it works as you are going from 100% to 0%.
  20. CMDS Jettison switch only jettisons the flares. Not chaff.
  21. On the FCR, 1B scan and 2B scan does not change scanned height interval. Instead it changes the scanned elevations. To be more clear let me give an example: 2B scans from 10k to 20k but 1B scans from 0k to 10k; instead of 13k to 17k.
  22. 1. Hack time can be started but can not be stopped or reset. This causes always counting extra line on the main DED screen, once fiddled with. 2. Delta TOS line can not be switched from minus to plus values.
  23. On the right side there is a 3 way switch MAL & IND LIGHTS with options BRT DIM and NEUTRAL. It does not work.
